I was willing to pay the high price because I've heard Munros were so comfortable. Was very disappointed. They were way too small and didn't feel stable at all. Sent them back, but love Zappos.

Returning these. They are comfortable and these are perfect for anyone who values comfort much higher than style. But i value style as much as comfort; and they don't have enough style.

I’ve found Munro to be a tried and true shoemaker, but this one is a dud. The upsides are they are elegant and low-heeled, features that are getting harder and harder for us working gals to find. I had to order a half-size up, and as others have noted, the toe box is tight, but if you go up even more, your heel slips out. But the real issue is the comfy rubber soles offer no lateral support. My ankles fell repeatedly walking on normal surfaces - not good. Hoping Zappos will take them back after my having worn them to work and narrowly escaping an ankle injury. Guess it’s back to the old standby: Donald Pliner AAAs. They’re sleek, go with everything, and supremely supportive.

Toe box too narrow for my foot. Overall looked like nice sturdy shoe and would be perfect for work, etc. if you have an average size foot.

Beautiful shoe, well designed. Everything super comfortable, but unfortunately the back cut into the crease in the back portion my foot between my ankles.

Great basic! This shoe will work with almost any dress or skirt. Fit is good and the elastic around the opening helps the shoe stay on my super narrow foot.

These are very comfortable and attractive shoes. I am extremely pleased with them. As someone with wide feet, I'm so pleased to have shoes that look as good as they feel (and feel as good as they look).

Love this shoe! So comfy. Bought them in black and brown. I have "fred flintstone" wide feet and bunions, gross. So finding cute shoes is a huge challenge. I wore these all day, right out of the box. The fabric around the top of the shoe helps keep these snug. These are great with slacks for work. I don't think they look great with a dress, but that's just my opinion. Also love Zappos!

I like Munro shoes. They are comfortable, well made and durable. I was looking for shoes for work in a dark brown that had both style and comfort. I like the patent toe accent for style and the stretchy binding for fit. These shoes fit like a glove and are comfortable for walking. The brown is just right. Not too reddish.

I needed a classic black pump and Odette filled that need perfectly. Love that they're made in USA. These shoes are quite comfortable thanks to the elastic band around the edge. I do find, though, that Munros run a bit small on me, so I have to order a half size larger than other shoes.

Beauty and comfort. Worth every penny. I am a professional, work long hours and the last thing I want to get in my way of doing business is sore feet. Not with Munro American Odette. Fit true to size and holds its shape well.

Very good looking shoes, but not as comfortable as most of the other Munros I've owned. I ordered a wide and the fit does not match the description. This shoe is good for a couple of hours, but then my feet need relief.

The shoe fits very nicely (I ordered regular width originally and it was too tight, but the wide is perfect). The shoe is comfortable enough to wear all day at work too. The only draw back I've encountered so far is the back rubs the top of my heel just slightly.

This was a wonderful shoe! I love it...but unfortunately I must return it. The 9N was too narrow in the ball of my foot. :-(

These are nice conservative, professional-looking shoes. They would be good all-round black shoes for many occasions. However, the toe box was way too narrow and too stiff for me. Comfort is paramount, so I think that I am going with another pair. Thank God for Zappos as without them, I would be reduced to wearing old lady slippers 24/7.

Love these! Based on reviews, I ordered them 1/2 a size larger and they fit well. Very comfortable and professional looking.

Super cute shoe for a day at the office. I usually wear an 8 W, but found these to be a bit narrow in the toe box with slippage at the heel. I've now ordered in a 7.5WW to see if that fixes things. Thanks, Zappos! I love you!

These shoes were attractive and professional looking. However, I ordered a WW yet these shoes were very narrow, and I was forced to return them much to my disappointment.

I bought these shoes because I have another pair of Munro Amerucan shoes in stretch cloth, which are extremely comfortable. Unfortunately this pair of Munro pumps was not as confortablr and the shoes run short in length. I had to take them to a shoe cobbler to stetch them. I dd not return them, because I was traveling kverseas. I still prefer my other pair in stretch cloth. Much more comfortable.

I have had this shoe for 6 months. I have other Munro shoes. This one is not comfortable. My toes hurt by the time I've had them on for an hour.

Looking at all the wonderful reviews, I thought this would be the perfect shoe for me. The toebox, however, was,sadly, too narrow for me so I have to return it and keep looking.

I have had these shoes for nearly two years, so I can talk fairly about quality and comfort. Order half a size up in any Munro. They are well made shoes. There are no rips, tears, and they are still going strong. They just are not holding up. I only wear these at work, primarily on carpeted flooring. I do not walk long distances (i.e. commute) in these shoes. The arch/ball of foot area of the foot just is not well supported and my foot feels slightly contorted wearing these shoes. I have four different styles of Munros, and the Odette is the problem shoe for me.

I was willing to pay more for this shoe because of the great reviews, and I needed a wide width. They fit me very well and the heel was not too high to wear comfortably, but tall enough for longer pants. The only problem came when I actually wore them to work. These made my feet extremely hot and uncomfortable! My feet sweated so hard while wearing these shoes to the point where it felt like my feet were being pricked with pins. I'm so glad Zappos is letting me return these even though I've worn them. I don't think I'll buy Munro again.

I need to return the Munro American Odette. It was not true to size and the padding did not provide cushion after one hour of wear. My foot was in great pain after one hour. I am now preparing to fully understand the 365 Day Return Policy.
