Feels like a slipper, but stands up to shopping! Definitely a full size short - I am 11 1/2 AAA, but usually get 11AA. This shoe in a 12-12.5 put my toe at the very end - but it is very flexible and stretchy so not a problem. Am very pleased with the comfort on the very first time I wore it. Hope it lasts!

For being an included Arch support it was good, if a tad uncomfortable, but I've gotten used to my custom orthotics. But generally when I buy shoes that say they have good arch support zi find its usually a joke and almost nonexistent so I was glad it was decent. I'm glad because though the insoles are removeable, my custom orthotics absolutely do not fit. I picked the largest size and they do not fit inside the shoe. They're too narrow; I wish they came in W sizes. I got two pairs, in black, one in faux suede and the other in regular leather look. Oddly in the regular black leather-look the heel is very loose and the toe felt slightly snug whereas the black faux suedes fit great in the heel and were not too snug , though the right was slightly shorter. My left foot is longer than the right so it worked out for me. They are a neutral shoe in that my foot doesn't tend to roll out too much( the high arch makes it roll out ever so slightly) and my feet definitely don't roll inward. The stretch feels decent in the faux suede shoe. They are light. The front part where the ball of the foot sits might be too thin for comfort without my orthotics and I worry my feet will strike the floor too hard. Overall a light attractive shoe. I have very problematic knees. Ankles, back hips and I have mortons neuroma and fibromyalgia. Finding a comfortable but not too heavy or stiff , somewhat attractive flat, that accommodates my orthotics that keeps my feet and body in neutral alignment , that doesn't squeeze pinch or poke my sensitive feet, and isn't insanely frumpy looking or has too many squiggly design and is just a simple professional looking black maryjane. In my large size foot length and width, continues to prove impossible. I'm probably going to keep the black suedes so I have something to wear when I can't wear my sneakers. Sadly these arcopedicos are not going to be a good walking shoe on vacations.

Arcopedico has super-comfy shoes. However, these particular shoes were way too big as well as dowdy.

In Arcopedico shoes, a 39 is snug and a 40 is a bit large. The footbed is comfortable but these shoes have poor ankle support so I am returning them. I like the idea of a vegan shoe, but leather has more structure.

I have narrowish feet. These were a bit roomy side to side. fit small, so I'm stretching them out with shoe blocks. they are very lightweight. might work for around the house or running an errand but wont be supportive enough or comfy enough for extended walking. kinda weird shoes overall.

I loved the look and fit, but there is minimal arch support, and the fabric upper is so low, thin, and flexible that it offers no general foot support either. It's like wearing slippers. Had to return.

I wear 7-1/2 and my feet are wide-ish. Read all the reviews and bought a larger size (39 instead of 38) since many reviewers said they run small. Shoe was too big and the heel padding really hurt but I imagine it would soften over time. Velcro straps way too long for the shoe. Love that they are vegan. Really bummed. Returned and ordering 38 to try.

I was excited to finally try this shoe, but when it arrived it was unfortunate that the fit was too narrow and tight (wearing pantyhose stockings).. the structure of the shoe also felt somewhat flimsy. I bought these for work where I stand for long periods of time, and even if the fit was good.. couldnt picture these supporting my feet the way I need at work.

Very disappointed in these shoes. I was looking for a lightweight shoe and thought these would work. I liked the color. These shoes may work for a very wide foot, but they were way to wide for me. It may be because they were so wide, that I didn't like the style.
I have several Arcopedico shoes and love styles and fit.

These are very lightweight shoes - almost like a ballet slipper. While comfortable - I liken these to slippers more than shoes that I could wear all day. They do not have enough structure for me. Others may love them.

It seems like these would be super comfy and lightweight but I cannot get over how ugly they are. They look like something a grandma or old nurse would wear. Also I did not realize the top part has no structure to it. It is completely floppy/soft. I am in my late 20s.

I was really hoping this shoe would be the answer to my quest to find a vegan black dress shoe that would allow me to comfortably be on my feet all day, but it was not. After exchanging my size for a half size smaller to compensate for the shoddy sizing by Arcopedico, I couldn't believe how poorly designed the insoles were. The arch support feels like it was intended for a giant, and as a result takes up most of the shoe and contorts my foot, making standing or walking torture. So much for their slogan of being, "The most comfortable shoes on earth". Even changing out the insoles with store bought insoles didn't help. Back these go, and I won't make the mistake of buying this brand ever again.

I ordered a size up (40) and it was a mistake. I typically wear a 39 in Birkenstocks and a 39 in this shoe would have worked. I returned the shoe instead of exchanging it for the proper size, though, because I wasn't crazy about the quality of the shoe. I like the arch support and the Achilles support, but overall, the shoe seemed flimsy. You could clearly see where they had glued the shoe together and it doesn't seem like it will last. If the shoe was less, I would have exchanged it, but it does not seem worth the cost. I wasn't crazy about the style, either: I'm 34, and it seemed a bit too matronly on. I'd like a funkier shoe. I do agree with a previous reviewer who said it was extremely breathable and it seemed like you could toss it into the washer.

Material was very soft and comfortable. However, the width was too narrow and did not offer a wide width. With this problem, the size felt smaller than usual.

Zappos sells shoes size 9.5-10 as European 41. The comfortable size for US size 10 women's should be European 42. Love these shoes, but they are too small. Wearing them, but with long-term discomfort. I can no longer exchange them, because my size is sold out.

These shoes fit like a W instead of a M width even with socks. The heel flops and the velco strap needs to be pulled all the way to keep the shoe on. I am so disappointed in how this brand is being made. I bought this style of shoe for years and never had this problem but it appears that the company has changed with way they are being made and for this reason I can no longer purchase them. This is the 2nd style from this brand that I've had to return for the same problem.

Flimsy shoe that lacks support, and unfortunately is fairly ugly.

I have to say I'm disappointed in these. The soles are so thin you feel every little crack in the pavement, and there is no side support; the shoes just spreads infinitely to the sides. I wish I had returned them when there was still time, but I kept fooling around with them, putting different insoles from other shoes in them, trying to make them work for me. Perhaps if you have a special foot problem and want a very soft and forgiving shoe, this would be good, but personally I'd rather wear stilettos or pointe shoes on the street than these.

Biggest problem with the Arcopedico L18 is that the sole of the shoe doesn't offer enough cushioning and protection for the metatarsal region of the foot. It feels like the pad of your foot is walking barefoot on the floor! Since I already have metatarsalgia (sore feet), these won't work for me. I won't be able to wear my orthotics with these shoes either, since this shoe already has too much built-in arch support to work with a custom orthotic. (My custom orthotics have built-in arch support already.) This is a soft leather shoe and seems suitable only for wearing around the house on carpeted floors. However, I can't wear it at all.

These shoes run really small so order up a size, if you can. I wear an 11 1/2 and ordered the 43, so I am out of luck.
