My feet like these shoes. Pretty much anything Arcopedico is a win. I am on my feet and generally walk anywhere from 13000 to 19000 steps during my day, so I am not so kind to my shoes. I need something that can withstand my needs and that is not so easy to find. This particular style, I have in 5 colors now. I wear them to work (casual dress code) and so rotating them really seems to helps my feet be able to withstand a hard work day. They feel like tennis shoes but, visually, seem so much nicer to look at. I wear cotton sock liners... sometimes if I have had a few crazy days in a row, I'l throw in a minimal insole-- however I don't think that, for most people, they would need to do that. I also bought a white pair to wear on my tropical vacation when I am am out site-seeing or running around... they just seem a bit more stylish but work as hard as a tennis shoe, comfort-wise. Also, it is true that you can easily through them in the washing machine and let them air dry... I have done that and they have washed quite well for me. I get compliments all the time and people ask me where I got them. So anyway, about Arcopedico, I am impressed. I have tried many other brands and they are very forgiving to my slightly wide feet and the rigors that I put them through. I also own some of their booties and some of their leather flats... I have become quite a die-hard Arcopedico fan as at least half of my shoe collection has their label. Yes, I would recommend these shoes... and even if they cost a little bit more, they make up for it in longevity. Happy Feet!

These shoes were comfortable from the get-go! And I found a way to adjust the elastic so it's not sticking up in a loop:
just twist it around the stopper underneath so it doesn't show.

I bought these shoes in 2011. I still wear them. I wore them all over Israel and the city of Jerusalem, which is a very difficult city to walk. I did wear an ankle brace for that day, which help secure a weakened ankle. Now in 2014, I still wear them. The light brown shoe was very dirty for continued wear and I took a brush and soap and scrubbed them by hand and put them out to dry. They looked like new again. I was worried to try cleaning them that way but took the chance. So I wanted to say they clean easily and wear long.

This is my first purchase of the Arcopedico brand, so when I opened the box I couldn't believe that they would actually be supportive of my high arch, but they are that and more. The size I ordered works perfectly for me and I am deligted with the light weight of the shoe for packing.

I love these weird looking shoes! I wanted ballet flats to wear with rolled up jeans but most had either no arch support or were too thin soled to walk very far in. These fit the bill perfectly except they are a little strange. First, they are fabric, not leather. Secondly, they are cut rather higher than most flats giving them that funky orthopedic look. However - all that aside, they have good support which I need and they are quite comfortable once you get used to them. A friend has bought them after seeing mine, and wants other colors as well. I would recommend these shoes without question unless you are a "shoe diva" who has to always have fashion forward shoes.

I just walked all over Paris in them...like wearing slippers. If and when your feet swell they expand, and when they get wet they dry in no time flat. Beware...these fit but others of the same brand and size did not. Arcopedico has inconsistent sizing.

Amazing comfort and support. Wore them to day long trip to museum and were perfect. And they are so lightweight. Expensive, but worth the price.

I have these wonderful feather weight shoes. It is like wearing a pair of slippers. They totally conform to your feet. The arch is high, so it may not fit all feet well. I love them!

Like wearing slippers these shoes are so comfortable. Right out of the box I wore them shopping all day and feet felt fine. Can wear them without socks also without feet feeling sticky. I wear a 10.5 and it's hard to find that size in good looking shoes. Great shoe!

This is a cute shoe and very comfortable if your feet are "normal". There was insufficient arch support for me.

I purchased this shoe along with the Revere Naples as I am in need of a basic, black loafer. I have been intrigued by this brand for years and decided to give this one a try. These were actually a lot cuter in person than I was lead to believe by some of the reviews. The black with the gold stitching is really cute and makes the shoe looks a little bit dressier. My only problem is it was a bit too small for me. I noticed the sizing includes two sizes - I wear a size 11 and I had to order a 10.5-11 so I'm wondering why this felt a bit small on me. I'm usually always an 11. I have problematic feet and my feet are quite sensitive so I absolutely refuse to wear a shoe if it's not entirely comfortable to me. If this hadn't felt a bit too small on me, I definitely would have kept it.

I bought my first pair because I needed to go on a business trip shortly after foot surgery. That was five years ago, and I am now on my third pair. I wear them everywhere, but especially when traveling because they pack flat, are comfy for long-ish walks, look ok if I need to be a bit dressier, and can be surface washed if they get too dirty. What is more to love?

At first when I took these out of the box, I was disappointed because I thought they looked like slippers. Then I put them on, and they felt great, but when I walked, they slipped very much in the heel. Like flip flops almost. To keep them from slipping I had to tighten the cord. This reduced the slippage, but made them way to tight around my bunion. There was also a weird looking loop of elastic sticking out too. BUT….
I needed shoes for an outfit I was wearing so I decided I was going to put up with the slipping and keep them. I felt better about how they looked once I had them on with my dressy clothes. I didn’t need to do much walking that day, and my feet felt great in them. They have a great arch support and cushioning for a ballet flat type of shoe.
I wore them a few more times out of necessity, and long story short, I am now ordering a second pair in a different color.
I wear a 7.5 wide/ 38 European and have bunions/ arthritis on my great toes. The soft stretchy fabric is great for my bunions. Great arch support and cushioning. Runs a bit long, but I’m afraid if I sized down they would be too narrow.
Great for church, a party or a concert, but I would not be walking around the city in these all day on vacation.

I wear 10.5. Shoes size 11 are too big. I ordered 42 which is supposed to be 10.5-11. My toes hit the front edge of the shoe. No way size 11 foot would fit when my foot wouldn't fit. Cute, comfy, too short.

The fabric is not especially heavy on these, and they don't breathe as well as they could. Comfortable though

I wanted these to work! The built up arch was clunky, as though I was dragging it along with each step; the heels slipped off despite the toggle "solution," which looked awkward pulled out, and the silhouette looked dowdy on me.

I wanted so badly for this shoe to fit, but it is just too soft. I need support! I'll keep looking, though. Thanks, Zappos.

Pros:
Looks really cute on
Nice fabric
Lightweight
Good arch support
Cons:
The description states you can add your own orthotic. This is categorically false. You can take out a light inner liner, but the shoe's arch is part of the bottom of the shoe and stays in. So, when you add your own orthotic, the combined arches are TOO high.
The inner liner fabric is too slippery so that I can feel my arch slipping on it when I walk (using only Arcopedico's insole)
The fit wasn't right for me. (I have a high arch, normal width, and apparently a smaller than normal heel.) In the size 39 I could feel (and see) my big toe against the front of the shoe. In the size 40, I could feel the shoe slipping slightly (instead of holding firmly) to my heel even when I tightened the loops
The loops look absolutely absurd when pulled tight. They don't even lay flat on the front of the shoe, but project upward. How did this design ever get off the drawing board?
Zappos sent me these shoes in open boxes, without tissue paper.

I am disappointed to return these. They are comfortable, color is great...but I can see how my toenail would eventually tear through the material. Another reviewer mentioned the same concern, with no inner reinforcement on the fabric.

I have been wearing Arcopedia shoes since their beginning. Size 37 (6 1/2 wide)
are perfect & the sizing is the same for all styles. They are my ‘to go’ shoes for all trips. I love that most pack flat & I can wear them all day in comfort.
