I love Arcopedico shoes. I love that they have vegan styles and that you can throw them in the washer. I also love their arch support. I especially love their boots. But this style just does not work for me. In order for my heel to not slip out of the shoe while walking, I had to go down a size and my toes are hitting the end of the shoe. For someone who does not have this problem with ballet flats, these would be great shoes. It just doesn't work for me.

Bought these for my mother, who has hammer toes and other foot deformities caused by arthritis. Not only do they run very small (the 39, equivalent to a US 8.5-9 according to the size chart, felt like a US 7-7.5) but the toe box is not nearly large enough to accommodate serious hammer toes comfortably. They are very light weight and very cushy inside and have good arch support, so probably would be quite comfortable for someone with normal feet. But order at least a size up!

I ordered these - like all the rest of you - to accommodate my bunions. I also wanted a small, lightweight shoe that I could pack in a carry on for work trips (my work is dress casual, and these are ok - though they border on the "I'm retired" look). They do fold incredibly flat, and make even a larger foot seem smaller. The upper is soft and comfortable, though I can't speak to durability. I am a 9.5 U.S. sizing and ordered the 41, but my toe pushed the end of the shoe so I felt they run small - and the arch support, which is molded into the sole, was too far back, which would have caused a blister on my arch. I am returning them and trying the next size up (remaining optimistic and loving Zappos return policy).

These shoes are cute and they are comfortable, which is important for these 65 year old tootsies with bumps and crooked toes. They feel sort of like slippers. The toe box area, however, seems just a teeny bit too snug: the shoes are about 1/8 or 1/4 inch too short, in my opinion. Someone else commented that they were afraid that their big toenail might eventually push through the fabric and I have the same feeling. I wore these in the house for a couple hours and could not shake the thought that I would eventually find them too slipper-ish and that my bumpy toes were just too obvious against the fabric. So, I am returning them.

I got these because I have persistent foot problems: hammertoes, ingrown nails, neuropathy. They really should have fit, but when I put them on they were much shorter and narrower than I would have expected, and pressed against an ingrown nail that had recently been treated, sending shooting pains through my foot. I couldn't stand them for more than a couple of minutes, though in that time I did feel that they had more support than I imagined they would when I saw the flexible sole. Moderate, but better than I'd feared.
I was tempted to try a size up, but I'm not sure I'm going to bother. They're very expensive for shoes that seem so flimsy. The support was okay out of the box, but I'm not sure how long they'd hold up. They also seemed very snug across the top of my foot where the toes meet the body of the foot, and that's not too comfortable.

Oh, how I wish I did not have flat feet so I could wear these shoes. They are definitely built on the kind of last that does not work for flat feet. However, they are great for bunions! They completely and comfortably cover those nasties. But, because the last isn't straight, but too curved, I cannot wear these. Too bad, because the material is wonderful!

While the body of the shoe expanded the binding did not so my "bunion bones" could not fit in. Also even with removing insert there is not enough room for an orthotic. Very attractive shoe though for regular thin feet.

I have bunions and the stretchy material molded comfortably around them. I bought two pairs for that reason However, when using the shoes, i found that my feet hurt because the front part of the sole does not offer enough cushioning and I felt every little bump in the paving. I will buy again because they are the only shoes that fit my deformed feet but I am having extra sole added for more comfort.

God, I wanted this shoe to fit right. It's super comfortable, lots of support. And it's a cute shoe. But the back still always slips off my heel. It's true to size, but given the style of construction, the back just doesn't fit solidly. The cinch in front should help to tighten in back, but it just doesn't. Unfortunately, these have to go back.

Not much support. Very much like a slipper if that's what you are looking for. Zero arch support. I'm returning because I can see it allows my foot to turn inward.

I love this brand, but not this shoe. Arcopedico and Vionic are my new go-to first brands for my post-surgery feet. There was a nail coming through in one of the soles. Flat topped nail even with shoe bed but still a nail. For the price, need better quality control. But I love Arcopedico boots and a Mary Jane slip one that I forget the name of. It's just these L14s that do not work for me. Going back.

I needed a comfortable shoe that looked okay (I always hope for "great", but that's the holy grail) with dress (work) slacks. I thought these might work, and in fact they did, so I kept them. However, though they didn't look it in the photos -- nor could anyone tell unless they really cared to take a close look -- the uppers are stretchy, fairly thin fabric, not a stiffer material. I need more arch support (they had almost none). I tried an orthotic in them, but because of the fabric they are made of, that raised my heel too much, and I couldn't keep them on. I could also feel a rough surface (say stones) though the sole. I wore them for a couple of days on a business trip, but switched back to my other shoes.

The shoe is extremely padded through the heel and arch; the toe has almost no padding. It's a very flexible shoe, but I think you will feel the ground (at the toe) when you walk.

I got these because I thought my orthotics would work in them. However, they already have an arch built into the shoe, and not in the insert, so my insoles did not work. Also, they felt smaller than usual, and I wondered if they were meant to fit like socks? My gut is that they will result in pain so I am sending them back.

Don't know. This shoe does have excellent arch support. The problem is that it doesn't support the rest of the foot. I'm still deciding the fate of this shoe. It looks as pictured and is what I was looking for. However, I don't know if it is supportive enough for long time wear. It was supposed to be an alternative to an espadrille which never has enough support for my feet. To be decided.

I love this shoe and I love Arcopedico, but this style is just not a comfortable fit for me. No matter how I adjust the fit it's too tight in front and a larger size would be too loose at the heel.

Wanted to love these shoes. I am a solid 38 in euro sizing and these were way too big. Got another style in this brand and they are fine. Guess the sizing between styles is not consistent.

I wanted to love these based on all the positive reviews, but when I tried them on, the heel just did not feel secure. No matter how I adjusted the bungee cord, the heel was too shallow and not cupped properly. It does have great arch support, and they are soft and stretchy, but alas, I had to send them back.

The wedge is a lot higher than I thought it was going to be. To much like grandma slippers so will have to send back.

I wanted to like these. I try them again every few months, with a new heel cup or ball of foot cushion. The insole removes so I tried my Spenco inserts. But my foot slams forward and my knees hurt within the hour. Back to Dansko. These adorable but painful shoes are going to a consignment shop.

I usually wear a 9.5 and my foot is kind of narrow. Ordered size 40 and it was too short and wide for me but as another reviewer mentioned, it slipped off the heel. Unfortunately, I am returning shoe. Really appreciate Zappos easy return.

These are pretty shoes but I did not think that the quality was worth the price. This style has a cardboard feel to it and my heel bothered me after one wearing. I have plantar fasciitis. I have worn the Queen II and found it to be quite comfortable. This style was disappointing to me.

I was disappointed in these. I have been looking for supportive vegan shoes, and these popped up again and again and again. The reviews were good, so I figured what the heck. They were huge. I made the mistake of reading too many reviews that said they run small. I am an 8-8.5, so I ordered the 8.5-9, and they were far far too large. But I could obviously have returned them for another size. I did not, because they are also ugly. I really wanted to like them, it seemed like the arch support was good, but I am vain in that I want cute shoes. The search continues.

Very loose in the heels for me. It's not an attractive shoe - no vegan shoes on Zappos are, unfortunately. I had hoped for a vegan work shoe (can't wear sandals at work) and it's just too big in the heel with or without my orthotic in, with or without socks. They also make noises you'd rather not make with every step...
