This is a strange shoe. There’s no way you could really call this good looking, but if it fit well, it would be ok. The knit upper is certainly comfortable, but my toe is pushing at the front fabric, and I think with wear, it would make a hole (as happened to me in a pair of wool Allbird shoes. The reason I’m not keeping this shoe is that there is no padding at all around the arch, so my pronating foot leans heavily onto the inner edge of the footbed, which is very uncomfortable. These shoes seem to run narrow, which I normally would like, but it means that if your foot is a little wider than the footbed, that footbed will dig in. So I’ll be returning these shoes, unfortunately.

I really want to like these shoes--I think they'd be perfect for my bunions. Love the knit uppers, but the arch on the right shoe hit me in the wrong place and made my foot scream in pain. I thought maybe it was just the misplaced insole but I tried putting my own insole in the shoe and it still hurt. Obviously, I sent these back.

I had to return these as they were too snug in the toebox. I would have exchanged for a half size larger, but overall I wasn't happy with the support and comfort. The arch felt more like I was standing on a lump rather than support. I'm sure that if I had worn them for any length of time it would have really bothered me. Even with the knit body, my toes felt rather cramped.

I have worn these shoes in the past, and LOVED them. They were great for travel. ordered a new pair and they sat on the shelf until now. I wore them all day, and by the end of the day, I had abrasions on each instep. I ordered the new pair in a size larger because my toe seemed to be at the edge of the shoe. So unsure of what size to wear, now, but would love to wear them.

I loved the knitted top of these shoes so much that I exchanged the first pair I bought for a pair that was a full size up. These were purchased for a trip and they felt so squishy-comfy with a quick stroll through the house that I put them in the suitcase without a worry. At my destination, however, a single city block wearing socks raised blisters where the toe bar hit. The remaining blocks to the planned event were misery. I tried these without socks and then with socks again; same sad results. I still love the look and feel of the top of the shoe, and am going to try an insole or pad or something to minimize the impact of the toe bar. But the blistering makes this a low-star. I'm not sure a half-size difference would have helped if one were offered. If I could remove the toe bar, this would be my perfect forever shoe.

My experience with this shoe was not good. (1) Bought these in black. They looked cute in the picture of the black shoe- in the picture they are loosely laced. When you lace them up on your foot it doesn't look as nice because you have to lace them more tightly. The reality looks more like the picture of the beige shoe (and that's not too good!). (2) Insoles kept falling out, had to buy new insoles within 1 month. (3) No arch support (4) Way overpriced. When you get these shoes in hand it is hard to imagine how they put a price tag of $105 on them. I wore these for about 3 months then discarded them.

I wanted this to work so bad! My wide feet just felt off-balance with the sole of the shoe. There isn't really any arch support despite being able to remove the insert there's just not a lot of leeway to put in an insole. I tried walking through an airport in these and through the streets of London and it made my feet hurt a lot. They're cute but not going to work better than a traditional sneaker.

Very soft shoe, no real support, not much cushion in the sole. For travel, not a substitute for a walking shoe.

Reasonably comfortable, but so old-lady-ish that I couldn't get it off my foot fast enough. No amount of comfort can make up for a shoe that instantly ages you by 30+ years. Sent it back.

These pack flat, but offer very little support or cushioning. Makes European cobblestones or any kind of tourist walking very tiring. They are fine as slippers, though.

I can't figure out what everyone loves about this shoe. I was looking for a comfortable shoe to take to Europe but found these to be very flimsy. I agree that they felt like I was wearing slippers but I don't wear slippers outside. They don't offer my version of arch support - or any support for that matter. I definitely can't imagine walking around all day in them.

Size was larger than expected. Width was fine. There was little if any arch support. I felt there was no inner sole and in the 15 minutes I had the shoes on, walking in my apartment, they were very uncomfortable.

I wear a US 13, EU 45. Zappos sizing frustrates me, since they often recommend a "size 13" that is actually more like an 11 as it's EU43, so this was one of the brands that I ended up ordering several sizes until something like a women's 15, which still bumped on my toe at the end a bit. I really wanted these to fit!! but sadly, misrepresented US sizing, and weird footbed made that impossible.

My heel does not sit far enough into the shoe - feels like they are coming off when I walk.

Loved the look of the shoe, but the fabric it is made of doesn't support the foot overall.

This is the most comfortable shoe I have ever put on but it runs narrow. Not so much through the foot but in the toe area. It was supposed to be M width. I have never had a M width be too narrow for me. Unfortunately these will not work for me.

Horrible shoe for walking. There is no cushioning at all once you step onto pavement. They feel great in the house, though, if that's what you're looking for. This would have been my fourth pair of arcopedico shoes, but not any more. The quality just isn't there and neither is the cushioning. I ended up buying a pair in Spain on our trip, called Fluchos. They have great cushioning for walking!

returned. my feet are narrow and I cannot wear this shoe which comes only in a medium width. disappointing

This item felt and looked cheap. Fell apart quickly.

I'm so sad about these shoes! They were recommended to me as super-comfortable with decent support. I was excited when they arrived - color was so perfect! I slipped them right on. I had read the other reviewers talking about the heel slip the experienced, so I was paying attention to that and I didn't have it - so that seemed good too.... It was the footbed…. the arch support was truly decent and would have worked, but I guess my feet were wider than the shoe's footbed? I felt the edges of the footbed all around my foot... so uncomfortable. The knit top of the shoe was amazingly comfortable and after my initial "no go" impression, I actually put them on the next day, thinking I could get past the footbed sizing trouble. Nope.
