The material looks like a knit sweater and feels like broken in comfy t shirt material. Not the most supportive, though, so don’t plan long days of standing on hard surfaces. Easy to put on and take off. The White absorbs all kinds of dirt, so be prepared to clean them a lot. They are cruelty free and (somewhat) cute...hard to find in a shoe.

These shoes are almost 2 years old and still look like new. The fabric, however, has stretched and I have to tie them as tight as possible to feel like I have support. I can say for 6 months of constant walking through the US and Japan, they were fantastic. They got wet and did well, I washed them once and they did well, eventually they got loose. Eventually I washed them and even dried them in the dryer to see if I could shrink them. Didn't work. I'm disappointed because they are cute and very comfy. I put my own orthotics in them and they worked, just wish they wouldn't have stretched out. (Oh I thought of getting a smaller size but my toe almost already hit the top so that was out)

these are going traveling...they feel like socks with a solid base!!!!!

There is a lot I love about these shoes. They are very lightweight and will be great to pack for a trip. Most importantly for me, they are so flexible that my bunions and hammer toe do not object when I wear them. In fact, in many respects, I feel like I am wearing bedroom slippers instead of shoes. Overall, I love everything about the shoes except for one thing. When I walk I feel the edge of what I think may be the arch support. This ridge runs across the shoe and is just at the start of the ball of my foot. I am conscious of feeling this strip whenever I walk. Despite this problem, I am keeping the shoes. I hope I get used to that issue or, better yet, that it disappears as the shoes get used to my feet. Besides, everything else is great.

Returned, but kept another pair in a different color. Just not fond of the black and white, kinda plain.

Comfortable fit, just did not like the fabric, afraid would snag on something sharp.

I ordered a size 39. I’m often an 8 1/2 narrow. These fit! And they’re very stylish. I got the white color which has a tan sole, tongue, heel strip and laces. The white is bright. The fabric looks like a large knit (to me). Very cute. Definitely keepers!

I needed a comfortable shoe with support while recovering from foot surgery. Zappos is the best place to look because their support people really care. While I had to return a few pair in this process, I was able to find other shoe/sneakers that work for now. Thank you to the staff!

The arch support did not fit my arch, otherwise these are great looking shoes and would have been extremely comfortable to wear. Great looking and am sorry to return them. Ordered size 9 and it was a true fit.

I really wanted to love these shoes. The fabric is great, the shoe is soft and comfy, and the olive green was perfect. But, they do run a bit large and there is a high arch that just felt wierd to me. I sadly am returning them.

I love the colors this shoe is available in. I considered the pink but purchased the turquoise. They are slippery on certain surfaces. Also, I’d like to be able to launder them when necessary and I can’t find info about that. They have an anti-microbial treated interior and that would probably wash out. They are super comfortable, like a sneaker.

Still looking for a closed toe shoe to wear with my AFO. This one did not work.

I want so badly to keep these shoes. They are so lightweight. I travel a lot and I can imagine these in my carryon as my second pair that can actually be worn with a dressier pant. My left foot is slightly larger than my right and if the toe box were just a tad rounder, I would definitely keep these. I prefer more arch support than these offer, too. I'm wearing them around the house now and will decide shortly. I may try them in the next size up.

The most comfortable shoes! Love these shoes! Comfortable walking all day-my go to shoes! Bought two pairs-one for work and no for everyday. May not be the best colder weather shoe-so therefore less stars for overall and style.

Great and stylish shoe. Ordered a 39 and 40, however both didn't fit. I'm returning both pair and ordering a size 38. Hoping that will fit my very narrow foot.

Comfortable shoe but sarry night color was most unttractive. The white is really good-looking.

When these arrived, I was surprised to discover how sporty and attractive they are. I ordered them in black and they’re cute! The arch support is good. The soles and arches fit my feet very well. Unfortunately, the tops are way too roomy for my flat, slender feet and I need to return them. Even when the shoe laces are cinched down as tight as they will go, the fabric tops are way too loose. I wish Arcopedico made a narrow width in these shoe. I would like to have them in several colors. Thanks to Zappos for an excellent return policy.

All materials good quality. Not enough support for my over pronation . Nice color but had to send back. Generous size.

I wanted to love these, so I could get all the colors! ;) They do fit well for narrow, low-volume feet, since the uppers are so flexible and can be tightened. But I've been having foot pain problems and only Dansko or Birkenstocks seem to really help. The Arcopedicos do have some arch support, so if you don't have foot problems, these would probably work just fine. They are a cute style!

These are too wide for my narrow feet. Sneakers usually work because I can tie them tighter to fit. But these are so stretchy that when I laced them completely together, so the tongue was not visible, they let my foot shift around so much inside the shoe when walking that my toes would slide forward and hit the end, and the arch support wasn't where it belonged with each step. For me the upper was too flexible to keep my foot secure. They do feel like socks, and are very comfortable. With a good fit, I would have loved them.But I had to return them.

I have now lived in three pairs of Arcopedico's Shawna--surely the most comfortable shoe ever produced--and so had high hopes for this shoe. The good: It's stylish, slim-looking on the foot, and its knit upper provides room and comfort for wearers (like me!) who need space for their toes and bunions. The bad--for some reason there is far less support and padding for the ball of the foot. It was puzzling at first, and then downright uncomfortable in a couple of hours. It felt as though there wasn't anything more substantial than cardboard between the ball of my foot and the ground. I did try a couple of inserts, but nothing alleviated the discomfort. Disappointing, as it's otherwise a nice, supportive shoe.

I love these shoes. They're comfortable and stylish. I like them so much that I boughr 3 pairs in different colors. Whenever I wear these, I get a lot of compliments. One thing I noticed is that my first 2 pairs were my normal size of 9 1/2 but the last pair Iblack, I ordered a 9 1/2 but it seemed a little short so I returned for a 10 and it's fine. I'm happy with these shoes and will wear them often.

Good looking shoes, specially in this particular color. They were bought as a gift for a highly deserving lady who, upon wearing them for a day, acknowledged her sentiments with a radiant smile. Said they could go either way, casual or dress up, for they look good with different outfits. She is happy, and that is all that matters. On an additional note, the picture of these shoes, led me to believe they were like slip ons, no shoe laces to contend with, but apparently I imagine it incorrectly. Still, some may agree with me, and some will discover they must be shoe laced. 4 Stars.

These shoes are so funky looking that they are cute. The footbed is fabulous for my high arches. I have had multiple stress fractures in my feet and need a supportive shoe with extra room in the toe box. These are very comfortable but a little loose on top due to the stretchy knit. I think they will do well for shorter walks. The blue color is a perfect neutral. Love that I can throw them in the washing machine!
