This shoe runs small. Do not understand why so many people marked that it ran big. The toe box and the heel are too small. I could tell right away there would be a problem because even the box looked too short. Normally w/ a shoe this style, I size down or have to wear an insert at the ball of the foot to prevent stepping out of shoe. Too small. Wish I would not have relied on 66%. I felt shoe was half size larger than marked. So untrue.

The overall style is really cute. The sole of the shoe is very comfortable. The only minor problem is that the top rim is a bit hard and uncomfortable. I hope with time, this will soften, so will still keep it.

Very cute and comfortable; I got lots of complements on the color. Wore them out of the box for a full day, with no trouble or break-in period.

The shoe was very cute and looked like the picture, but felt like it was a size too small. I couldn't even get it on at all.

Very cute shoe - lots of room in the toe box; however, the top of the shoe is very tight against the foot. Definitely needs a break-in period. I wore them for eight hours the first day, but will need to limit wearing to a couple of hours at a time until the top softens a little against my foot.

These shoes are so adorable, and I wanted so badly for them to fit, but they just didn't. They pressed on the sides of my big toes, which may just be an issue with my individual feet, but more significantly, the flex in these shoes (and other similar Hush Puppies styles built on this same sole\/last style) is behind the ball of the foot, which is terrible for proper arch support. But for those who do not need arch support or a wide toe box, these shoes are extremely cute and are otherwise soft and comfortable.

Cute shoe but very disappointed in the fit. I almost always wear an 11 wide (sometimes 10 wide) and I could barely get the shoe on!! Sold out in 12 wide and 11 extra wide in both Black and Red. Thank you Zappos for the Free Shipping. I'll try a different size when they're back in stock. Wish there was a Navy too.

They are tight across the top which I didn't realize until after I tossed the box. They seem more like plastic than leather and are very stiff. I am hoping that they will break in rather quickly.

Such a nice looking shoe, with comfortable support. I ordered a 9.5N and a 10N, and the 9.5 fit the best. However, as soon as I tried on the shoe, I could tell that my heel would be rubbed raw due to the stiffness of the leather. This was the case even with the slightly larger 10. I don't think they would be easily broken in, and I knew I would dread wearing them if I kept them, even though they were perfect in any other way. So disappointing as it is difficult to find narrow shoes!

Was really excited about getting some practical but funky shoes, and had good luck with Hush Puppies before, but the toe box was too small on these.

These shoes have a beautiful shade of red, and I really want shoes in this color. Unfortunately, even though I ordered the extra wide pair, they still were a bit tight across the top of my feet. The toes also point up more dramatically than I'd like.

This shoe is the perfect color and has a nice cushiony heel, but the shoe itself was stiff and boxy. They gave me blisters the first day I wore them.

Had to return these--not good for my high-arched feet (pes cavus.) Low-sloping toe box (top almost parallel to sole) pinched top of foot just in front of instep when walking. Width was OK. Would probably fit great if the toe box was sloped more steeply.

I thought I could live with thee shoes if they fit and were comfortable. Wrong. They are hideous. Also not so comfortable. I ordered the 7 and 7.5 in extra wide. The width was great but the 7.5 was too big and even the 7 was a little roomy in the back, but not so roomy that a 6.5 would fit.

The shoes are cute and I do wear them. The front edge cuts less and less into my foot each time I wear them do to the rest of the shoe stretching. I wear a narrow and the front is quite narrow and yet the heel still slips off my foot. Is that me? probably, but still I was surprised by the very tight toes and the looser heel.

I found these to be uncomfortable; the top part digs in like other reviewers said--maybe due to that uplifted toe thing. It's too bad. They look very cute and you'd think this style would be comfy, but I couldn't wait to take them off my feet. I'm returning.

The HP Burlesque was OK, but too short, and the toe box curves up in a way that is uncomfortable and looks odd. It was nice and narrow, and seemed like it might be comfortable, but the toe box made me send it back. I appreciate Zappos' great service, I received this one day after ordering!

I have bought other hush puppies similar in style to these and they were very comfortable. These however hurt my feet. They are tight. I kept them hoping they will stretch out the more I wear them.

I was surprised to find that these shoes squeaked when I put them on. It was too distracting to ignore.

I went back and forth over whether to return these and decided they have to go back. They are cute and the fit is pretty right on, but they gap in the ankle and instep area. I often have that problem with shoes that don\'t come up high enough on the foot, and it\'s pretty unattractive. Also, though, I have to agree with the other reviewers who commented on the feel of the leather. These shoes are not soft. The footbed and the sole of the shoe are great, but the leather upper is much too stiff and hard for shoes of this price. Too bad, because they really are cute.

This shoe was almost comfortable. It cut into the top of my foot, and the leather is not quite soft enough for me to feel that it would "break in" comfortably over time. I ended up returning it.

I was looking for flats to wear to work as everyday shoes. Nice looking enough for a dressed office, but without a heel. These looked fine for that, but comfort is not so good. At first I thought they were perfect, and once I broke them in and they stopped rubbing a blister at the back of my heel, then they'd be great. But when they broke in, they started to press on the tendon on top of my big toe (they didn't press there when I first tried them on). You know the tendon I mean? Flex your big toe upward and you'll see it stick out. So they pressed a bruise into the top of my toe and it became so sensitive that I couldn't wear any shoes that touched that spot on top of my toe. Now I am just hoping that I'll be able to get some use out of them, without wearing a bruise into my toe each time. And, I have to start my search for the ideal black flat for work over again. Maybe your foot is shaped different than mine and they won't hit that spot on your toe. I wish they were more comfortable for me, because then they'd be perfect.

Beautiful shoe, especially in the tan. Unfortunately, had to send back. The front of the shoe dipped down slightly and cut into my instep. Too bad! It also runs about a half size small.

Had to order a size smaller to get shoe to stay on foot. However, insole still very lumpy/bumpy. Can't imagine walking all day in this shoe so I am returning it.
