I like these boots a lot. One thing is, and it's a good thing, is that the boot shaft becomes even softer and more supple over time. I like these boots so much, I'm ordering at least two more pairs, because I wear them all the time!

Beautiful and stylish boots. Very comfortable and well made. The size was good, keep in mind that the toe area is a bit pointed and fits snuggly but ok.

My husband wanted a pair red shoes just like the pope, so I ordered these. Not only are they so very comfortable they are very well made. My husband's feet are complicated to fit, he says that they are the most comfortable shoes he has. Believe me if he says that it is true, since he has 64 pair of shoes.

I found the shoes were better than I expected. The leather used was the best and the workmanship was great. I couldn't wear them because of my narrow feet and heels were just a bit too high.

Outstanding service. The medium width is a little tight but these will stretch a little since they appear to be good leather. As long as I wear thinner socks they are fine. I normally wear a D with if this helps.

The consummate 1960s Beatle boot. Wanted a pair since then. My Dad wouldn't buy them for me. Bought them on a whim. Now I just have to figure out when and where I can wear them!

I have wide feet but perfect for me. Not big. It's not super tight. It's just what type of shoes I wanted.

I was searching for a dress boot in size 14, not an easy thing to do. Zappos not only had an easy web site but also the product. And they shipped it overnight at no additional cost. These folks will see more of my business for sure.

I love these shoes they feel great on your feet and your feet don't get sore after hours of having them on and good looking too.

These are exactly what I was looking for. They are great for casual or dress occasions. The size was perfect. The price was excellent for the quality

I absolutely love the style of these boots and the materials, especially the leather, are great. My only complaint, and why I reviewed them as being a bit small and narrow, was because they narrow down to a pointed toe very quickly. I ordered a wide size in my usual size 13 and the area around the ball of my foot is fine. These have a bit higher heel and that tends to push my foot forward into the pointed toe region. It’s not a deal breaker and they haven’t full been broken in, so I expect it to get better. Just a heads-up to future buyers.

My husband ordered these in a 9, 9.5 and 10 to try on. He kept the 9.5 (his usual size) and put in a 3/4 mid sole insert to better support his arches and the fit was just right. Luckily he received a size that worked because the 9's box only contained ONE shoe!

Good value

These look great and are really comfortable. The cuban heel is 2" and doesn't feel too tall or unsteady. I'm on my feet most of the day and walk about 6 miles a day and they are comfortable all day long.

I ordered these shoes in a 10, but I had to return them because that was too narrow. I ordered a full 1½ sizes larger and that fit perfectly. I am flat footed and the arch support is perfect for my back problems. Zappos was very professional, friendly and human in doing the exchange. No hassle, problems or return issues. They have the old school mentality when it comes to customer service - actually treating you like a human!

These are the best and most stylish boots that I have bought recently. I get great compliments from the ladys and the guys who wished they owned a pair! I told them where to buy one!

I love Zappos, everything you order comes quickly & efficiently. The boots were comfortable and just as pictured. The toes, however, are very pointed so if that's not your style beware!

Too narrow. Heel was high

The price is right. The shoe fits reasonably well. looks as represented in photos. Top of boot is narrow and hits my foreleg as I walk ( hurts) The"look" of the boot is not what I am looking for. too many pieces of leather. Not very dressy. Would gladly pay 2x more for this boot if it looked better.

These are pretty ok boots. They're not as great as I had wanted them to be. The leather on the insole is wrinkled and that bugs the hell out of me. The leather feels kinda cheap from the money. The toes of the shoe is much pointier than I thought it'd be. And worst of all the top edge on the interior is very sharp and rough, so be sure to wear tall socks.

The "genuine leather" on the soles is legitimately a fraction of an inch thick and is almost completely rubbed off after day 2 of wearing these shoes. Also, the soles inside the shoes are defective in that the label under the heel is merely sewn on the short ends and slides when you walk, thus stretching the inner sole until it tears and bunches up causing horrible pressure points.

I ordered this boot because I wanted to create a modern Beatle-like outfit for myself. I chose this one over the others on Zappos because it had the best looking heel and front shaping. When I got the boots I was excited to try them out, but I was a little disappointed. 1) Right from the get-go, you'll notice that the high-top opening is too big, even while zipped closed. So when you wear them, the opening will always have a noticeable gap between the material and your skin (leg). This is a problem because if you're wearing tailored drainpipe trousers (slim fit pants), the boots won't blend. You will either have to tuck your pants into the opening or stretch the pants over the boot. 2) Then you will notice how awkward it is to walk in them. They are very stiff, so you will feel like you're wearing high heels. Not only that, there is no grip. So imagine walking in high heels on ice. I am 6'4", so it looks very awkward when I walk i these because I feel like a tree about to go "Timber!" 3) While you're trying to get used to walking on ice, you will look down at your feet and notice that the boot ripples a lot. So instead of your boots looking sharp and sleek, the will look tacky and mushy. The sole of the shoe is narrow, but the material is wide just as I mentioned on my first bullet point. 4) Lastly, I found the material to be too "matte" looking. At first, I didn't want the shoe to be dark and shiny, but after seeing how the shoes contrast with pants, I wish they were more like "tuxedo shoes". I personally suggest considering the other boots on Zappos similar to this one. 1) Invest in a boot with the elastic opening, so you will get a more tailored fit compared to the zipper. 2) Make sure the boot has grip. If you're tall like me, look for slightly smaller heels than this one. 3) Make sure the boot has stiffer material to maintain tailored look. 4) Go for dark and shiny material to get that professional look. I hope this helps anyone looking at this boot!
