These are wonderful, stylish, comfortable shoes. Great for working on a Total Gym, where regular sized soles (unlike wonderful but thick MBT soles) are necessary to allow feet to fit into parts of the equipment. I would surmise that the shoes are true to size for younger feet. Older feet become larger over time and develop things . . . like bunions . . . so one has to make adjustments. I ordered a women's size 9 that were a tad tight and exchanged for a women's size 9.5, which worked much better, especially if one is wearing socks.
