I will start with I love that The North Face makes ski pants that don't have too much extra thigh space. Unfortunately these went a little too far the other way. I am 5'4", 120lbs and the waist and length were great but the thigh/butt were too tight in the small I also bought a pair of the NFZ Pant in a small and they fit great through the thigh/butt. I was also disappointed with the thigh pocket. Although it would hold your items securely it makes them difficult to access quickly. I use these as work pants at a ski area and wanted the thigh pocket for easy access to employee schedules and my phone. But, the pocket is too difficult to access quickly (con for me, pro for valuables:)

Vans have always run very small but when I saw that they were available in 13 I thought that I could once again wear Vans. The last time that I was able to find Vans was when I was 12 and wore a Mens size 12 but even their size 13 is still too small. And their color choice for larger sizes is very limited in other styles. Sadly I will have to switch brands and see if another company has better sizing and selection for bigger feet.

These shoes look dope, the suede and the color and overall design are great. However, they are not comfortable at all, I bought them to replace some Supras that had worn our and honestly the Supras which are missing over half the sole are still more comfortable. Flattest shoes ever and they rub up on my ankle all the time.
I'd also recommend:

Felt a bit wide, but otherwise true to size. Very masculine style. Did not like the look at all.

I have instructed in these ski pants for the past 3 seasons and so far they have held up exceptionally well except for around the boot guard where the stitching has fallen apart for the past 2 seasons and every attempt I have made to fix it have failed. It maintains it's water resistance up until the heaviest rain and several lift rides. I do like the front thigh pocket and the ventalation is above average. Overall for the price a good ski pant that will last a few seasons.

I really liked the look of these Vans. Classic with attention to detail. Looks are not everything, comfort is most important. After wearing these for a day, my feet hurt so bad, I could hardly walk without being in a lot of pain. These are not true to size, so I can't understand the reviewers who wrote the size was true. If you plan to buy these Vans, plan to order the next size up. I have been a 12D as long as i can remember, so back to to the store they go to try 13D...

I had my eye on these for months, finally purchased and ended up returning. They flex weird and pinch down on my toes, cut into my heels and run small. The other vans I purchased fit like a glove and I love them. Disappointed in these.

The shoes look nice and feel sturdy but they are VERY narrow. I first bought them in a men's 8.5 but found they were too big even though other Vans shoes fit me in that size. I rebought them in a size 8, and although they fit better in the toe, they were too narrow and tight on the sides of my feet and toes.

I wanted to love these. The floral design is beautiful. But that piece on the heel rubs the back of your foot until it's bleeding. Also, after ONE wash in cold water the colors from the inside bled through to the white. So now not only are they uncomfortable they're spotted and stained.

I wanted to like this shoe but they didn't work out for me. They are a little snug, the laces don't come up very high, and the sides of the shoe are weirdly low. I also bought the vans exorange and those feel like clouds on my feet compared to these.

These shoes look really nice but the only possible way to wear them is by putting bandaids on the back of your heels which then ruins the look of the shoes

The shoes is fine except that I've always used size 13 but this time it just did not work. Seems like I needed 13.5 in that shoe type. Very disappointing.

The pictures AND the video make these shoes seem like the laces aren't your typical tie laces but they do in fact require you to tie the laces. I thought they might be slip on shoes with elastic laces. Very deceiving.

I thought I was going to love these shoes and wear them all the time. However, they destroyed the back of my ankle and teared the skin off. Won't purchase again. I will also be returning...

Liked the look but the heel rubbed and made the shoe unwearable. Had to quickly return and wouldn't recommend. I feel like Vans used to be a solid, super comfortable shoe but I have not been impressed lately and have tried numerous different styles.

The tongue does not have any cushion and is a harder material so it doesn't feel good when it hits your ankle. There is also zero support. They were not pleasant to walk in at all because of these two things. I would try Van's Comfycush line if you have to have these but need some support, or at least that's what I've heard.

Love the style but they wore out after less than a year. Second pair of Vans to do this. No more for me.

These shoes are weirdly clumsy feeling. The plastic tongue and plastic decoration at the back of the heel are rigid, and in places where a shoe should be pliant, these are stiff. An uncomfortable shoe.

I bought these pants to use as "summit pants" as an outer shell over base layer and light hiking pants on summit night on Mt. Kilimanjaro. The pants fit to size, fit very well as shell over the other two layers, were warm, well designed with pockets and blocked cold wind and were very flexible and functional. However, after hiking to summit and then descending back to base camp the inner angle areas on both the left and right legs of the pants had worn holes right in front of the kick patches. The fabric did not hold up at all to the trekking. There was no extraordinary wear other than simply hiking up and down that single day. I may replace these with the NFZ Pants as they are a different fabric that may hold up better. I want to commend The North Face warranty department for working with me and providing an e-gift card in the full amount I spent on these pants since they did not hold up. Disappointed in the pants but continued support of The North Face!

I used it in the office for work, and I thought it was great at first. Unfortunately, only after 3 months of use, the sole started separating from the shoe and now I have a gap and a small hole in the fabric. I also stand a lot in front of my computer and there is very little arch support in these shoes. Seemed like a great buy at first but I regret buying these now. Look at another shoe to invest in if you want ones that can last. Again, I just used these in the office where I'm in front of a computer for a majority of the day. Did very little recreational walking in these to give you an idea.

The padding between the laces and top of your foot is really thin. It caused the top of my foot to get scared after just a few days of wearing.

I've had these shoes for about three months and they initially looked and felt great, save one issue: The tip of the shoe has an inside lining at the top that fell apart within the first month. The lining now acts like a flap that constantly irritates my toes. I can't wear them anymore for this reason.
