The shoe is great. I did order a 1/2 size larger as suggestion with the other reviews and they fit perfect. They are holding up well, my feet don't hurt at the end of the day and I did not have to add an insole cushion, as I did with other shoes. I love Ariat, they have great shoes. You won't be sorry if you buy this pair.

Once you get to size 10 and over most shoes look enormous and clunky. Even people with large feet like to look fashionable. These shoes look great! Appear to be well made. Slipped them on after their quick arrival and they felt great. Haven’t had them long enough to say more, but I am very pleased so far. Ordered 1 size smaller .... and it’s a good fit, gave it a 4 on comfort because I have not worn it long enough for an honest assessment.

Just received my second pair of these boots, my old ones are now relegated to muddier jobs in the garden. I just love them. I normally wear a 9N, and the 8.5M works great for me with a heavier pair of socks. I did need to use a bit of moleskin in the back of the left heel this time, but it won't take long at all for these to be just as comfy as my first pair. As before, these will be my everyday footwear during the PNW autumn and winter. Supportive, comfortable, waterproof...everything this active woman needs.

These are great boots with excellent arch support. I have a narrow foot and they fit really well. They felt comfortable right out of the box. I did not keep them because I was looking for something with a better tread for hiking. These boots would make a great walking or work boot and I love that they are waterproof. I ordered up a half size from my normal street shoe size to accommodate thicker socks and the boots fit perfectly.

I have arthritis in my feet and need to be super careful with shoes and boots. Ariat is one of my go-to brands, and when I needed some boots for light snow, I found these. Comfortable enough to wear all the time.

This is the second pair of Ariat Terrain H2O boots that I have purchased. The first pair I bought over 2 years ago, they are still waterproof, but kind of look like they have been used a lot. lol I bought the second pair to wear to work. Took them out of the box and wore them to work, no break in time needed. I am on concrete for 8 hours and these are my go to shoes. FYI.............I had to reorder in a half a size smaller. The correct size (8) got to me before I ever shipped the too large size (8.5) back. Thanks Zappos for making returns so easy.

Live these boots. I ordered a size 8 and my foot is a little on the wide side. They fit perfectly and were comfortable. I wore every day on Yellowstone trip. Worth the investment

These are the most comfortable hiking boots I’ve ever worn. It is hard to find shoes that don’t aggravate my tendency towards plantar fasciitis, or my tender toes, or generally temperamental, tender feet. I’ve actually never found hiking boots that didn’t either hurt my feet or my ankles. I’ve tried. My first thought when trying these on was “wow”. They are extremely cushioned and comfortable, and not too stiff in the ankles. They have a nice amount of give. I’ve had them on all weekend, camping, at about 12,000 steps daily. My feet are fine. If I could make two changes, I’d add a tiny bit more arch support, and make the sole-to-heel transition less than a 90 degree angle (I caught my heel on something a couple of times but that is just me). These are amazing boots and I wish I found them years ago.

I wear these boots every day for anywhere from a couple of hours to the whole day. They are comfortable and aren’t unbearably hot in the summer, they way a lot of waterproof shoes are. They keep my feet dry when washing my horse, but they are starting to show some signs of wear after a little less than a year, but are still useable and waterproof.

I would love to have kept these boots but I have a AA foot and even cinching the laces tight they are too wide for my heel.
