Have two pair for myself and bought for my mom for Christmas. The hard bottom is nice for quickly running outside, but should be used as an inside shoe based on style. Very warm and cozy. Size up one.

Love these! I got my normal size 8. They were a bit snug in the beginning (as all of my other Ugg boots have been), but they have already stretched out perfectly to form to my foot in just a couple of wears. Don’t ever want to take them off!!

I wanted to find a good fit. One was too small; one was too large. Oh, how I wish there were half sizes. These slippers were a work of art. The attention to detail was well noted. The color was beautiful.

Love these slippers. I typically wear between an 8 and 8.5 and have narrow feet. Other Ugg shoes (not boots) sometimes slip off my heels but I got an 8 in these and they're great. Very cozy.

My husband got me these first in a size 7. The reviews are so mixed (they run small, they run large) that it was hard to decide so I got 6's and 7's in both the Dakotas and the Ansleys (similar style but no ties) to compare as I would have tried in a store. I normally take a 6 but often enough the style or sizing of a shoe needs a 6.5. For myself, the Ansleys didn't feel quite right (my daughter has a pair and prefers their fit). The Dakota 7's felt comfortable except a slight lifting at the heel but knowing the wool would tamp down I was reluctant to rely on that "first fit". I wore the 6's around the house for a bit...they were pretty snug but not in any particular place, my toe didn't rub the end, and they felt better after a few hours so that is the one I kept. They are still a bit snug but not uncomfortable and I'm sure they will be just fine moving forward. Like many clothes these days, if you have 5 of something in one size, they won't all fit exactly the same...it seems the same would be said of the slippers so perhaps that is why the reviews are so inconsistent. The most important thing to remember about wool lined slippers is that they WILL tamp down and be roomier after some time has passed.

The perfect slipper to outside shoe! Cozy but substantial enough to wear out of the house without looking too slipper-y.

I love these slippers! It’s the first time I wore a style like this and I’m so glad I purchased them. They’re so soft and comfy inside but most importantly they bend beautifully as you walk. I wear a size 9 or 9 1/2 so I ordered a size 10 originally. They wouldn’t stay on my feet so I ordered a 9, which felt super snug. I’ve been wearing the 9 for 4 days now and they stretched just enough to fit perfectly. Thank you for the prompt and easy returns Zappos. Your customer service is unsurpassed!

Love these slippers and they were replacing ugg slippers I had for years. I have to order a half size up for these though.

Feels super cozy and protects you from the harsh winter by keeping your feet warm and snug. Looks beautiful and also I got them st z good price. Happy with the purchase, it’s been a pleasure!

I love Dakota UGGs but didn't check the size before I ordered this year's pair. (This is my 3rd pair, 3rd color.) The quality seems to have held up, which is refreshing, but I normally wear an 8.5 or 9, med width, so I ordered the 9. Way too big. Heels slipped out. Returned and promptly received an 8 in exchange which is perfect. So going half size down from your normal size is the trick to a good fit (which I realized when I looked at last year's pair which was also an 8). There is very little arch support, which doesn't bother me thanks to my high arches. Love all the colors, love getting a new pair with the super soft lining, although I'll still wear last year's very worn pair for awhile (which I've worn outside, running to do something in the yard, so they were not as gently treated as they could have been.

I bought these slippers for myself for Christmas. I LOVE THEM. I don’t have other Uggs so I’m not sure if their sizing is always like this, but I needed to go up a size. I’m normally size 8 but could barely cram my feet in. Exchanged for 9’s and they fit great. At first the heel area was loose (I have pretty narrow feet), but the slippers seem to have conformed to my feet quickly.

I love these slippers. They are warm and comfortable.
