Mas o Menos... This shoe is a trade off -
Okay so the Ugg Dakota is comfortable. BUT there is a little tag on the inside that says Ugg and you can definitely feel it. Also it looks great in the picture, but makes the foot look wide and doesn’t look great with anything but jeans. The shoe is very comfy but has its drawbacks.

Great shoe!
I bought these shoes a year ago and I still love them! I wear them as an everyday shoe in the winter and they have held up pretty well. They have stretched out a little over time, but they are certainly still wearable. I love the fleece lining, they keep my usually freezing feet warm.

Ugg Dakota -
These shoes were comfortable but were bulkier than I expected. For those of you that have small feet children's has the same shoe (only in chestnut) and runs up to a women's size 7 (size 5 in children's). This way you save $30. I'm not sure how they are going to fare outside yet...

Sizing is off -
I wear a size 6, sometimes 6.5 in running shoes, and ordered a 6 in these. I loved the feel of the shearling, and esp. loved the look of the shoe from the sides. The top seemed flat and "nursing-home- slipper-y" to me at first, but the bright blue laces against the deep brown definitely grew on me the more I looked at them. However, they were way too big from the beginning. My heel slipped every time, and since I knew the fleece would only flatten with time, decided I needed to exchange them, so we shall see when a size 5 comes. Overall I gave them a 4 since they are a bit pricey, I think, but very cute nonetheless!

Overall...4 stars.
Ok so...these are fairly true to size, maybe slightly big. These ARE NOT for wider feet, these will work best with narrow feet. Mine are a bit tight and I could have gone up a size but the fleece is new and will flatten as I break them in. The coffee w/blue trim is quite nice...because mine are a little tight, the side stitching on one side of the right shoe came loose on one end, but I EASILY repaired it with a little superglue and so far they're good now. That is my fault though because I didn't order a size up. My feet are narrower than most so these are comfy to me. Not my favorite pair of Uggs, but cute nonetheless. One bad thing...they DO smell REALLY bad like a farm animal for a while...this seems to happen when the fleece is laminated to the cowhide suede rather than twin faced sheepskin...goes away though.

Room for Improvement -
I fell in love with shearling-lined slippers upon receiving a pair many years ago. When it came time for replacement, my husband purchased the Ugg Dakotas for me for Christmas. I almost returned them right away because of how tight they felt on my foot, but am glad that I gave them a try. The slippers stretched out nicely and they are super-cozy (but that is more a function of the shearling than this particular slipper). After wearing the Dakota's non-stop around the house for two months, I still have two problems: (1) The darn laces simply will not stay tied. This makes the slipper look "messy" and I am continually stepping on the untied laces; and (2) The top of the slipper does not come high enough up in the foot. As a result, while the rest of my foot is toasty warm, the tops of my feet are still chilly. I've decided that most reviewers must give such glowing remarks about this slipper because it is their first experience with shearling. A shearling slipper will blow any standard slipper out of the water on comfort and warmth. Compared to other shearling slippers, though, I am not convinced that this is the best one available.

LOVE these shoes!!
These shoes are SO adorable! I bought a pair for myself and they are very comfortable. I think the bigger the shoe gets the bigger the tip part gets, so since I wear a size 10 or 11 shoes, they are a little bit pointier and longer than they look in the picture. Also, when you first buy them they may seem a little tight, but I think that is only because you haven't worn down the fur yet. After I had them for a while they seemed to fit better and better. They look really good with jeans, or sweats or flannel pants... Really anything! I'd say if your a 9 1/2 or 8 1/2 then go up a size, but if you're a 9 or 8 I think (since they don’t come in half sizes) that I WOULDN'T go up a whole size. LOVE THESE SHOES!

The Bellas are cuter. Too bad there's never any in stock. These are snug. I guess I'll have to break them in, but they're cute mocs.

Warm and supportive too -
Comfortable, a bit snug at first wear but conforms to foot nicely. Warm, and can be used as more of shoe as well as slipper.
My only complaint is that the ties rarely stay tied.

I was really hoping to like these moccasins but they kept pinching my toes on the left foot so I returned them.

Ugg has definitely been falling off with regards to the quality of their products. This is the 4th pair of Dakota I am purchasing as they have been my go to shoes for over 10 years, but this one did not live up to my expectations. it was not as plush as I am accustomed to from all the previous ones I've owned. I will be returning.

I am replacing worn slippers. The new slippers seem to use a poor quality leather.

I recently purchased the Dakota moccasins. I purchased a pair about 8 years ago. I was sad to have to let them go but they were pretty worn. This pair is definitely not the same quality shearling inside. My old ones were much more plush and the leather does not seem to be the same quality either. I was so excited to get a new pair since they have always been my favorite. Sad to say not anymore.

I have been wearing my Ansleys as true slippers for three years, and I have loved them to near-death (seriously, they're just gross now). I ordered the Dakotas to replace them, and as soon as I took them out of the box, I could tell that the lining just wasn't the same. When I put them on, I could feel the difference, too. It took me days to wear down the lining of my Ansleys to where they didn't feel tight. It took about 5 minutes for the lining in my Dakotas to smoosh down. I get it--sustainability. It's just a bummer.
Sizing-wise, I'm a 9.5 in street shoes. All of my Ugg boots are a size 9. In the Tazz, I had to size up to a 10, but in the Dakota, I had to size down to a 9.

I love Ugg products but their quality has visibly decreased. The sheepskin lining on the shoes is thin and not what it used to be in past slippers that I have bought. The main reason I buy Uggs is their lining, which keeps my feet warm during cold winters. Uggs are not cheap shoes so there is no reason for this quality failure. If it continues, I will have to find another brand.

They are very nice looking but very tight. I never thought slippers would be too narrow for me but these are.
I had to untie the laces to widen the top. I have a feeling they will stretch a bit over time. But I was a bit disappointed by the fit

Wife loves the comfort. Not a fan of the heel of shoe though. The tread doesn't completely surround the heel of shoe causing significant wearing/tearing on the "fabric heel" portion. This happened after two short wears. She has high arch feet. Btw

I’ve had several pairs of these UGGs over the years and just ordered a new pair. The negative review that said the heal slips is correct. My left heal slips in the new UGGs. This has never happened to me before. It has to be a quality control problem because it only slips on my left foot. This right shoe feels like my old UGG slippers. I’ll probably keep them but I’m disappointed.

Have to say I'm disappointed with this Ugg slipper. I wear a 7.5 to 8.5 and ordered a size women's 9, however, when I tried on the size 9 because bi remembered the same size issue with my last pair I ordered in 2015, and they fit perfectly and also had more padding thicker in the footbed but these slippers are semi tight so definitely order a size up.
