Comfy slippers. My biggest complaint is that the laces keep coming untied, to the point where it's annoying and I wish I bought a different pair without laces.

Very cute shoes. I love these shoes- they are warm, comfy, and super cute. They look great with jeans. They are true to size on me. I took off one star because the stitching on the top of the shoe unraveled even when I had only worn the shoes around the house. Luckily Zappos sent me a new pair (I LOVE ZAPPOS!), so hopefully those stay intact.

Ugg = Comfort - I purchased these Uggs for my daughter. As far as comfort goes, they are wonderful. As stated in some other reviews, the leather ties do not stayed tied. No matter how you tie them, they come undone. She picked the tobacco color, they are pretty, but a darker color would have been a better choice just because they do get dirty easy. Overall great comfort, would purchase again.

UGG slippers - Would be comfortable, but not wide enough - I thought they would be the same type fit as UGG boots, but were much narrower and tighter in the toes.

These are incredibly comfy and warm slippers; however, the shoelaces, no matter how many times you double knot them, will come undone ALL THE TIME. This makes for some near face-plants on a regular basis.

I just got my boots in the mail today. They are really cute and functional for the rain in NY. The only problem is that they are too big. I should have listened and went a size down. Zappos is sending me out a replacement on Monday. Oh, I have bigger calves and they fit great!

Great slipper, not much support to wear as a shoe all day, but it is perfect for picking the kids up from school.

I was really pleased with how quickly these were delivered and I have been wearing them daily now that the weather is cooling. I think I expected them to be more comfortable, but it may have been an unreal expectation after hearing about Uggs for so long. The soles are great, good for around the house or for when I need to run out in the driveway or drop the kids at school in my PJ's. I would buy them again but the price tag is a little hefty for slippers.

Ugg Dakota review - These felt true to size and are very comfortable. I would highly recommend it to anyone who is an Ugg fan.

Worth the price - I love the Dakota. Deserves 5 stars, but the constant untying of the laces brings it down to 4. I really like this slipper, very comfortable, true to size fit, but the laces are really a nuisance.

Uggs Dakota - IN A NUTSHELL: If you are between sizes, definitely order a size down. Zappos service is incredible- if you are going to order these shoes, especially if you aren't 100% sure on your size, order from Zappos. Comfortable shoes that are somewhat fashionable- but not perfect. DETAILS- I am anywhere from size 8-9. Usually I am closer to the 9, so when I ordered these shoes I got a 9. They were too roomy in the back and so I returned them to Zappos for NO charge, to be replaced with the size 8 for NO charge. I couldn't believe it- Zappos sent me my new pair before asking for the old ones back- I had them both in my house and could compare them back and forth, and sent the 9s back. Zappos is incredible- if you order these shoes, or any shoes, ORDER FROM ZAPPOS. Both of my sizes came the day after I ordered them, and you can return/exchange them for no charge. Incredible. Very impressed. Onto the shoes themselves. Yes, they are comfortable. Very comfortable. I have never been a fan of Ugg shoes, ever, but purchased these shoes to wear on my approaching trip to Europe, knowing I would need warm, comfortable shoes to wear. I can say that if I wasn't going on the trip/didn't need comfortable shoes, I wouldn't have paid for these shoes, even after knowing how comfortable they truly are. They are just too expensive. But if you are able to pay it- they could very well be worth it for you. PROS- soft, warm, comfortable, somewhat fashionable, trendy. CONS- a little bulky and awkward looking, the "Ugg" tag on the inside of the shoe scrapes your foot a little bit and is annoying. If you want a comfortable shoe but aren't keen on the price, DON'T just settle for these shoes. There are other ones like it that are probably comparable in comfort but far cheaper. Look around before splurging especially if you are having doubts.

Ugg Review - This shoe is so comfortable it's like walking on a cloud. It is very snug though and I recommend you get a size bigger than usual or you may find it very tight.

Mas o Menos... This shoe is a trade off - Okay so the Ugg Dakota is comfortable. BUT there is a little tag on the inside that says Ugg and you can definitely feel it. Also it looks great in the picture, but makes the foot look wide and doesn’t look great with anything but jeans. The shoe is very comfy but has its drawbacks.

Great shoe! I bought these shoes a year ago and I still love them! I wear them as an everyday shoe in the winter and they have held up pretty well. They have stretched out a little over time, but they are certainly still wearable. I love the fleece lining, they keep my usually freezing feet warm.

Ugg Dakota - These shoes were comfortable but were bulkier than I expected. For those of you that have small feet children's has the same shoe (only in chestnut) and runs up to a women's size 7 (size 5 in children's). This way you save $30. I'm not sure how they are going to fare outside yet...

Sizing is off - I wear a size 6, sometimes 6.5 in running shoes, and ordered a 6 in these. I loved the feel of the shearling, and esp. loved the look of the shoe from the sides. The top seemed flat and "nursing-home- slipper-y" to me at first, but the bright blue laces against the deep brown definitely grew on me the more I looked at them. However, they were way too big from the beginning. My heel slipped every time, and since I knew the fleece would only flatten with time, decided I needed to exchange them, so we shall see when a size 5 comes. Overall I gave them a 4 since they are a bit pricey, I think, but very cute nonetheless!

Overall...4 stars. Ok so...these are fairly true to size, maybe slightly big. These ARE NOT for wider feet, these will work best with narrow feet. Mine are a bit tight and I could have gone up a size but the fleece is new and will flatten as I break them in. The coffee w/blue trim is quite nice...because mine are a little tight, the side stitching on one side of the right shoe came loose on one end, but I EASILY repaired it with a little superglue and so far they're good now. That is my fault though because I didn't order a size up. My feet are narrower than most so these are comfy to me. Not my favorite pair of Uggs, but cute nonetheless. One bad thing...they DO smell REALLY bad like a farm animal for a while...this seems to happen when the fleece is laminated to the cowhide suede rather than twin faced sheepskin...goes away though.

Room for Improvement - I fell in love with shearling-lined slippers upon receiving a pair many years ago. When it came time for replacement, my husband purchased the Ugg Dakotas for me for Christmas. I almost returned them right away because of how tight they felt on my foot, but am glad that I gave them a try. The slippers stretched out nicely and they are super-cozy (but that is more a function of the shearling than this particular slipper). After wearing the Dakota's non-stop around the house for two months, I still have two problems: (1) The darn laces simply will not stay tied. This makes the slipper look "messy" and I am continually stepping on the untied laces; and (2) The top of the slipper does not come high enough up in the foot. As a result, while the rest of my foot is toasty warm, the tops of my feet are still chilly. I've decided that most reviewers must give such glowing remarks about this slipper because it is their first experience with shearling. A shearling slipper will blow any standard slipper out of the water on comfort and warmth. Compared to other shearling slippers, though, I am not convinced that this is the best one available.

LOVE these shoes!! These shoes are SO adorable! I bought a pair for myself and they are very comfortable. I think the bigger the shoe gets the bigger the tip part gets, so since I wear a size 10 or 11 shoes, they are a little bit pointier and longer than they look in the picture. Also, when you first buy them they may seem a little tight, but I think that is only because you haven't worn down the fur yet. After I had them for a while they seemed to fit better and better. They look really good with jeans, or sweats or flannel pants... Really anything! I'd say if your a 9 1/2 or 8 1/2 then go up a size, but if you're a 9 or 8 I think (since they don’t come in half sizes) that I WOULDN'T go up a whole size. LOVE THESE SHOES!

The Bellas are cuter. Too bad there's never any in stock. These are snug. I guess I'll have to break them in, but they're cute mocs.

Warm and supportive too - Comfortable, a bit snug at first wear but conforms to foot nicely. Warm, and can be used as more of shoe as well as slipper. My only complaint is that the ties rarely stay tied.

Ugg Dakota. I just LOVE my new ugg's. They are extremely comfortable, and stylish. I would recommend this shoe to anyone who wants to be trendy and comfy at the same time. Thanks!
