This shoe is more like a slipper than a shoe, but you can definitely wear them outside! That's what I will be doing. I live in a hot, dry climate and these will be perfect all year round. I purchased these in size 7, which is my regular UGG size. I would say this shoe is a bit tight and narrow, more than usual. The length is the same though. (I do have rather wide feet!) I would recommend buying size 7 instead of 6, if you wear a 6.5 and have wide feet. The shoes are cute and comfortable. I will probable purchase it again! I also got my husband a pair of UGG Byron in chestnut color. He loved them too!

Very cute but zero arch support. I would wear them out and about but for that. Definitely run on the small size, especially for Uggs.

Very cozy and warm slippers. Bought my true size and they were a little snug at first, but after a few wears they fit perfect and formed to my foot. I highly recommend these slippers.

Comfortable, warm. A little tight in the width for me and in the toes at the top, so I removed the lining and "sheared" it down a little. Much better now and did not have to wait to mat the shearling. Plenty of fluff left.

These slippers are great and I love them. The lining feels wonderful, as always with Uggs. However I was shocked by the sizing. I normally wear a size 8, sometimes even a 7.5. I even have Ugg boots that are an 8 and fit perfectly barefoot and with socks. The 8 in these Dakotas was very tight, even barefoot! Wearing these in the 8 with socks was not an option for me, they were so tight. Both width-wise and length-wise they were just too small. I ended up ordering and keeping the 9 (I've never worn a 9 in my life) and I love them but they are too big and flop off my heels if worn without socks. I really need the 8.5 but settled on the 9 w/ no half sizes. Too big and loose better than too small and uncomfortable, I suppose. I'm shocked more people didn't rate this as running small. Just don't get it. Do wish it had a little more arch support, too. Amazing slipper though. I wear them every minute I can!

These look like a classic slipper and are super cosy. Only wish they had a little support, even with the rubber sole they are super flat.

These are too small. I followed the other suggestions and ordered my true size - the same size as my other UGGs and all my other shoes: 8 medium. I wore them a few times, for about a week, and my back hurt and toes were scrunched! They're just too small. I should have ordered a half size bigger.

They are considerably smaller than regular U.S. sizes. I have to wear a 9 due to the wideness of my "aging feet." The size 9 is at least a 1/2 size too small. I would say you have to purchase a size larger than you normally wear. I have kept mine, hoping that once the fleece flattens out, they will fit better, but I have to return my daughter's which were a gift.

I bought these for my daughter for Christmas. They were exactly what I ordered, but sometimes we wish they came in 1/2 sizes too and she loves them!

These are my first Uggs and I have wanted them for a long time. am am a size 9 and occasionally wear size 8½ but the size 9 is a little tight even wearing them barefoot. And I do not wear wide. I am going to wear them around for a while hopefully they stretch, but I would recommend ordering up if you ever wanted to wear socks.

This slipper keeps your feet really warm! If you like moccasins then you may love this one. Only one cons; the front tip is narrow, your toes may feel tight up.

These slippers are very comfy! It was quite an ordeal finding the ones that worked for me. I tried the Ansley but they were too tight in the toe box, yet my heel slipped out. So I tried the Dakota - the fit is much better, but not perfect. Ugg needs to make half sizes! The 9 is too small and the 10 is too big. I will be going with the 10, but I must return because of a defect inside the shoe. Once I get the right pair, I am sure I will love them!

I received these slippers as a gift. I've only worn them twice but they are so tight! I am normally a 7 1/2 so I got a size 8, but they are still really tight all over - especially in the toe on top and on the sides. My foot is average and narrow and I generally don't have this problem with other shoes. I'm hoping that these slippers stretch soon! They are very warm and comfy otherwise, although the top doesn't cover the top part of my foot enough. I was hoping more of my foot would be covered.

I could have used half a size larger. I read the reviews and they said they had stretched out but so far mine have not. Now I wish I would have gotten the larger size.

Great quality. I'm normally 8 1/2 but with several other Ugg boots I am an 8, so I ordered 8 in the Dakota. They felt much smaller than the other Ugg boots and I would say true to size. I am thinking I should have ordered 9 instead. After 1 day of wearing they do seem to be giving a little, so I am hoping the stretch a little more? They don't have the comfy removable insert, and the tag gets in the way so I will have to cut it out. But I'll keep them!

Love them, but had to return for a larger size. I'm a true size 8 in everything, but had to curl my toes into these; not even close.

True to size and comfy. I removed the insoles put my othodic in and put the furry insole back on top of it. Good to go. Wear them everywhere!

These slippers are the most comfy I've ever had. It's like heaven when I put them on. Even with the insulation, I'm enjoying them in the summer too. I am size 8 and a half-nine. They only come in full sizes. The nine was too big. I wish they came in half sizes. I squeeze into the 8 but it works. Love them!

Nice slipper/shoe. Size runs small!!! I bought two pairs for my daughters in their normal shoe size, but had to return them to go up a size. Very comfortable.

I bought the Dakota Mocasins as a Christmas gift for a friend. She normally wears a 7 1/2 and I got her a size 8 and they fit her perfectly! So I would suggest getting a half size bigger than what you wear. I was so relieved I didn’t need to exchange them. According to her, they are super comfy, she loves them.

I bought this pair for my Mom in a size 8; she normally wears a 7 1/2 to 8 and they fit perfect. My husband bought me same pair just with the blue leather string which was exactly what I wanted, but when I put them on I thought that the top portion felt a little tight so I went back to the store to try on the size7 display and the heel did not stay on at all so I kept my 6. Again I tried to wear them a little around the house but was still a little concerned with the fit. So I made a 3rd trip back to the store and did not try on the display model and was surprised to find out that the top portion was tight here. End result: I kept my size 6 because never in my life have I bought a size 7 and the sales lady told me they would stretch a little. I love my size 6 and glad that I didn't go a size more than I really needed to. Love all my Uggs.

Very comfortable, but not a lot of support (not good walking shoes). Fits more like a slipper. Be sure to order up as they run small. I wear them around the house and the occasional errand. Good winter shoe for FL: they are warm but not too warm and the shearling keeps your feet comfortable.

Warm slippers - I had to try 3 pair to get a workable size and color for these slippers. I wear an 8-1/2 but 8 felt cramped and 9 too large. I did not like the blue lace on the dark brown model and ended up with a white pair that I hope will stretch as I wear them.
