I FOUND my KEEPERS! These boots are fantastic, buttery soft leather, modest comfortable heel, cute, stylish and above all comfortable. I tried these boots in the extra wide calf and found them to be too roomy for me in the calf. You can't go wrong with these boots and with Zappos' GREAT free return policy I was able to exchange them with minimal annoyance. Ya just gotta love it, I would not normally have paid that price for a shoe (I can be pretty frugal) but these boots are worth every penny.

I love these boots! Received them in 2 days (thanks Zappos!) and cannot be more pleased. I even have room to tuck in my jeans. The leather is soft, fit is great and the heel is perfect for being on my feet all day. Finally, a pair of boots that fit my curves!

It has been a long time since I have had a pair of boots that covered my calf. Typically, boots were always made too small and it was an annual disappointment to try them on and realize that they wouldn't zip over my calf. Until now...the boots are beautiful pebbled leather, nicely designed, quality show and feel great! After Zappos delivered them and I tried them on....I didn't want to take them off. Take the chance and give these boots a try - It is love at first zip!!

Just received my boots today and I love, love them!! They fit my wide calves perfectly! Although I have a small foot(size6) I was so pleased Zappos carried this brand. Ladies feet and calves are not all created the same. Highly recommend especially at this price.

Loved these boots except for the size. The calf size was perfect, and just like all the reviews said, I found them to be very small in the foot size. They were both short and narrow. If you can get them, order at least a half size larger!

I have been looking for wide calf boot that fit my size 5 feet and couldn't find them anywhere. I originally ordered the extra wide and they were way too big. I just got these (thanks Zappos, for the speedy shipping) along with another pair of Fitzwell (regular calf) boots. The calf is about 16"; a bit wide for me, but the other one is about 14.5". 15.5" would have been perfect. Aside from having them custom-made, I think this is the best I'll get. The leather, stitching and heel height are nice.

First, the ability to easily find wide-shaft boots and details on exactly how wide on Zappos is outstanding. I received these boots quickly, and was thrilled from the moment I put them on. The boots are beautiful and oh so comfortable. I've never had a pair of boots I enjoyed so much. They have support and padding in the foot for extra comfort and I can stand in these without pain for long periods of time. These would even be great for a day on a trade show floor.

This is a great boot. I wore mine to work the first day and had no complaints at all. This boot does run a little long so order half a size smaller.

When I first put these boots on, they felt hard and a little tight. But as I wore them, they got more and more comfortable. They will be just about perfect with an arch support inset. I have never found boots in a store that fit. These had more than plenty of room for my wide calves. I'm very pleased!

I got these boots today. They fit perfect. I read on another website if you are petite you should order the circumference 1 inch larger. I measured my calf and I am a 16. I ordered the 17" size 6ww and they fit great. This is the first time I have had boots that really fit. I had no problem zipping.

These boots are beautiful but did not fit me at all. I ordered an 11.5 wide and the foot part fit great, but the calf part was several inches too big (my calf size is 17). I think the shaft size must go up with the shoe size. I usually can't wear regular calf boots, but in Fitzwell that is what my calves seem to need. An aside - the leather is pebbled, which is quite nice.

I have been looking for years for a pair of knee high boots with a wide/extended calf that was actually wide enough to fit me and I'm so happy I gave these a try. The soles could use a little more cushioning, but otherwise I am completely satisfied with these boots. Hopefully, they'll hold up well enough to justify the price.

These boots are awesome. They fit my 16½ calf with room left over. The quality is superior to others that I have tried and I loved them so much I got both the black and the brown. I cannot say enough about Zappos but if you are in doubt about ordering from this company please do so without hesitation as they have never disappointed me after years of ordering and returning for different sizes. Very nice boots. I went with the WW due to my very high insteps and they fit fine. The wide calf fits my 15.50 calves loosely, but for me that's fine. I can't wait 'til the fall to wear these.

I love my new boot they are so comfortable and fit my large calves, yeah! I have a hard time finding tall boots that fit and these boots are the boom!

These boots actually fit a truly wide calf. If you have problems finding boots to fit, I strongly suggest checking these out. Be aware that the foot part of the boot runs very narrow - order wide even if you don’t usually.

These boots are great. I ordered a couple other pairs of wide calf boots from Zappos and the calves were still too small. I got frustrated and went out to a shoe store which has no wide calf boots at all (obviously my first time shopping for tall boots for my 16-inch calves). So I decided to try one more time at Zappos, and am happy I did! They upgraded my shipping to next day (thanks!) and the boots fit like a charm and are comfortable to walk in AND very cute. I can tuck my jeans in or wear them with a skirt and they look great. Good value.

I LOVE these boots. They are so comfortable. I have a very high instep and my foot slips right into the boot. I am a teacher so I am on my feet a lot, but I can wear these all day long with no discomfort at all. Zappos was terrific to work with. The first pair we ordered didn’t fit and the exchange was very easy to handle. I recommend the boot and Zappos 100%.

I really like how these look, and the calves are definitely wide enough for my 17 1/2 inch calves. However, the heel is too tall and too narrow for me -- I am wobbling around too much. I'd love these if they had a shorter, chunkier heel. They're really cute, just not for me, but if you are comfortable with heels go for it!

I wanted so badly to be able to keep these boots, but I have to send them back. Be warned that the shaft on the boots feels much larger than 17 inches. My calf measures 16.5 inches, a they were swimming in this boot. I could put three fingers into the gap. They just didn't look right. Other than that, these boots are beautiful and very well made! The texture on them is amazing!

These boots are great! I'm so happy to have wide calf boots that finally fit. They are true to size as advertised and are stylish and comfortable. Zappos has 2 other styles extra large calf (Fitzwell brand) and regular sized one in another brand-almost identical. I ordered all 3 and tried all of them. The XL calf is good for 17 ½” to 19” and was quite loose. The regular size I could zip but pulled at the elastic gusset. My calf is 16 ½” and this fit just right with tights and/or light leggings. I haven't worn them for a long period of time yet (only indoors sitting), so I can't comment on walking long distances in them yet. The leather is slightly pebbled in texture, but I like that as you can dress up or down in the boots and they work either way. I was actually able to wear a pair of Born boots although not advertised as wide calf, so look at that brand but read the shaft size carefully.

Cute Wide Calf Boots - I love these boots and they are super sexy. Beware, they run narrow. I had to go up to a 10WW, and they fit perfectly! The shaft is really wide, I have enough room to tuck in a normal pair of straight leg jeans.

I love my new Fitzwell boots. The leather is high quality and the buckle detail adds great interest to this boot. Had to get used to the heel gradually since I do not usually wear heels for work. Love them!

My calf measures 16.5" (shoe size 8), and this is the 6th pair of boots I have ordered in an attempt to find a stylish pair that fits. My search ends here. The heel is not too high, so you can actually make it through the day without (too) badly aching feet. The quality of the leather is excellent, and the buckle detail is attractive. They are a smidge loose even at the top (but not unreasonably so) so I could tuck in a pair of skinny jeans. They don't look like boots for big girls, and I have gotten many compliments on them. The only issue I have is that when I cross my legs, the buckle presses on my crossed leg unless you're in just the right position. I have already gotten a great deal of use out of these boots and am looking forward to a long and beautiful friendship.

The leather is so soft and comfortable. I can spend all day on my feet and not even have a problem with the special heel insert. The wide calf is perfect for me. It's snug but doesn't cut off my circulation. I now have boots to wear over my skinny jeans.
