Size: I bought the medium size (7-8) for my wife who normally wears a 6 1/2 - 7. Her toes are at the very end so they do run small. Comfort and Warmth: Due to disclosure agreements I cannot say how many years my wife has been wearing house shoes but she says these are the most comfortable and warmest she has worn. Her last pair were made of high quality materials and cost $80. We've been trying to find decent quality, warm houseshoes for her for a while. Style: She looks like she has "Michelin Man" feet when she wears them. The navy blue color is a true navy blue. To me the styling looks good for what they are. They look warm. They do make an annoying noise when she walks in them. It is kind of a cross between a "squish" and the swish you hear when the legs of nylon pants like snow pants rub against each other. Overall she is extremely happy with the purchase.

The Base Camp boots feel like they actually generate heat they are so warm. Very light and comfortable. Also have good bottom so I can go to mail box in them. Zappos great shipping was super fast. Thanks.

I love these "slippers". Very warm and comfortable. I had read a lot of reviews about other Baffin booties that ran much smaller than indicated. This one fits true to size!

Okay, full disclosure: Baffin Base Camps are pretty b-ugly on the feet. And they run big. As in, I wear a women's 10 and ended up with a near-perfect fit in a small, supposed to be a 5-6! But they are GREAT to wear. I like to take them on cooler-weather backpacks as camp shoes--they weigh almost nothing, though they're bulky to pack. They are wonderfully warm--down-filled--and will not make your feet sweat if you wear socks. The soles are waterproof BUT the uppers are not: NOT good to wear in the rain. And the soles don't stand up to much abrasion. Best for camping in forest or on slickrock. You're paying a premium for a somewhat delicate product. But they are LOVELY to have on dry, chilly-to-cold nights.

Think small!! I wear a women's size 10, but the small, which is supposed to be a 5-6, is actually the right size. This is, of course, because women don't rate their own shoe, as usual… I love that Base Camp booties weigh nothing--I can take them backpacking--and that they can be worn for hours (with socks) and not make my feet sweat. I do NOT love the complete lack of styling that makes feet look like hooves. They could be shaped a little--or a lot--and come on, let's make a women-specific version. We're 50% of the campers and hikers now.

The floors in our house are tile and concrete so it is important for me to keep my feet warm in the winter. These base camp boots/slippers do the trick. I was looking for something warm with a soft sturdy sole and these appear to fit the bill.

Bought these to keep my feet warm around the house as my floors tend to be cold. No they're not exactly stylish but I love them. I refer to them as my puffy moon booties. I wanted something looked different from regular slippers and these fit the bill perfectly. Great for keeping your feet warm while relaxing in comfy clothes.

Love these. SO WARM! I sometimes take them off to cool my feet. I have a really bad foot so what I love about these is that I can literally put my orthotic right inside the boots. Perfect for me :) One note: don't pull up on the top edge of the boots to put them on as it can tear the seam.

I purchased these to wear as slippers around the house in the winter to keep my feet warm. They are doing a great job of that! But after about a week the non-slip sole is gone. The only problem so far is that the non-slip soles do not last very long at all.

These boots are pretty warm and probably would always be if i hadn't ordered them too big. I think that's the reason I felt cold on the heel and sides in a cold room. They are great for indoor wear but I wouldn't wear them outside.

Very comfy. I wear them mostly indoors, but do occasionally wear them outside for quick dog walks. Think of these are very thick, loose, warm, socks with a tiny bit of protection on the bottom. The elastic drawstrings around ankle keep them in place nicely. Adjust once and leave. Only thing I'd change is making sole more durable. Not stylish, but cool in a funky way.

These boots fit snug and that's saying something for my size is 16. There's no snow on the ground so I can't comment on the boots effectiveness in cold weather but they look like a winner just from trying them on!

I must say, I love this slipper! I received them for Christmas, as a gift, and have worn them daily...hours on end...ever since. They are warm, comfortable, and easy to wash. A curious phenomenon, however. One of the slippers, which have a cuff attached at the top of the boot, has torn. Now, initially, I thought it must have been something I did, but looking closely, I realized that it had not been sewn on properly. The toggle that tights the boot around the ankle was also compromised; it slipped out of the end casing...not a problem to its function, but not particularly attractive. I have given these boots as gifts, and the recipients have not had a problem with them. I suspect mine was a defect, and was simply an anomaly. I continue to wear these boots daily with the hope they'll last for a long time.

These help keep my feet warm around the house. I will have to add some kind of foot pads inside because there is very little cushioning in the bottom of the boot itself. They are rather silly looking as home slippers because they are so bulky looking. Overall, I would still buy them again.

I am pleased with the boots. I would caution buyers that the soles are designed strictly for snow wear, and would not hold up well walking on hard or rough surfaces.

If weight and bulk are an issue for you as a backpacker, I would look elsewhere for a camp slipper, or boot. However, for the recreational drive up camper or RV'er, these boots are warm and comfy, appear to be well made with good quality materials, and get bonus points for Funky Style. Although walking to the shower would be at the outer limits of practicality. All in all, I like my Baffin's, and would recommend them at Zappos' price point. Zappos' service remains Legendary.

Was looking for something to wear that would be "drought" resistant...alas, no rain since purchasing; however, they seem to be made of a good grade nylon that should repel snow and/or water, should I ever have the pleasure of seeing either again before I die! The only drawback is I wear about a 9.5 and the 10 is snug. Being diabetic doesn't help with the snug fit either; nevertheless, I intend to wear these to the first rain of 2014 to dance and prance in the streets that my city continuously neglects to fill in the potholes...such is life. Overall, these are definitely cutie patootie (for you older gals looking at this). As for the lack of a good arch support. Well, wasn't going to be wearing them but to work and back (and dancing for a few minutes in the rain) so I don't find that quite as important feature that some of you might.

I bought these to wear in a marginally heated art studio. They were way cheaper than insulated boots I was considering and will be more comfortable while working at a drafting table or on the floor. I like the heavier fabric around the edge for better wear and the sole is grippy and looks like it should be easy to clean. I usually wear a women's 9.5, so I ordered the large. They felt a little short, so I ordered a pair of XL to compare. The XL felt better for length, but were way too wide and felt and looked too big, so I'm sticking with the L. I have wide feet and even the L is wider than necessary. But these are essentially slippers, so I guess comfy is better. I also noticed the the sewing and construction of the size L was noticeably better than the XL. The stitching was not as tight or straight on the XL, and the toggle was even attached on the inside rather than the outside of one of the boots.

Good fit...warm...great for around the house and occasionally outside. The top closure stitching on one came loose...and then off...within a month but it is still wearable.

Fantastic! I have no circulation and live in a cold house - but these work. Runs a little large but is so warm and the cinches help keep them snug.

I bought these "camp slippers" because my studio is flippin' freezing all winter and my feet get cold. Years ago I had a pair of down booties from Sierra Designs and I loved them. They had an actual sole on them and were very comfortable. These booties are without any support and have nothing but a foam insole between my feet and the non-slip outsole. That said they are pretty warm, but they are so much bigger than my feet that they look like clown shoes and I have stepped on my own feet several times. I would say that, if you hve a sense of humor and aren't much of a fashion maven, these slippers are okay.

Very warm but just not for standing around or walking. My feet got very tired of wearing them because there is no arch support, like none - you feet are touching the floor separated by cosy fabric. They are very warm, albeit wayyyy too large in both size and width. Felt like I could turn my ankle if I didn't make sure that I placed every step firmly - my feet got tired walking like this. They seem like great booties, just not for me. I went back to North Face for another pair sneaker bottomed booties (ThermoBall™ Traction Bootie) because they offer great support and fit my foot with none of the loosenesses of the Baffin. My last pair of North Face Men's Nuptse Bootie III lasted 8 years, but had to choose the Traction Bootie since the Nuptse Bootie seems to be out of stock everywhere). The Baffin has no treads like the North Face, which makes outer sole fabric wet and dirty if you walk outdoors. The North Face has a proper sneaker outer so you can brush them off and go indoors without tracking.

I bought these for a camping trip, but I ended up returning them. Even though they’re comfy, I didn’t think it made sense to have a boot that I can’t wear outside. For home, I wear Ugg Coquette, which is awesome.
