I wear a size 14. It took me quite a while to find Sanitas in my size (48) but when I did, my feet have literally been in heaven ever since. I wear my Sanitas with my tailored business suits and ties when I know I have to do a lot of walking and they look handsome, clean, and conservative. I have placed 1/4 inch thick rubber soles on the bottoms of all my dress shoe soles, not just for comfort, but also rubber keeps my feet dry and warm in inclement weather. My feet were reasonably comfortable but with some shoes my feet still ached after a long day of walking. My Sanitas at the end of the day leave my feet with no aching at all. I have since purchased black and burgundy Sanitas to match my entire wardrobe. These Sanita's have so impressed me that I want the ability to wear these Sanita's with anything in my wardrobe. Trust me, these closed clogs look handsome with anything I wear, and I am known as a man who pays close attention to his appearance. I haven't even addressed the fact that these clogs will last at least ten years because of the material. You will never be sorry if you...BUY SANITA'S FOR YOUR FEET!

I must say that I was a little cautious when buying -- reviews, price, etc. But from the minute I put these shoes I it has been pure comfort. I like them better than the Dansko, because they have a shorter, not as tall sole, and they are lighter. With the D brand, I seemed to clunk when I walked, but these are just normal shoes, except again I say they are comfortable! I can understand chefs, hospital personnel, etc. wearing them. They also make your foot look smaller!

What a pleasant surprise I had when wearing this shoe for the first time. I have very flat feet which causes a lot of discomfort, not only to my feet, but to my back, as well. The structure and support of this shoe has really helped to alleviate this problem. I would recommend this shoe and plan to purchase another pair.

After 6 years of daily wear, I replaced two pair of Dansko professional Cabrio clogs. As they were the best fitting shoes I have ever worn, I wanted to replace them exactly. Based on on-line information, I ordered the Sanitas brand. I find them to have the same great fit, sizing, and quality with the only difference being that the Sanitas' insert is either man-made or of textured leather that results in greater friction and prevents the smooth slide I experienced in my previous pairs.

Love, Love, Love! Received these today in the navy and were comfortable the second I put them on. The blue is the perfect color. I ordered them in the 36. I wear a size 6 and they fit perfectly.

After my Dansko clogs finally cracked after 12 years of wear, I was looking to replace them. My old Dansko clogs had "Sanita" printed on the bottom so once I realized who actually manufactured them, I decided to go to the source. I love the Sanita Pro Cabrio! They are as comfortable as my old ones, I did have to go up from size 39 to 40... think my feet spread out a little in 12 years and the 39 was just a teeny bit snug. They seem to be about 1/4 inch lower than the old ones, but that is no big deal. Am planning on buying another pair in a different color... they are my favorite shoes to wear!

These shoes are not true to size. I am a 9.5 regularly and ordered a size 40. They were too small and too narrow. Order one size up. Also, they felt different and not as comfortable on the foot as Danskos so I ordered a size 41 in the Dansko. Thankfully, Zappos is amazing and the return policy is easy.

I can’t stop wearing these shoes. I’m a teacher and am constantly on my feet, so good shoes are a must! I can wear them with any casual, teacher-type clothes, but I basically wear them all weekend, too. Great shoes, but beware; you might end up like me and never buy another pair of "comfy" shoes again. My only drawback is the style. I chose brown cabrio, and it has a funny shade to it, almost like iridescent oil streaks. It’s not overly obvious, but it is a little bit strange that the color wasn’t better described. These are totally comparable to Danskos in my opinion (I had those for years).

I love these shoes. The only thing is trying to find the right size. The sevens were too small and the eights were too big. I wish they had half sizes.

Very supportive and comfortable. I like that they slide off so I can let my feet breathe during breaks. Would like to get another pair just to wear around- I have seen a woman wearing them with a skirt and they looked cute!

I have been searching for comfortable not-ugly shoes for years. I had tried on a similar brand several times, but they never felt good. I read here about how Sanitas were better, so I gave them a try. I love, love, love these shoes. I have the black, and I wear them every day. I have bad knees and a bad back and these have helped both of those problems a lot. It's interesting that so many people have noted that the right shoe feels tighter than the left, which is exactly the case with mine too. It took me a couple of weeks to stretch the right one out to the point where it felt comfortable. If I'm trying to go up a hill quickly, I sometimes feel like I'm going to slip out, but I never do. I wear a 10 in regular shoes, and I got the 41. One other note on sizing... I read somewhere else that when these shoes fit right, you should be able to put one finger between your heel and the back of the shoe.

Great work shoe. I stand on my feet all day and these are very comfortable. I buy these shoes every few years. Since Zappos is great with no shipping costs, buy a few pairs at a time because one shoe might be narrower than the other.

I needed to replace a pair of clogs that I purchased years ago. After some research and asking around, I determined that Dansko was the way to go. I bought and returned 4 pairs in 2 different sizes - they were way too narrow and just did not fit correctly. My sister informed me that Danskos are now made in China, and to try Sanita. Basically the same shoe, but much better quality. I'm so glad I did! Very comfortable, great arch support, and the Cabrio color is, unbelievably at first, a nice neutral that goes with just about anything. I still have a problem with European sizing, however. I wear a size 10-10.5 shoe, which translates to a 41, but those were too small. Bought a 42 and they fit perfectly. If you have never purchased shoes with this sizing before, I suggest you try 2 sizes to find the ones that fit best. I highly recommend these clogs for comfortable, quality footwear.

I ordered these looking for a good winter walking shoe that was also good for rain because of the height of the shoe, but despite all the glowing reviews, I found myself really disappointed. Like another reviewer mentioned, I felt that the right shoe was somewhat smaller than the left, and maybe I'm just not used to clogs, but the incessant rubbing of the back of the shoe against the back of my heel as my foot slipped out of the clog with each step was maddening! I couldn't even walk around for 5 minutes in my own house because it became exponentially more painful with each step. I guess I just don't have the calluses built up on the back of my heel, and I wasn't wearing these with socks (I wanted a shoe I could wear with or without socks). These are too expensive to have given the performance that they did :( Plus, the support wasn't really that epic...The only good thing about this shoe was my experience with Zappos, which is always fantastic even when the shoe is unfortunate!

I had my first pair for 3 years and loved them!!!! They helped with all sorts of foot problems. Bought a new pair several months ago but they just aren't the same; the fit is a little different, the arch placement seems different and they squeak internally. I've gone back to wearing the old pair

After wearing Danskos for years, I gave these a try, and find them a much better fit! Danskos - even the "narrow" Professional - run quite wide. These Sanita clogs look exactly like Danskos, and have all the arch support and ergonomic features of Danskos, but have a significantly narrower fit. As a side note, although the sizing runs true to Dansko equivalents (I'm a 42 there, too), the American size conversion is way off - I wear a women's 9.5-10, not a 11.5-12! Make sure you know your size before you buy, or consider ordering several sizes.

I ordered these shoes in the 38, after reading the reviews, and figuring since I normally wear a size 8, these should be right. Well, they were incredibly small-as in, my foot would barely go in the opening in the top. They were just terribly painful. I even considered not ordering a second pair in a larger size because they just seemed so uncomfortable, but boy am I glad I did it anyway! I only went up a size, but they were a night and day difference. Because I had never tried on these types of shoes before, I didn't know that they are supposed to sort of slide on and off your heel as you walk (it doesn't cause blisters, it's just the way they are), so keep that in mind when you try yours on. These are very comfortable shoes, and I think they look great with jeans, which is just an added bonus. I chose the brownish red color because they look fine with brown or black clothes.

First of all, I love Zappos! They rock and I will continue to use their service. I call it a service because they make shopping pain free. I tried a pair of Sanita Cabrio clogs on in the city but, didn't purchase them. When I got home I decided that I really wanted a pair but, didn't want to fight commuter traffic back into town. I ordered from Zappos saving time and money. The shoes arrived the next day. Amazing! Unfortunately other reviewers were right. Since these shoes are still hand stapled ( unlike other outsourced brands ) they do tend to vary in fit. The right shoe felt almost a full size smaller than the left. It was easy to return the shoes to Zappos for refund. Not wanting to take a chance on an odd fit I returned to the shoe store to purchase the Sanitas that I had already tried on. They are one of the best shoes, comfort and versatility, that I have ever worn. I will definitely be purchasing more Sanita clogs. Next time I will try Zappos again as I am sure that the fit issue is not always a problem.

After trying the new Dansko shoes and realizing that they didn't fit my feet as well as my old standby clogs, I decided to give Sanita a try. These indeed feel much better and are great for long days of standing and walking. Maybe clogs are the most stylish, but they are good for your feet!

I bought a second pair of Sanitas within a week. I had been wearing Clarks and Borns, so the Sanitas were stiffer, but they break in quickly. The other brands "break down" in support, maybe due to their softness. I wanted an enclosed shoe and the extra height with comfort (I am too tall for petites and too short for regular slacks). I will add a third color/pair as money permit. They go great with everything from jeans to business wear so I can maintain a smaller shoe collection. They are clogs so they will always be in style. They came from Zappos which is just icing on the cake. The first pair was too big and I had another pair on the way after I hung up the phone. Try to get service like that at a mall. Zappos rocks.

I love this shoe! The color is gorgeous and the leather has a beautiful sheen. I have plantar fasciitis and these help my feet so much, I don't even have to use my insoles. They are quite comfortable when I walk in them and I can wear them all day without my feet or legs hurting. This is my first pair of Sanitas and I plan on buying more. I also like that these are still made in Europe.

Dansko outsourced to China and their quality has gone down. Sanita still makes the original clogs in the original European factory. Great product, arrived quickly. Thanks for carrying them.

Great clogs, especially if you are on your feet for long hours. Be mindful, most of these are hand made and sizing can be off a bit even from within the same box. I recommend ordering 2 or 3 pairs so you can try them all on and select the two that individually fit your feet best and then return the other pair(s).

I recently made the switch from Dansko clogs to Sanita, and made my first purchase here. They're blue, they're beautiful and fit perfectly! As always, stellar service from Zappos. I'll be back for more colors.
