one of the lace hooks became loose within 2 days

Have worn these boots for 3 weeks now. Finally a leather boot that fits my flipper width foot! I work 10-16 hors a day. I stand on concrete walk out side and am occasionally stetting at a desk. These boot broke in fast. After a coat of mink oil the break in the toes was smooth. They are light and look great. 2 small complaints: the tongue needs to be taller or the top eyelet redesigned. When tired to the top the laces work over the tongue and are marginally annoying. Also after standing outside at 0 degrees the soles turn slippery on ice. My feet are not cold and I am not saying they are meant to be a winter boot. I am just saying. But after years of not having a duty boot that sucked I can say I will buy these again. I don't trust reviews that are posted the same day as delivery so I waited the length of time it usually took me to be disappointed to post this.

I had tried some other hiking boots that felt cheap and poorly constructed, as well as not comfortable. The Drew Rockford boot fit very well and should perform well as a hiking and all purpose boot. Still in the break-in stage but feels great already.

A decent boot with a nice, large toe box--no narrowing. Very roomy inside all around (welcomed). Size seems at least one size larger than marked. Width also seems at least one size wider than marked (not complaining in my case because the wider the better). Heavy boot and stiff upper. My only complaint with Drew is the inconsistency is sizing--both length and width--making it hard to get a proper fit.

The boot was perfect! Fit me perfectly! Probably the most comfortable boot I've ever worn. Only gave it 4 stars was because the price is outrageous but the only one my size worth buying.

The shoes fit well. They do not let your feet breathe at all. Might be alright if you work outside in the cold all day. Shoe laces tore after a month from the eyelets. Way over priced in my opinion

This boot was very stiff. The major problem for me was its relatively small toebox, which is not typical for the Drew shoe line. After taking out the factory footbeds, I put my own orthotics in. With either my orthotics in place or the factory insoles, I could feel the boot rubbing against my toes.

Horrible. They do not breathe whatsoever. By the end of a work day my feet are wrinkled like a prune as if I've been in a bathtub all day. Not real comfortable either. The leather is not durable at all, showing scuff marks immediately. The worst boots I've ever bought, and were as expensive as red wings. Do not buy these! I would buy another different pair of boots if I hadn't spent so much money on these and been broke from it. I just have to suffer now!

These boots are amazing and are super comfortable.

This is the third pair i'm trying to fit in . It's crazy how some shoes are saying 5E (XX) is just x-wide WRONG -5E is XXXX Wide

These are the first boots in 20 years that actually fit my 6E feet. I have tried the other 5E and 6E boots on this site and others, but these fit the best of any of them. The other boots squeezed my feet where these feel great! That almost never happens for me in any shoes. I have been walking in the woods and removing snow in them and they have been perfect!

Great boot. I use these for work and never had a problem. I am very hard on my shoes and expect them to perform well and keep me comfortable. I've stood in freezing water and my feet were dry and warm. I keep my old worn out pairs for work in the garden and around the house. They hold up well.

Only boot I've tried that is a true 4E. Others are too narrow.

If you have a wide foot and toe room is important to you, then these are unquestionably the shoes for you. Expensive? Yes! But what is foot comfort worth to you? The quality of the product is top-notch in very aspect; and the styling is very good for a shoe whose goal is clearly stated (and delivered) as comfort.

This is the second pair that I am wearing for work. The first pair are now my Yard shoes. I just recieved my third pair so I can have them on hand in case I need them. Talk about backing yourself up. These shoes don't have to be broken in and I can go all day in them. They are little warm in the summer. My first pair lasted 2 years and still have life in them for working in the yard.

Sturdy - and when they say wide, they mean it. too wide even for the EEEE foot.

Most shoes, even wide ones, narrow again at the toes. If your duck feet stay wide all the way to the toes so that even extra wide shoes still are too narrow at the toe box then this might be the shoe for you. The boot stays wide all the way to the end. Sadly for me, the ankle is very padded which rubs a ganglion on my ankle so I have to return these. But I totally recommend you try these if no shoes comfortably fit your wide foot.

Comfortable Rockport Drew boots. First time I ever worn a pair of 4E boots. However, I had worn a size 8 4E pair of sneakers (if I was fortunate enough to find one) in the past. Disappointed that I never got to apply the $110 discount to this purchase, even though I was told over the phone it was taken care even though it weren’t. Would have been helpful if someone had told me those boots weren’t applicable for the discount & that I should have ordered a pair that from the Zappos Work: Amazon Safety page. Ended up getting 2nd pair of size 8 (but only 2E wide) boots (Thorogood Crosstrek) to to get that discount. I ended up having to return them because of a size issue (guess should have gotten them in a size. From that approved list, I decided of a pair of New Balance size 8 4E. I am currently waiting for a notification to when those pair are back in stock so I can apply for my $110 discount.

Comfortable enough, but the construction felt a bit cheap, this "tumbled nubuck" material looks cheap -- they're plain ugly. My wife said they look like Mickey Mouse feet. It's unfortunate, the pix on the website look pretty good. If we lived somewhere that snow was a concern I might have kept them, they seem well-insulated and I can believe they're waterproof, but I returned them.
