Just what we were looking for... My daughter HAD to have the Jansport original backpack for school this year. Nothing else would do. Evidently so did every other kid in central Florida. There were none to be found - Anywhere! Zappos.com had every color you could imagine and we had it in plenty of time for school. She loves it. It's perfect. Just the right size and the construction is so sturdy. You can always count on Jansport to last an entire school year.

Awesome Backpack! I love my new Jansport Super Break. It is very cute and comfortable and holds all my books for school!

I LOVE THIS BACKPACK! This jansport backpack is so popular every one I know owns one of these backpacks. It's very comfortable and looks great. The only reason why I want to back to school is to show off my new backpack. I've used jansport backpacks even since I can remember probably since I started school. This backpack is GREAT and everyone should own one.

Nice. I ordered this backpack due to back issues, I'd been carrying a side "messenger" type bag for the past few years, and my shoulders and back were killing me! This is a decent backpack, it has plenty of room, and the only thing I wish was that it had an inner pocket or two rather than just one huge space. I bought this for strictly using it for school books...nothing more.

Jansport backpack - I bought this backpack for my daughter to match my old backpack from high school (28 yrs old). It doesn't look as well made as mine. It still looks nice and is comfortable. I hope it lasts long.

Pockets - Some of the designs are really cool, that's why I bought two. But the backpack is too big and it's just a bag with straps. It only has a front pocket and the fabric (nylon) is thin. I was a bit disappointed. I was expecting something better.

Backpacks for kids - I bought 2 of these for my school age kids - they love the patterns. The backpacks are a good size for all the stuff they haul to school, and have one big open compartment with a side pocket. The seams are a little less rugged than I had hoped, but overall these are great for kids.

Light weight travel - I checked out a lot of places trying to find a bag that would be light weight and hold all the things that I needed for my trip to Europe. I haven't gone on my trip yet but I am pretty sure this bag will do what I am looking for. I was pleasantly surprised when I received the bag, it has a lot of room, is light weight and looks good, It is a good bag for the price and better than some bags I seen that were more expensive.

I bought the backpack for my 7th grader. She can't fit all of her books in it; however, she doesn't since mind because she usually holds her main binder and folder. So, if you don't want to carry any books and you have a lot, go with the next size up back from Jansport.

Pretty Cool Back Pack - I brought this backpack for my boyfriend. He was lookin’ for a new cool back pack and I suggested Jansport since I have had mine for like 8 years and it still works like it did on day one. It can go for either a guy or girl since it black. The corduroy material gives it a different look. It holds a good number of books and the straps are padded. Good choice!

Is the material getting cheaper? Have had this particular backpack model for maybe 20 years. Have had 3 altogether. It is simple, light, always does the job. Used 1000's of times. But the materials are thinner now. Though the straps are just as good. It used to have a nice but short synthetic rope running through the zipper pull which could possibly have been used for an emergency something. Now it’s just a thin strip of material that would be useless. Oh yeah, 1 final note. Use to be made in USA. Now it’s China I think it said.

Jansport backpack fun and funky - Jansport makes a nice backpack. It is lightweight and very stylish. But most importantly, it gets the homework from there to here and back.

It's what I needed - Selected this because use of a tote bag or briefcase was causing arm and shoulder pain. Yet I'm 71 and petite, and didn't want something too big, bright and flashy. I'd initially bought a huge multi-pocketed one (from somewhere else) and it overwhelmed me -- gave it to my teenage granddaughter. This one looks and feels OK (the "Guns n' Roses" print shows mostly roses; fortunately, the skulls are not obvious). It doesn't have pockets or sections inside, and I miss that. Also, with a previous Jansport backpack the stuff inside got soaking wet when it rained. We'll see how this one does. Of course, Zappos was its usual wonderful self.

Jansport's SuperBreak backpack - Basic backpack, for when you don't need a lot of pockets and compartments. Not so comfortable, but great looks.

A good basic backpack - The product is fine if you just want the basics and aren't interested in multi-pockets, etc. The price matches the value.

Corduroy backpack - I love the look of the backpack, the only thing that would make it better is an extra small inside pocket to go along with the one outside.

Backpack - I was pleased with the prompt shipment of my order. It looks pretty good but a bit heavy because of the corduroy material. I had to cut off the logo because I wanted a dressier look.

This is as good as it gets. Very light. I guess this is a good backpack. However I see the overall Jansport quality is not what it used to be. The material they use for this line of product is much thinner now. Jansport products were not like this when I remember my school days. The good old days are gone now.

Nice Bag... nice bag...just like the other plain ones but with the blue flame...really cool

While I really like the look of these backpacks, there just aren't enough compartments. For someone in high school, I recommend that you should look for a bigger backpack.

JanSport SuperBreak - It does not have as many compartments, it hurts when I put a lot of books in the bag. I think maybe this is more of a casual school bag, like for summer use only (when you don’t have a lot of things to carry), for academic year use, it’s not as good.

Hey, it was great except for... The comfort was a little disturbing because it is so stiff, it took me 6 1\2 weeks for it to get un-stiff :( otherwise it was fantastic :)

Right size but my 7 year old didn't like it - This a review of the Jansport backpack that has pink and purple spots all over it. Visually it was the ticket for my daughter, but the straps were too stiff and bugged her around the neck.
