These were decent work shoes for my teenaged son. They held up pretty well for him in his job as a busboy, but they got a bit loose as he wore them. For $40, we got pretty much what we paid for, plus he got to experience the whole concept of having to invest some start up money to make more money and having comfortable shoes to be productive. $40 for a bus person equates to an entire lunch shift and a bit of a low-stakes life lesson.

The shoe quality was good for the asking price but only one pair left when ordering does give one pause for the future.

I ordered on 11/30/18 - its been 1 year - I got my money worth, cant ask more for a $43.00 pair of shoes !

Great shoes for the price.

The instep of the shoe is to high. The instep of the shoe is not the way a normal US shoe is made.

I already went through one pair of these, now bought a second. This model is comfortable, fits well and great for office work. Soles hold well. On the down side, they faux leather top wares off too quickly, therefore 4 stars. This shoes are inexpensive and not designed to last long but comfortable and combined with Zappos impecable service makes it a good buy.

Very comfortable shoes. I do a lot of walking each day and these feel great. They fit my foot perfectly. My only complaint is that the insert often bunches up at the front of the shoe when I put them on.

We always turn to this brand for a little style and comfort for my husband who needs an extra wide dress shoe. This shoe provides both and we come to Zappos without fail because the shopping is so easy and reliable. My only issue with his Deer Stags has been durability, but then again, they last a year or so and for the price that is really all I can expect.

I wear a size 10.5M and ordered the same. Perfectly comfortable in the toe but too loose in the heel so I returned it and will seek an alternative.

I like the shoe style and the quality of the shoe, but I don’t like is the quality of the inner sole comes out easily very slippery and it doesn’t feel like a good quality. Plastic feeling,

I think the Chinese have no idea what "WIDE" means

This is a very cheeply made shoe, the insert bunched up in my toes as I put the shoes on. Not worth their cost, even though the cost is low.

The shoe was two small. I could barely get my foot in the shoe

I have bought this shoe twice for my husband, size 13. Although they fit and are comfortable, they can't seem to keep up with his office job that includes some bending and squatting. The soles have cracked twice, this last time in less then 3 months. We won't buy again, but the may be perfect for someone who doesn't need flexibility in the sole.

Cost to benefit is a good deal for these shoes The shoes look pretty good for slip-ons. A bit tight for a EEE but needed these for work now. The soles will squeak on vinyl floors when walking. Wonder how these will last over the next two years wearing three days/week. Have noticed the tops creasing the first day so may not be a long lasting shoe. Time will be the judge. Not disappointed nor jumping over the moon.

Although they felt OK on the carpet the day I bought them, after several wearings they creased so deeply on top that it pinched my arch to the point I could no longer wear them. I own several Deer Stags slippers so thought I was OK, but this loafer of theirs (Brooklyn) did not work for me.

Order a pair of Brooklyn, 10.5M. When they arrived, the box was marked 10.5M but the shoes were 10.5W. Returned them and received an exchange pair. Again, the box was marked 10.5M but the shoes were 10.5W. If you are ordering these shoes be very careful. Zappos did provide me with a courtesy credit for future purpose which I am thankful. However, I really wanted the shoes.
