I enjoy this type of slipper

The shoe fit fine - great option since I don't have any toes on my left foot and no right foot - so I asked to return right shoe for credit or another left foot shoe - as advertised in their one shoe program and I got a different answer than when I spoke to the customer service told me I could return one - now they're telling me I have to purchase one shoe from a page with very few selections - and the shoe that fits my left and only foot with no toes is not an option for me - Zappo refused to help and/or accomodate me in any way - so I returned them

Five Stars ***** does not even say how great these slippers fit and feel. They do run a half size bigger or it may just be they did for my aunt. She is normally an 8 1/2 because of the severe edema in her feet, but we actually had to get her a size 8. The opening and heel adjustment make it much easier for individuals who need to customize the width. The sole of the slipper is nice as it grips the floor not like a regular slipper that is typically smooth. The added adjustment and back of heel adjustment has made my aunt feel safer when walking than the open back slippers that she had been wearing. I would highly, highly recommend these to anyone who has edema, diabetic, or other medical condition.

Bought these for my 104 year old father who has very swollen feet. He likes the style and says they are comfortable. He has tried them around the house with a walker and we plan to use them when outside on dry days. The soles are quite thick, so should be okay for taking a few steps here and there. Also, these are very easy to put on his feet.

Such a godsend for my brother who spent 21 days in the hospital. Severe edema made socks the only option and with so many follow up appointments in cold weather, we are very grateful for the expedited shipping. Zappos is a wonderful asset to family caregivers. Forever grateful!

Ordered this pair for my 91 year old father-in-law and one additional pair. Of the 2 pairs, this one gave him the adjustment(s) top and back for a better fit and relieved our concern of slipping on the tile floors. I believe many people shopping for an older person, set in their ways and especially at this stage of their life finds shopping for them (older folks) can be difficult at times. Fingers crossed this slipper will keep him happy for quite a long time

Purchased the slipper's for my husband. He just loves this brand. They are adjustable for fit. Buy them if you have anyone in your family who has a hard time finding the right fit! Flower Gal

Love how adjustable these slippers are. With the velcro fasteners you can control the arch support and even the size!

For geriatric patients with foot issues, these shoes are a godsend. They have velcro over the top and around the heel so they are adjustable to swelling, corns, wounds, etc. I have bought them for several elderly people and they are always helpful.

These just were not right for me. They worked fine, but my feet sweat in them without socks. But they are well made and a great idea for those needing a slipper that has variable length and width with an easy adjustable velcro opening for each.

A fantastic solution for anyone recovering from foot, ankle or similar surgery. When the foot is swollen and unable to fit into your regular shoes, these are a God-send. Adjustable from every angle. Soft with a very cushioned sole. 5 stars in all the points that count. Not something you would wear to a wedding, but if worn with dark slacks, they sort of "disappear". Plus, when you are unable to walk in anything else, these are a life-saver. My husband loves them!

I purchased these for my elderly dad who has heart problems. Due to this he has very swollen legs and feet. It is difficult to find shoes/slippers that fit and will stay on, and are not to hard for him to put on. These are perfect and he really likes them. I'm very happy with my purchase. Plus love the free shipping to and fro Zappos offers. I ordered two different pairs and the others did not fit so sent back headache free!! Thank you Zappos

These run a little long, but they're wonderful! I have custom orthotics and was destroying slippers because I couldn't get a decent pair that would work with my orthotics. These are fantastic and really, really comfortable.

My husband has wide feet and is diabetic, He says these slippers are wonderful. Sometimes his feet swell and these slippers have adjustable straps which allow for this. He wears them every day in the evening after work and loves them.

I bought these for my elderly father. He has trouble finding slippers that fit & have support. These are perfect.

These are perfect for people who need to use wheel chairs or have swelling in their feet. I bought these for my husband who is a quadriplegic and has some trouble getting his feet into regular shoes at times. These are so adjustable and easy to get on and can be loosened throughout the day as needed. He can actually wear them out in public and they do not look too much like slippers. I was very impressed when they arrived. The material is great, soft but not thin.

This is the second pair of these that I have gotten for my dad. He suffers from congestive heart failure, so his feet tend to swell--some days more than others. These are perfect because the Velcro strap can be adjusted to accommodate the width of his feet no matter how swollen they have been. The foam sole is also comfortable for him because his feet are sometimes tender. They are also very easy for him to put on and take off, and my mom has washed them numerous times. I originally got the first pair as an alternative to shoes because none of my dad's shoes were fitting. He doesn't go to many places, so I thought he could wear these to run an errand or go to doctor's appointments because the soles are solid and when the top strap is covered by pants, the style is that of a typical loafer. Of course my dad has not worn them outside of the house like I hoped he would (instead of struggling with a shoe horn to pry his feet into laced shoes), he does wear these ALL the time--hence, pair number 2.

These are amazing - perfect for swollen feet which are never the same size each day! The nurses at my dad's home were raving, wanted to know where I got them so they could tell a few families about them. I was happy to share zappos.com, yeah Zappos!

I agree with the reviewer that these are a godsend. I needed to find a shoe for my father post-bypass surgery and his feet were swollen. For a brief trip to the doctor's office, these slippers are the ticket. They adjust from all sides and he was quite relieved that I found them. Worth every penny for the peace of mind as they are substantial enough to go out in the winter cold and keep an elderly foot comfortable.

I got these for my dad when his feet were swollen from radiation treatments. He needed something soft and comfortable and with good cushioning, and it was hard to find slippers that fit. Since these have multiple areas to adjust, he could get them on and make sure they were comfortable and stayed put, and he just loved them.

My 86 year old aunt has terrible swelling of feet, legs, ankles. She uses a walker. These shoes (men's size is roomier than women's) are the only shoes I have found so far to fit her comfortably. They look nice. The sole is substantial so the shoes are soft enough to be like slippers, but can be worn out too. Tailored look so they are quite respectable. Insole has little arch support but they are removable if you want to replace it with an orthotic. Very pleased with this shoe.
