Finally, jeans that fit my skinny frame! The rise on these is just right. Not super low as the name says, but just below the natural waist line. I do wish that Levi would return to heavier denim but I guess those days are gone forever. Also the artificial aging isn't my favorite feature but I can live with it because of the fit. Overall I like these a lot.

These jeans are very comfortable. The bottoms I would categorize as a "flare" bottom though--not a "boot cut." They do stretch out quite a bit after wearing for a short time. If you want the jeans to be/stay fitted, might have to order a size down. Also, they are not super low like the #524 jeans I bought. These are low-rise at best. For me the 524s are a better fit, but won't hurt to keep 1 pair of these since the price is good.

I love these jeans so much I ordered almost all of the colors! Size 9 runs true to size. If you are in between 7 and 9 I would jump up to the 9, they stretch but only after a full day's wear. Medium inseam is perfect for my shorter legs, if you plan on wearing with heels I would recommend a long inseam.

I have a short torso so low rise jeans work best for me. I bought these jeans and the 524, but I was surprised that the 518 did not seem Super low to me, so I would have like them lower in the front. They did feel tighter than the other jeans as well. They were okay when standing, but unfortunately fail the sit test for me. I like to keep my assets where they belong - hidden.

Style and color are good. Be aware that the jean is of very thin material. Sometimes I like wearing a less heavy jean and this fits the bill. They feel like they have more spandex than a typical jean. I have not worn them for too long yet but they may stretch out easily I am thinking. To me they are not super low - seems like a normal jean cut and inseam not terribly short. They are adequate for the price. A basic jean.

I love these jeans, they are cute and comfortable. The sizing is very weird though. I am usually a size 5 and according to the sizing on these I ordered the size 9 and size 11. The size 9 was too tight in the legs and the size 11 was huge in the waist. I decided to keep the 11s because I really don't like my clothes tight but I am going to have to do some alterations to the waist. I usually have this issue, I just wish these had fit me a little better. Zappos is great! Awesome prices and customer service. I recommend these just know you might have to try a few before you find the right size.

The white stitching on these jeans make it look cheap. It also stretches easily and a lot more than other jeans, which makes the seat baggy. The bootcut is wider than what I am used to....

I just wanted to share information about the FIT of these jeans. I have worn "boot cut" for years, and this shape was more flared than I expected. Also, the jeans are low-rise (good) but don't have any curve at the top. So they felt like they were pulling my undies down, and I needed a belt absolutely. For reference, I'm a slender 5'6" with a fairly straight figure (but an 'athletic' behind), so this loose quality at the top surprised me.

I have a pair of 518's that I bought in 2001 - and they still look great! These jeans are so much thinner and flimsier feeling - not thick and sturdy like my older ones. Thought I couldn't go wrong sticking with a pair that I love. Trying to decide whether to return.

Depending on what batch you get; sizing and fabric can be different. The 518 Juniors are getting loose and too long (and I order tall). Fabric stretches throughout day; pants don't stay up, gotta hitch 'em up and not why I buy this size. Overall result was a saggy look/feel. Levi's what has happened to real jeans? No fault of Zappos; my customer experience was great.

Little disappointed with this purchase. Last purchase the jeans were of thicker material, these are much thinner. Length was truly short, where the others were longer. I would rather have the thicker material.

Not for mature bodies or round booties. Typical Levis, solid but too stretchy for my tastes.

I ordered my regular size 5, I am 5.8", 125 pounds, after wearing it for the day, they stretched so much, I am not even kidding, like 4 inches at the waist, that's a lot! they are nice looking and all but stretch too much. Too bad. :(

I loved the jeans that are pictured, but these jeans are very flimsy, they look cheap, and the color was not what I thought it would be.

These jeans run huge! I followed the size charts and ordered accordingly, and they were at least a size too big. They are cut really nicely on the backside and will make your butt look really cute if you have a curvier backside. I wasn't impressed by the front, though. These are not lowrise jeans and the fly borders on 1990's Mom Jeans long!

I bought these and am keeping them for two reasons: I can wear my boots with them (and don't have to tuck the pants in) and 2. they are comfortable. These stretched out in the during my hour long commute to work - all I did was sit. Yes, I've washed these and dried them. I'm not happy. But they were bought at a discount. Hence - keeping them. I am one of those girls that is an in between size so wearing a jean that makes me look/feel larger is not a good deal. Bad, fail. You're fired. I won't be buying these ever again. The thigh is not snug the way a boot cut is supposed to be - at all. I'm very displeased.

I really like the jeans when I first put them on. After a couple hours of wearing them they stretch out a lot and they become baggy. Not a cute look. I did see another review mentioning that but most reviews were excellent, and now I'm the one dissatisfied. I really like the cut of the jeans but the downfall is they stretch out too much.

I bought these in "Spectrum." I've worn Levi's 518 boot cut jeans for the past 20 years. Something has changed. The denim is stiff and course, no soft and somewhat stretchy as in the past. The cut also seems to be slightly different--there's a gap in the back when there used to be none. They also fit a bit more snugly. The quality is just not up to par. Sadly, they are being returned.

These were great at first though they did still gap at the back and require me to wear a belt. Unfortunately, they shrunk - up - after the very first washing, even though they were hung dry. Very disappointed. Even in ballet flats with no heel they look like highwaters. :( The other pair of Levi's I bought in the same order did the exact same thing, though they were a slightly different cut and style.

Something is wrong. There is no consistency in the product. I bought the same pair of 518s in the same size and length and material composition in a different wash and they are the greatest jeans ever, a millions stars. This pair that I received is terrible. Too tight, too short, the cloth is thinner and they feel scratchy and gross. So it is a gamble if you get a good pair or not.

These are so cute and comfy but they stretched out so much on the very first wear that I just slid them off without unfastening them! Sending them back for a smaller size. That should be a good thing, but not in this case.

I love Levis 518 junior fit jeans, but the last pair I bought was not as stretchy. I like less stretchy jeans. These are definitely too stretchy.

These jeans did not fit my shape well. The waist band is extremely elastic which would be benifital is you are larger in that area. If you have a small waist these pants are not for you unless you enjoy a large pocket of buldging fabric right above your butt.

I've been wearing 518's for YEARS. I've bounced between sizes but I still love the style. I'm not sure what has happened to Levi as a company but these last two pairs were a real disappointment. I ordered the size I always order and since I knew these worked for me. I washed them before wearing them. I tried them on and they are TWO INCHES too long. (I ordered the short length) so it's almost like the factory labeled them incorrectly. Since I washed them, I can't return them. I never even thought to try them on since I've been buying them for years. Also.. they washed up terribly! The denim quality is awful. I have no idea what is going on but I can no longer recommend these. They also seem to stretch out much more than previous pairs. I'm out money and stuck with two pairs of jeans I can't wear unless I manage to grow.

There are several scratches on the backside of the pant and also on the zipper. If it is the design, I didn't see this design when I wanted to purchase this item. At the same time, I don't like this design. I guess, it is a fault from the manufacturer. So I want to return it.
