I love these shoes! Had my first set for over a year, I'm a server work 5 days a week average about 6-8 hours on my feet, my lower back and feet used to ache after I got off work - not after using these shoes! And a added bonus it really does shape your bum, legs and core. Highly recommend.

The last pair of shoes I owned left me walking around like an old lady when I get home. Now, my heels still hurt a little, but my legs and butt also feel like they got a work out! Great slip resistant shoe that literally adds a bounce to my step. I honestly tell anyone who asks about it that it is the most comfortable shoe I've ever worn, almost like walking on clouds. And it definitely does help tone, or at least make me feel like my behind looks more toned! The only drawback is the ridiculously large sole, but that's where all the comfort is coming from!

I love these shoes, in fact I'm buying a second pair right now. My first pair lasted two years in a high paced 80 hours a week in a kitchen. Only now is the side starting to tear a bit (and they're really filthy). My only complaint is that the soles can be a pain to clean if you work in a kitchen due to narrow tread pattern.

Love my Skechers. Any other shoe is now so uncomfortable. This is my second pair and I will probably get the third soon.

I work in a (relatively) formal environment, and have sensitive feet that were hurting from dress shoes (even more comfortable dress shoes). I was looking for something that felt like a sneaker, but looked streamlined enough to "pass" in a formal environment. These fit the bill. With long black pants, most of the laces are covered and you just see the black parts peeking out. The shoe also has a nice heel height (especially for a sneaker!) which is great if you want a bit of height when wearing dress pants. They are comfortable too. I wouldn't mind if they were (very slightly) wider in the toe area (I have wide feet in front) and slightly narrower in the back (I have a narrow heel) but after a month of walking in them they beat any comfort dress shoe out there (e.g., Naot, Josef Seibel). They have a nice bounce and I find them fun to walk in. I haven't noticed any "toning" effect, but with all the other great features this shoe has, it doesn't matter. I do walk more at work (which may help with toning) as these shoes are comfortable. I'm a true size five and needed a 5.5 and as usual, Zappos' service was exceptional.

Best money I've ever spent. I waitress and although I am not sure if they are "shaping up" (but I think they are) I can honestly say my feet have not hurt after a single shift since wearing these shoes. If anything my butt muscles and core muscles hurt. Super comfy for someone on their feet all of the time.

I bought these for my wife to wear at work she always was having leg and foot problems standing on concrete floors not now Thanks to these shoes she is very happy and has no more pains now she has co workers wanting to get these shoes.

I love this shoe. I have a different style of Shape Ups and I wanted another for work. The slip resistant sole is just what I needed.

This particular shoe is comfortable, an excellent fit and makes my wide, flat feet and high instep feel as if I were walking on air.

Just received my second pair of this shoe today. They can't be beat for comfort and slip resistance. I work in a restaurant and am on my feet for hours, often in wet/greasy areas, and these shoes have been the most comfortable work shoes I have ever owned. I have noticed improvement in my posture and some toning in my legs and rear. Can't say much about the durability (typical Skechers issue) but I will gladly pay for three or four pairs a year because they are that comfortable.

I have this shoe in both black and white and wear it nearly daily. I am a mom with psoriatic arthritis and plantar fasciitis that acts up. I really haven't noticed weight loss, it is the cushioning that is so wonderful. They are durable and comfortable when you get used to the new feel. I love them! With these Skechers I order up a half size.

I was "sketchy" about getting these shoes, because Skechers are usually too narrow for my toes. Then I figured "Why not? Free return shipping with Zappos." I'm so glad I did. I love these shoes. I've been wearing them for a couple weeks now, and they are probably the most comfortable shoes I have ever worn. Only took a few minutes to get used to how to stand in them. I can't say they've helped with toning all that much, though it does feel as if they're helping stretch muscles that maybe I haven't been using properly by how I stand normally, but as a victim of plantar fasciitis, I can definitely say I am having no pain when I wear these shoes, and my feet are not hurting me when I take them off. I loved the Rykas because my feet didn't hurt while wearing them, because they give excellent support; however, the moment I stepped out of them I had a lot of pain. Not with these shoes. And I would say just order your usual size. Honestly, I think everyone who always has to order "a half size up" is just fooling themselves with what size they actually wear. Get fitted at a store before you buy any shoes. These fit me perfectly in my size, though even with an extra wide they were a bit snug in the toe box at first, but after wearing them for a couple days, the leather formed nicely around my pinky toes. And I love the fact that I finally found a pair that is completely black. Needed a new pair of work shoes, because I'm on my feet most of the day, and these fit the bill.

I'm on my feet for hours at a time, doing volunteer work. I ordered these shoes to try the shape-ups in a work-appropriate style. The slip resistant soles were important too. I don't know if I'm any more toned, but I know that my legs, knees and back don't hurt even after a long shift when I've worn these shoes. I've had no problems with balance or walking in them, but I stand and walk with my feet pretty straight, not toes turned in or far outwards. I didn't even do a break-in with them, just put them on and wore them for at least 8 hours the first day. They aren't pretty but that doesn't matter for the use I put them to.

This is a great product. They are the most comfortable shoes I have worn to work. I highly recommend them to anyone who has to be on their feet for any length of time.

Great shoes! After working, as a nurse in training, for an 8 hour shift my feet weren't tired. While others complained that their feet were sore I recommended these shoes to them. In addition my leg muscles feel toned! Thanks Zappos for a pleasant shopping experience.

I love my new Sketchers! I belong to a Curves for Women in North Carolina. Shape ups are becoming the work out shoe for a lot of us there. Highly recommend trying them. You will get use to them after just a few times. Also want to thank Zappos for the quick delivery and special no shipping offers.

As a waitress who walks over 20,000 steps a day (according to my odometer) I was starting to develop knee pain, and these shoes have been worth the investment. They relieve the pressure and it feels like your walking on air.

These shoes very good when on your feet all day! Zappos is the greatest when making exchanges. I had shoes in three days by ground shipping.

was afraid at first to buy these shoes for fear that I might not be able to keep my balance. Happily that was not a problem,love love love them. Was surprised that a work out video comes with these shoes. Did the 15 min work out it was great. I am a medical assistant and wore my shoes at work and it helped take the stress off my feet and low back.

I bought this shoe to wear at work - for very long shifts. Excellent results - very comfortable. Great support and helps with posture, reducing fatigue. I did not buy them for the "workout". You probably need to go to the gym for that...but the support and comfort are superior. Great shoe.

These shoes are super comfortable to wear on some days at work, but not every day for 8+ hrs. because they really work as they say and they would leave you really sore, also if you have weak ankles like me, it would be risky to use them so much at work. Superb slip resistance.Other than that, very good shoes, I had plantar fasciitis and work as a waitress at a high volume restaurant, these are the only shoes that helped my heel pain and even made it disappeared.

I love these shoes! I get the same great workout as I did with MBTs, with the added benefit that Skechers come in wide sizes.
