Great shoes to relieve stress on joints, for people who are on their feet all day. Walking in them definitely works out the leg muscles. I recommend them for people working in wet-floor environments working long days.

I bought these shoes for work because I need the slip resistant soles and I absolutely love them! I think they are rather unappealing to the eye, but the comfort more than makes up for it. I haven\'t really noticed any difference regarding my derriere and thighs but I didn\'t purchase them for that reason alone so it doesn\'t matter to me. I just wanted a comfortable pair of slip resistant shoes for work and found them. Awesome!

When I got my shoes, I wasn't sure I was going to keep them. After getting used to them, I love them. They have become my most comfortable shoes and I have a lot of shoes!

I have been wanting a pair of Masi's for years. I was not happy with the price. The Sketchers are more reasonable, although the Masi sale prices are similar to Sketchers. The Masi shoe has a bigger rounded bottom. I found it a little unsteady. The Sketchers are very comfortable, stable, and I can feel body parts I forgot I had. They do seem to work parts that have been unused for some time. I suggest you start out slowly in wearing them until you get used to them, but I do recommend them. I am normally a size 7.5 medium and I purchased a size 8 (not wide) and found them the best fit. I wear them all the time now and can’t imagine using other sneakers. I don’t miss my New Balance cross-trainers. I’m still leery of the lacing area. Most previous shoes with this type of set up break. I would prefer the laces to go through the leather and use metal O-rings. Time will tell.

This shoe is very pricey, but if you don’t want to go to a gym this is the ticket. I got the Zappos work shapeups and have been using them just for walking for now. I don’t know that I could make it an eight hour day in them just yet.

This is what I think. Although these are comfortable to wear, they completely fell apart with in three months. I maybe wore these maybe ten times. They are pure gabbage do not waste your money on these, and to boot if you do have a problem as I did there is no one you can go to. I am so dissappointed i will never get a pair of sketchers again Robert N.

These shoes are suppose to shape your butt and legs while walking and they are absolutely killing my feet. My ass is sore and my hamstrings are sore as well - I think I will just diet. These shoes suck.

My first pair of Shape Ups were wonderful. I work in food service, and they really reduced the aches in my feet and lower back. So I was excited to get a second pair. Unfortunately, they make my feet hurt. So I will return them and try again. Sigh.

Well made shoe, but does run narrow. I wear a wide width and the WW shoe is not wide enough. Can't say enough good things about zappos.com. This is one of the best web sites there is - period!

Searching for a nursing shoe that would be kind to my feet on a 12-hour shift, I tried these and quite a few others. I found these unremarkable for comfort, clunky (I felt like the Bride of Frankenstein), and very heavy. I imagine some of the fitness benefit must be from lugging these foot-weights around all day! Some of my shorter coworkers do love them dearly, but I ended up going with the New Balance WW1100 - half the weight and low profile.

I work in a very large, busy restaurant and am over 40 years old. Got these to try and help with knee pain. I don't think they've hurt, but they have definitely slowed me down. You just can't rush in them because it is as though you are walking in sand. I do think they give my legs a workout, especially the backs. I have mixed feelings, but remain optimistic.

I wear these shoes in a very busy large restaurant for work. They are pretty comfortable, although they do make my feet feel tired. I find myself rolling back onto the heels a lot if I'm not consciously trying to remain on my toes. I do not think that they "shape up" anything on my body. I would say get these shoes because they are comfy for running around work, but a lot of other shoes can do that. I wish I hadn't spent the money on them, regular work sneakers would have done the trick.

This shoe looks better off than on. It is loose on the heel. I have a slightly narrow heel and feels rather awkward however if it weren't for the loose heel I might keep it.

I have used these shoes for years. The 2 most recent pairs have had the soles peel off within the first weeks of wearing them. Otherwise, I love the shoes. There must be a production problem. I have contacted the company directly and am awaiting a reply.

I ordered these sneakers based on the review. I put the sneakers on and walked from my living room to my kitchen. I have sciatica and my back started hurting in that time. I am returning these sneakers today.

I tried these because I used to have the Mary Jane Shape-Ups (three pairs in a row) but these were nowhere near as well made, and nowhere near as supportive. As I have developed foot problems in the last year, I found these shoes caused terrible over-pronation and even though it feels like there is arch support, my ankles were twisted so far inward I couldn't walk across the room.

I would not recommend these shoes! They put you off balance which makes your hips change position to keep you on balance and I was getting radiating pain from my hip to my knee after one week of use.

Before the Skechers Settlement, I loved their shoes, I could put them right on and go! Now, this is the only version of the rounded bottom they offer and I find them not that comfortable and very hard to get broken-in! I will not get this version again!

I was having a terrible problem with sciatic nerve pain in my right leg and hip and it was so bad that at times I could hardly stand nor walk. Physical Therapy did not solve the problem. Then about a month ago I put on a pair of Sketchers Shape Ups and now I no longer have sciatic nerve pain. Don't ever quit making them. I got my normal life back. I wear them all the time except for short periods of time when I have to get dressed up. I love these shoes. Now I'm looking for a pair to wear in summer in a wide width with this type of sole but that are not all leather because an all leather shoe is too hot for me to wear in summer. They are part "mesh" and breathe. I can find them in a regular width but not in a wide width. Help!

These are the worst shoes I've ever bought. I only had them for four months and they are already falling apart; they are not worth the money. Never again.
