Generally, I like the shoes I oder from Skechers, but the quality does seem to be slowly waning. This pair has small flaw, not worth returning them for, but these small flaws are becoming more and more the norm when I order shoes from here.

The shoe does everything it's supposed to do, but as a non-slip work shoe it puts a little too much style over substance. Don't get me wrong, I'm a style guy, but this shoe is uncomfortable and far too light if you're going to be on your feet for an extended period.

great style but short on comfort....very little cushioning or arch support for what is supposed to be a work shoe. There should be more to a work shoe than slip resistance and electrical safety

I work in a hotel doing various jobs from being a barista to server to kitchen expediter. I bought these shoes about 3 months ago and while they have some good qualities, I would not recommend them to anyone who is on their feet all day. First the good. The non-slip soles are very good and give good grip on the slippery floors I'm on all day. That said, these soles for some reason leave a constant trail on wet floors. They don't actually mark the floor, but it's like they are constantly dirty and leave a trail on wet surfaces. None of my co-works have this problem with their non-slip shoes and neither have I in the past. The other thing I like about these shoes is that they look pretty good for a work shoe. I can wear them to and from work without feeling like I'm broadcasting my occupation. The bad: These shoes took a while to break in for me. The way the seams are in the toe area make for a harsh crease when you step which took several weeks to soften up and even today is a slight annoyance. The biggest problem I see with these shoes though is that they are not very well cushioned. They are built like an urban casual shoe meaning that your foot is very low to the ground so there is very little cushioning. I have had many pairs of work shoes over the years and these will cause fatigue after half a day of work. If you do get these shoes, I highly recommend custom insoles. Durability has been very good on the uppers and somewhat good on the soles though the edges are wearing out already. I do walk quite a lot with these on the street too so that's probably why they are wearing out somewhat on the soles.
I'd also recommend:

I'm in the restaurant industry and have used Skechers in the past with varying results. I went back to them because of the more contemporary style they produce. The look of these shoes are great and the non-skid sole are true to form...the comfort factor though...was a joke. Skechers should actually be embarrassed for the poor excuse of an insole for these shoes. It was truly almost paper thin (not trying to sound dramatic or exaggerate)and I had to go buy new "work" insoles from a retailer. The shoes feel great now...with an added expense of $18 extra insoles. Had I known I would be buying a product to make these shoes feel remotely wearable...I wouldn't have bought them. Good Luck.

I tried these after wearing another brand of shoes almost exclusively for about 4 years. The size was right on and they look great. I have been wearing these shoes for a few months now and they are starting to wear. They were VERY uncomfortable at first so I bought a work insert and that helped a bit. I work about 10-11 hour shifts and these things still hurt my feet (I have been working in kitchens for 9 years so I know what to expect). I may give sketchers one more try but I switched shoes because the other brand started wearing out in a few months, these are too unfortunately.

These shoes look nice but the tongue slides down and causes the side of the shoe to cut into my foot.

These things are with out a doubt the most uncomfortable things I have ever worn on my feet. Ever. I needed all black shoes (non dress shoes) for a new job and these were one of the only pairs I could find on short notice. The job includes a lot of standing, and I was regretting purchasing these after the first day. Theres no cushioning in the shoe its self and the insoles are horrible. The insoles are so thin in the forefoot that after two days you could see the pressure marks of my feet and it looked like I had been wearing them for months. I replaced them with a pair of Dr. Sholls work insoles, and they didn't help at all. The soles them selves also are canted inwards which puts pressure on the inside of your knees and outer hips because it forces you to stand weird. I'm 23, 6', 185lbs and am in good shape so its not like its my body thats making these shoes uncomfortable. I've been looking for something else to fit my needs but haven't been able to find anything yet. I dread wearing these things to work everyday. The person who designed this shoe should be forced to wear them for eternity as punishment. Do your self a favor and find something else.

I own about 4 different styles of Sketchers. I pair that I bought online are Stylish, Comfortable, Durable. This is about the 4th pair of these that I've purchased. Love the style. Don't like buying shoes online because concerned about the fit. Ok, here's a little complaint. They fit more like a size twelve and the Oder these produce after a 14 hour day is unbelievable. The others didn't do this. I've used foot powder and that helps for a couple days. Doesn't mean I won't buy Sketchers. I just won't use as a work shoe. Wouldn't recommend as a work shoe. Thx Rob K.

I tried breaking the shoes in but everytime I wear them I get sores on both of my pinky toes, this must be a sizing issue as I always get a 9 wide. It must be that I need a 9 and a half but I had no idea as I ordered is online that they would be so tight. .

the cut of the shoe at the ankle was just the the right hight to irritate my ankle. the cut should have been higher like a boot or lower like an athletic shoe. the insole was comfortable and had a good overall feel.

Shoes look great feel great but my pair after the 2nd day noticed was coming apart. Contacted sketchers and they said i can ship them back at my expensive for them to look at it...but it could take 6 weeks to get them back...so I'm living with it. All the other reviews for this shoe seem good so i think i just got a bad pair but just wanted to share my experience.

I have worn this shoe before, switched to clogs for a while and decided to try a tie shoe again when things started aching that normally didn't. Big mistake. I just needed new clogs, not necessarily a tie shoe. These shoes were so uncomfortable they made me hurt WORSE. I gave them two weeks to break in and it was brutal. I bought $20 special inserts for better cushioning and support on top of the $54ish I spent on the shoes and gave it another two weeks. Still a fail. The soles are very hard, even the new inserts didn't help. I wish Skechers had a money back guarantee on their work shoes like Shoes for Crews. As kitchen workers, we work very hard in tough conditions and don't bring home a high paycheck so spending $50-$100 on shoes is a big deal. If you're considering this shoe, save yourself the $70+ and buy something else.

Last time I buy Sketchers and I have been buying them for a decade. Several pairs of shoes I have purchased online said leather upper and said nothing of synthetic upper. Then I get them and they are at least half plastic upper and they look like cheap ***mart shoes. Moving on and letting everyone I can know that you lie on your website.

At minimum, this is my 12th pair of the same shoe. I like them, they fit, they, typically, last about 6 months before breaking down, but there's 1 star on this one because I've been wearing these for about a week and the heel is broken down the way the others have done in 6mo. This has happened one time previously in all my purchases.

I would not consider this a work shoe. No comfort, no support and no cushion. Feet are better off in old shoes I have for work.

these shoes are the worst I have ever had & I cant return them. I don't think I will ever get another pair . I called customer support & the were rude and dismissive. i went to 2 of your stores and neither had my size so i had to pick the best size i could with out knowing how bad your shoes are. i have to wear them to work everyday and cant afford to buy a new pair...

If you work long hours don't spend the money on these shoes. I want to buy shoes that work without having to buy an insert. These shoes advertise a confort insole which is total garbage. The insoles are hard and stiff as a result there is no comfort.

I bought these to wear to work, these shoes are of poor quality ! They are made of more plastic than leather ! Had I known this prior to wearing them I wouldn't have ordered them!! The other style of Skechers that I own are made of leather , so I assumed these would be the same!!! They only have leather on the toe . It's to bad that they decided to go cheap on this style.. I wish I could have a refund !! Then I could order a different style !!
