Cool shoes. Caution, this shoe is not a sandal. They start smelling after a few weeks wearing them without socks. Another thing, got a blister on the heel after walking a long distance (2 miles) in them. Good thing is they are true to size.

These are comfortable and look nice, but are somewhat difficult to get on. Perhaps that becomes easier with time, but it was enough for me to return them. They are also somewhat tight across the ball of the foot, but because they're canvas, that's not a problem.

Formerly the perfect shoe, now only decent. Warning: In the last year Sanuk has made negative modifications to this shoe. The sole is a higher profile, the stitching is inferior, it's less wide, the footbed is more cloth-like and less comfy, and the soft lining is gone. It's still a decent shoe, but I'm disappointed and am looking for a new brand now.

These shoes are ok if all you are looking for is something flimsy to wear for a few minutes. They cause your feet to sweat after awhile and have little support or padding.

So at first I was a little concerned that they looked like slippers on my feet, but people assured me that was not the case. The major problems now, two weeks into my relationship with these shoes (or whatever Sanuk claims they should be classified as) are two fold: I've worn them about four times a week over about two weeks. The heel of the sole is starting to peel away from the lining that circles the shoe's bottom and water will definitely leak through there soon. (That's awfully fast that that happened; maybe I'm wearing them too much). Also, the toe of the right shoe got wet (rain puddle) this weekend. My feet didn't feel wet at all, so that was cool and unexpected, but it turns out that the right shoe has now shrunk a bit. That's right - the right shoe feels snugger than the left now. I've tried different socks, but that is clearly what has happened. I don't know what's up with that. Maybe it will stretch out again. Overall, the shoes feel really comfy and light, though almost too light. I'd rather have Vans Slip-Ons, personally.

I decided to try the Sanuk Standard after Zappos stopped carrying my all-time favorite shoe, the Onitsuka Tiger Tai Chi by Asics. I wear 11.5, but Sanuk doesn’t make half-sizes, so I tried it in 12. I found it was loose in the back and my feet kept slipping to the front and crowding my toes. Asked Zappos to exchange it for size 11, but after a day of work my feet were cramped even more. So I sent back the 11s (Zappos graciously made an exception to the no-returning-worn-shoes policy) and decided to give the 12s another chance, hoping they would break in over a week or so. It's been over a week now, and my feet are constantly cramping at work. My big toe experiences so much friction that I've worn holes in two pairs of socks. The edges of the foot hole also seem to be fraying at an alarming rate. They're definitely worn in now, and I don't think Zappos will take back another pair. Sigh. Going to try the Rata Vulc by Vans (they actually do make half-sizes) and hope I have better luck.

I wanted to love these, I really did. So much that I bought two of them. It didn\'t work out, though. They\'re every bit as comfortable as advertised, but they smell. They smell awful. I was wearing these sockless in 35 degree January weather and had to wash my feet after taking them off. They stunk from the second time I wore them. I go sockless often, previously in a pair of leather driving mocs. I grew up sockless in Vans. I don\'t remember anything stinking as quickly as these did. As a result I can\'t wear them, especially now that it\'s warm. They\'re completely useless to me. I\'ve never thought I had particularly stinky feet, never had a problem sans-socks before, but I can\'t go near these shoes.

First time I have tried this brand and was very disappointed in the quality--they are very cheaply made and have virtually no arch support. They're being returned to Zappos.

They can be a little difficult to get on, but once they are on they are extremely comfortable.

The Standard is a great shoe. Very light, very comfortable and very stylish. Easily the best shoe to wear while relaxing, but easily able to wear them out.

I love these shoes and want more. If you can get away with wearing jeans to work, then you'll end up wearing these all the time. I normally wear a 10.5, at least in Nike running shoes, and got a 10 in these based on other reviews. I think I could have gone with an 11, but they would have been very loose...wish they had half sizes. Very comfortable, minimalist shoes.

These shoes are amazing! I bought a pair for my husband and I this past summer, and they are like wearing slippers. Much more comfortable than a flip flop but just as breathable. I bought yet another pair for my Dad. Amazing. Highly recommend!

The Sanuk feels tight at first and then after a dozen or so wears they fit comfortably. Very comfy shoe.

Hey guys, I work at a surf store that sells several different kinds of Sanuks, and I'd just like to say that Sanuks, along with most shoes (or closed toe sandals) WILL stretch out the more times you use them. I am a size 10.5, and I bought a size 10 which of course felt a bit snug for a few days, but after a week and a half they fit perfectly. I bought my Sanuks 2 years ago and still have them to this day.

I bought these for my husband and he absolutely loves them. That is awesome, because he is so hard to shop for. He gets tons of compliments too.

Wow. I took these out of the box 24 hours ago and I've only taken them off to sleep. Super comfortable, lightweight, and a great fit. I wear a 10 1/2 - 11, and the 11 fits great. I tried the Vans, but they feel too narrow for me.

Great looking, comfortable shoe! I bought this shoe for my husband to go with shorts and khakis in the summer. It's a nice alternative to flip flops. He says it's very comfortable and goes with a lot of things. Looks great on him!

Bought these for my boyfriend as part of his birthday gift and he loves them. The grey color matches with a lot of colors which made them a pretty versatile every-day shoe. And let me tell you, he wears them almost everyday!

Started off snug but broke in quickly. Became my go to shoe this summer. Seems like I'll get a couple more seasons out of them.

Definitely recommend and they do have the comfort of conforming to your feet like sandals or flip flops, and they also seem to provide more cushion than Converse All Stars (similar looking shoe). Pretty much as-advertised.

This was first time buying a pair of Sanuks and I am completely hooked. They are the most comfortable pair of shoes that I own and they even hold up after being on my feet all day. The white is pretty hard to maintain and I have not found a good solution to keeping them looking new. I have tried throwing them in the wash a couple times (no bleach) but nothing much changed. That aside these are my favorite shoes that I own.
