Love these shoes. They have the look of an oxford so they are in style, and they are even more comfortable than my NB walking sneakers. Wish I had had these this summer when I was walking around Paris! They are definitely casual shoes, though - I wouldn\'t wear them with a suit - but they work well in my business casual work place, where jeans are accepted.

Has the look of what's in, and the comfort of a sneaker. Put a pair with slim dark jeans and a boyfriend jacket and city-ready wear plus. With a pair of leggings and a slouch long sweater, casual dinner out steps up a notch. And did I mention comfort and support? I bought two pairs - black and cream.

Attractive and super comfortable. I stand all day working with kids and these really help lessen sore feet and legs.

My feet are finicky and hard to fit. I have a wide forefoot, a narrow heel, and Morton's neuromas on both feet. So I rarely find shoes that I'm completely happy with. But I am thrilled to have discovered Aravon. These shoes were immediately comfortable (though I'd have liked them a tad wider), so comfortable that I took then on a two-week trip to Ireland only a week or so after I bought them. On that trip I never had a problem--no blisters, no pain. I'm just hoping that New Balance expands the Aravon line. The shoes are much more attractive than the usual athletic shoe and much more comfortable than shoes of most other brands. (I do think New Balance might have supplied longer shoelaces. The laces were so short that they kept coming united and had to be replaced). I usually have to buy much more expensive European shoes if I want a good fit. So it was also good to find a relatively inexpensive shoe that works for me. As always, Zappos service was incomparable! Thanks, Zappos and New Balance.

I purchased these shoes several weeks ago. They're very comfortable! They have felt great from the moment I put them on; no break-in period. I'm on my feet and running around most of the day in a medical laboratory. The insole looks like it's made of good stuff, but I popped them out and slipped in my custom orthotics. I was afraid the shoes would look kind of granny-ish, but I've gotten lots of compliments from my co-workers about how much they like my shoes.

Ordered for my mom, who actually can walk very little, but needed wider shoes to keep working at it. She says they are very comfortable and leave room for her toes to move. They were comfortable even after she had them on sitting in a wheelchair most of the day

By far, these are one of the most comfortable shoes I have ever owned,in the same category as Mephisto but a bit more comfortable for the check book! The first pair I ordered was small, so maybe they run small; sometimes i am a 38, sometimes a 39, in these I needed a 39. If you are planning on doing a lot of walking, these are the shoes you want!

Let me begin by saying I had surgery and have a screw in my ankle. I was planning a trip to Paris and wanted comfortable walking shoes that didn\'t look like big white American sneakers. These were perfect. From the first time I wore them, they were comfortable and I didn\'t get blisters or sore feet. I tried an 8 1/2 wide and a 9 regular. I ended up with the 9. These shoes are worth the price.

Best shoe I've ever worn. Gives support in all the right places. True to size and width. I'm happier with the shoe than I thought I would be. I have major back trouble, and this shoe gives support right where I need it. I can be on my feet all day without pain due to the shoe.

This is more a review of Zappos than of this shoe. I received it on a Monday, it is a little too small (my fault), it seems like a very well-made and sturdy shoe, also good-looking, so i called Zappo\\\'s and told them i needed a larger size, this was late in the afternoon. The very next day the replacement shoes are at my house, i haven\\\'t even had a chance to box up the original pair. The customer service is not only speedy but it is extremely polite and professional. I just love shopping at Zappos, every online store should be this way.

Finally, a shoe that fits right out of the box. I wear a size 10.5, & B or D width. I tried the 'B' width, too narrow and very stiff. I searched Zappos looking for Aravon D width and found this. Zappos' ordering and returning system is the best on this planet, completely stress free. There are other shoe shippers out there, but none to match this company.

I have bunions and beginnings of hammer toe but a relatively narrow heel. These shoes almost fit in wide and I liked the style and support for walking and gardening, but I ended up having to go with a men's wide. When will they start making women's shoes that are fashionable, but with a wide enough toe area?

This was a really good looking shoe. I take a 8.5/9 and they didn't have the 9 so took the 8.5. I couldn't even get the shoe on. Have to return it. Seemed very narrow and at least a half size smaller. Luckily, Zappos is fantastic about returns.

Wished these shoes had fit. They were comfortable but not quite wide enough for my foot. Not only is my foot wide but I have a very high instep and just had foot surgery. Too bad these didn't come in an E or EE.

I like these. I don't find them as comfortable as sneakers like some other reviewers did, but overall feels decent. I have narrow heals with wider toes. The heal of this shoe fits well and my heal doesn't slip like it does with most shoes. I do wish that the toe area was wider.

After foot surgery, I needed better support in a tie shoe. These are very comfortable. Thinking of another pair in brown. Thanks, Zappos.

This shoe is designed to provide comfort and yet to look somewhat dressy. However, there are just too many problems with this shoe. First, it's 1/2 to 1 full size smaller than marked. It's also very narrow. Second, the material is supposed to be leather, but it feels and smells like plastic. Third, the collar is way too low and my heels constantly slip out of the shoe. The slippage is worse if you add your orthotics or arch support insert to the shoe. Fourth, despite being called a comfort shoe, the toe box is still too pointed and there is no arch support. So, these are many the major shortcomings -- what are the good things about this shoe? It's light and can still be somewhat disguised as a dress shoe (if you wear long pants). The shoe insole is quite soft and good for feet with metatarsal pain. Again, however, there is not much arch support.

This shoe is comfortable from the git go except that the heel is way too wide. I had a blister forming after wearing them for an hour.

I was disappointed in the way this shoe fit. The heel was too loose, and the style was not as attractive as a similar Grasshopper shoe I purchased last year for much less (unfortunately no longer available). I bought a wide for bunions, but I don't have large feet overall, and most of the wide shoes no longer have narrow heels.

Decent pair of shoes. Nice leather outer and style is streamlined, but after a month, I can tell that the the inside support is wearing out already.

I have trouble finding a comfortable shoe so I was amazed and very pleased that that the Aravon Farren is so comfortable. They are no things of beauty, but fit my requirements; big toe box, round toe, low heel.

I bought these shoes last year because I realized I didn't have a good walking shoe. They run a little short, so instead of my usual 9 1/2 AA, I got a 10. I wear them with orthotics. I just bought another pair for "safe keeping" since it's so hard to find a show that fits well. The shoe is very plain but I don't care, as long as it fits. I would recommend it, especially for narrow feet.

When I first saw these shoes in the box my first thought was back they go. I should add that I wear a 10W and do not like shoes that make my feet look big. My toes are often so pushed together that it really hurts! These shoes had a very wide and open toe bed. That was what I did not like until I put them on and walked around my living room. Oh my! I got a big smile on my face because I was not in pain. That is sort of the point isn't it? But how we ladies will suffer to look good. Well the end of this story is I am going to turn 66 years of age next month and I have decided that I should smile when I walk around. Will be wearing them to a part time job and I am on my feet and walking all evening. And smiling all evening long. Even my back feels better. I absolutely love these shoes. You will too. Be good to yourself and get a pair. You will not be sorry.

I have only worn these shoes a few times. They are very comfortable and a great change from wearing sneaks. They are a little dressier and just as comfortable. I have a wide foot and the fit is perfect.
