I purchased these shoes for a five day trip where I would be doing a ton of walking under all sorts of conditions. I tried 10 pairs of shoes before choosing these. These shoes have Vibram soles, fit wonderfully, are extremely comfortable and are dressy enough for a night out. The Achilles heel? Those doggone Velcro straps! Did Aravon not realize there would actually be a foot in the shoe when determining the length of the strap? Although the Velcro extends all the way down the side of the shoe, the strap is so short that only about a quarter-inch of the strap attaches to the shoe. This is not enough to securely fasten the strap for a full day. Multiple times during the day, the strap comes loose and flops around annoyingly. At one point the shoe flew right off my foot! Now I am forced to either fashion some sort of extender using Velcro from a fabric store, or send the shoes back. How much would it have cost to extend the strap an inch longer? Thanks for the convenience, Aravon!

These are the most comfortable shoes I have ever owned. I have relatively narrow feet, and the B fits great. I wear them to work, and on my daily walks because they are so easy to slip on. I have walked up to three miles in these and they still feel good. They work with a casual skirt or capri too. These are my go to shoes. They used to come in more colors. Bring back the gray and black combination shown in this picture!

Love these! I usually don't like mary jane style shoes but the thin contrasting straps and the zigzag make them more stylish and yet hold the shoe on comfortably. And my arthritic feet simply cannot tolerate the cute but thin soled, flexible ballet flat. This is a way for me to get a nice look without being crippled. Not the dressiest but good for everyday with capris, skirts. Aravon, bravo! A brand I will be coming back to. Zappos makes shopping easy too. If only they had a store so I could try stuff on.

I loved the look and make of this product; unfortunately, it ran small - which I gathered from other reviews - so I had ordered a half size up, which was still too small, and even though I could fit into it, the strap was too short. I am returning it for the next size up, and going to a wide size - hoping this will help the strap issue. It is a very well made shoe, and I have high hopes for my return.

Everything I could ask for in a pair of shoes: comfortable, even from the first wearing, room for my toes to move, nice color and a little flair in the metallic straps. I love these shoes! My only complaint is that the crossover strap on the left shoe is slightly short, so occasionally I have to re-cinch it.

Very comfortable, perhaps a tad large in length. Look about as close to professional as is possible with this sort of sole\/heel.\r\n Worn on European trip and stood up to much walking on uneven surfaces.\r\n

I need shoes that look good with a skirt that I can wear even though I have bad feet (bunions). These shoes solved my problem. They are very comfortable and they appear well made. I wear them 4 days a week and I'm going to buy a second pair.

The answer to my shoe dreams. Nearly as comfortable as walking in New Balance sneakers, but much prettier. I have big, wide feet and am prone to plantar fasciitis. This one lets me walk all day. Fits great right out of the box. Arch could be slightly more supportive -- but I have been trying on shoes for two weeks, off and on, and these are the first ones I'm keeping.

Love the new shoes! Uber comfortable, I can wear them all day long and my feet don’t ache at the end of the day. I’m a professional chocolatier so I’m on my feet 10-12 hours a day, not to mention the drops of chocolate that sometimes fall on my feet. Very easy to clean, great durability, one of the best pairs of shoes I’ve bought in a LONG time. The only thing I have a slight complaint about is that the velcro doesn’t stick super well.

I have terrible feet. They are wide, flat and bunioned. But I have the same desire for pretty shoes as ever other woman. So I was delighted to find that I could actually wear shoes that were also pretty. I've gotten lots of compliments on them, and I was delighted to see that they were finally also available in brown (well, tan, anyway; I would have preferred chocolate brown but at least they will almost go with my brown outfits). And it gets better than that. I could fit my half orthotics into them. A real winner. By the way, they are made by New Balance. Go New Balance! I'm calling these "moderate arch support", but with the orthotics they can actually be "excellent arch support."

These are adorable and comfortable. They have a removable footbed, and they accommodate my orthotics (though I had to go up 1/2 size for this). I had been looking for years for a shoe that was cute enough to wear with skirts to work, and comfortable enough to walk in (I like to walk over the noon hour), and would accommodate my orthotics. These fit the bill.

Love this shoe. I recently dislocated my right ankle and broke my right fibula; super painful! This is the only shoe that I can wear that provides me enough support post-injury (with room to swell) and is also stylish enough to wear to work. Love it!

Yes, these shoes were great! I attended a wedding in Ireland and wore the shoes to the wedding and danced in them all night. In Ireland the weddings go for a long time, not like here in the States where after the bride and groom cut the cake most people leave within 20 minutes or soon after that. They were also great for walking and sightseeing and walking on the cobblestone streets in Dublin, Cork, Galway! Slainte!

The Aravon Jodi fits just as it is supposed to. I wear a wide shoe and this fits just right with no rubbing. It is true to size. The adjustable strap keeps the shoe on while wearing orthotics. The shoe looks better than I thought with pants. The toe is pointy enough to look good and roomy enough to be comfortable. A tad more cushioning would make it perfect. Foot and back problems make finding shoes a real problem for me and I am very happy with Aravon\'s Jodi.

A very comfortable shoe. The straps adjust easily and provide a perfect fit. It\'s also an attractive shoe, prettier in real life than in the picture! Though I usually wear an 8D, I found a more snug, comfortable fit in a 9B.

The heel is not n AA heel, it slips up and down as I walk even though I have strapped it down to my feet. the cushioning is fine. However, the shoe should have been ordered half a size larger because my toe touches the tip of the shoe. It is a shame that I have to send them back. I would like to order another pair, half a size larger, but the heel will still be a problem.

I wear these shoes all the time! They are comforatable, don't fall off my feet, and look good. I did put a bit of extra padding in the footbed, but I have very fussy feet.

This seems to be a well made shoe with adequate cushioning. Unfortunately, I have to return it. I really need an 11N, the 11M is too big and clunky - the tan with metallic contrast is a great combo. If your size is available and you are looking for a comfy walking shoe, this is the ticket!

I bought these shoes right after I had bunion surgery. The removable insole was really helpful when my right foot was swollen but my left foot was not. Decent looking work shoe.

I like the style, but I wish they were just a bit more comfortable. They could use more insole padding, like the pair of Rita sandals I bought from Aravon. They're not as comfortable as New Balance athletic shoes. If the toe box was more square, they would fit better.

Brown version of this shoe is a nice combo of tan\/metallic. Toe box is wide but doesn\'t have much room above the toes. Still, it\'s a pretty good shoe for walking around town and sight-seeing.
