I bought a pair of Roos in July 2008, and they were like walking on pillows -- supportive on the bottom, soft on the sides. Unfortunately since then they seem to have switched design and materials. They felt stiff on the top and awkwardly flat on the bottom. I do have bad feet, though, so perhaps someone with healthier feet would have a better experience.

I am a faithful roos wearer, and have been for years. I loved the lotus style and pretty much now pick my pairs based on colors, I trust the brand so much. But this last pair is like a torture device. The heel in the back totally cut up and blistered my left heel so badly I have had to wear flip flops for days. I am still going to try and break them in with thicker socks, and the right foot shoe has all the comfort that I have known roos to provide, especially for my wide and short feet, so I have hope. The shoes are cute and the color is true to the picture.

I hated this sneaker. Unfortunately this is due to plantar fasciitis. I had developed a mild case of it, and started wearing these sneakers hoping they'd alleviate the pain. They caused more pain. So I hated them. It also had no arch support and I'm a severe under-pronator. Lastly, the color was atrocious, I just found it way too bright and attention getting (I bought them in red which was a major mistake). I just found the brightness unflattering and I regret purchasing them. My Puma's were a better support with my PF, they were the Puma: Cabana Racer II Wn's.

Dear Roos, please make more colors! I miss when there was yellow, green, purple, grey all in one shoe! I want gaudy footwear! With that said I absolutley love these shoes. They felt a little stiff during the first few wears but they are quickly squooshing to custom fit my feet in true Roos form. My shoes are purple potion and the colors are true to what is on my monitor. I usually wear a 7½ and that was too tight, so I returned for an 8. When the 7½ arrived there was a wad of manufacturing glue near the big toe of the right shoe. I tried pulling it out with no luck. Zappos was totally awesome about the "defective and half a size too small issue and worked everything out. Thank you Zappos and thank you Roos!

Love these shoes! Very comfortable, true to size, good arch, nothing too fancy- just old school tennies. Yay (and cool color)!

Wow, superior service and product delivery. We waited for 7-10 days for other products we ordered and had to pay shipping. Can't beat Zappos!

I love these shoes. They run true to size, so online shoe shop without worry! I bought one other pair of shoes from Zappos a few weeks before ordering these and I was pleasantly surprised after placing my order, that Zappos upgraded my shipping from standard to overnight for free just for being a good customer. Highly recommend the shoes and the site!

A friend at work purchased these from Zappos after I turned her on to this website. They were so cute in person, and the color is so perfect I asked her if I could order them too! They are great sneakers, beautiful pink color, and on sale to boot! Yay!

This shoe is a really bright color, and I think the pockets are a fun whimsical touch. They come in every color of the rainbow, so take your pick! They're slightly wider than normal shoes which is really great for women who have slightly wider feet like me. I was really happy that they weren't squeezing my feet. They're a nice fashionable walking shoe and really stand out for every outfit!

These are a blast from the past. I had some when I was a kid so I was excited to get them again as an adult. They feel pretty good, have pretty good cushion. They are not flexible at all, though. They have a similar look to Saucony Jazz Originals, but aren't as comfortable and not nearly as flexible. On the upside, they've got a cool little pocket. They actually feel great if you have to jog to your car, though I have not (and probably would not) taken them out for real exercise. But for kicking it and running errands, they are a good buy.

Love my 'Roos. They seemed a little stiff at first and are a little wide in the heel. I wear them with thicker socks, which definitely improves the comfort factor and reduces heel slippage. But the real story is Zappos customer service. My husband and I each ordered a pair of sneakers on Thanksgiving Day and chose the standard free shipping option. Zappos shipped our shoes on Thanksgiving Day and we received them on Friday - at no charge to us. Thanks Zappos - you guys are awesome!

I bought these shoes recently for my birthday. They are so cute! I had some Kangaroos way back when I was in first grade so I decided to go the nostalgic route and buy some. The color "Aquarius" was brighter than I thought from the picture online -- closer to neon bright. My only complaint was that the right shoe kept rubbing up and down against my ankle/heel and I got a nasty blister. This has never happened to me with a tennis shoe, only with strappy high heels, so I was a little disappointed. I think these were a tad too big for me, maybe half a size, but I didn't want to return them because they're so cute. Get half a size smaller than usual.

I like these shoes... they are a little darker fuchsia than I had hoped, but they are not red like they appear in the pic. They are comfortable and light weight. The color has bled a little onto the white part of the sole, and I have never gotten them wet, but it’s not too bad, just a tiny bit pink.

I am very happy with these shoes. Very comfortable and stylish. My only problem is that I wear a size ten and it kind of emphasizes my big feet. Other than that, I've got no complaints.

Some what disappointed in the make of the shoe, since it is only been about 4 months in wearing them, and already the rubber at the heal of the shoe has pulled off from the bottom making it very difficult in trying to glue it back.

I love Kangaroos and have owned many pairs, but for some reason, I have owned this pair for only a month or so, and the seams on top are already starting to tear from regular everyday use. But Zappos is great and so quick on their free delivery.

The footbed felt weird. Like there was a second arch under the ball of my foot. I wanted to like them. I have size eleven feet. Some shoes that look cute in size 7 look frightening when they're jacked up to size 11. I give these babies credit for looking pretty good when super-sized. I considered buying an insole, but it seemed like a lot of work, and I remember Saucony's fitting perfectly in the past so I'll probably go back to my old goodies.

These are not the best made shoes. The heel is wide but the rest of the shoe is on the narrow side. One of my shoes was glued on to the white base off center, proving they have no quality control. I loved the retro feel but these are not worth the money. I think I would keep them if they were priced for less.

It is a cute shoe, but the Saucony Jazz Originals, the style is almost identical except for logos, is a much more comfortable shoe. I can work my 12 hour shifts and not have a problem with tired feet with the Saucony brand. The Kangaroos are more of a hard bottom versus Saucony Jazz is softer and hugs your feet better and doesn't lose its firmness quickly. This is a lasting shoe.

I am disappointed in these shoes. The back of the shoe, feels hard like it will cut into my ankle. The shoes feel cheap. There is no nice soft padding at the side or even on the sole.

Can't go wrong with Kangaroos! I love the classic look and the little pocket. I wear these bright red sneakers with all black outfits so the red pops.

Seemed a little stiff at first (but I'm sure that was just that I forgot that new shoe feeling!) but by the 2nd day they felt fantastic. I have wide feet and find them very comfortable. Also my back doesn't get as sore if I'm doing a lot of walking. This is my 2nd pair of Roos and I have to say I think I've found my favorite brand.

Love these shoes, but I did have to return original order for a larger size. Zappos was amazing with their customer service.
