The different shades of purple in the picture aren\'t true to real life, but I love the shoes anyway. I bought them to replace an old pair that was just too worn out. I loved the free (and quick) shipping.

I love my Roos. I would definitely recommend these to a friend. I especially love that you don't see them everywhere, like you do some other brands (who shall remain nameless).

Great shoes! They remind me of my childhood...one of the reasons I got them, but they are comfortable also. I'd order from Zappos again, too; they have a lot of selection you can't find anywhere else!

I have been wanting a pair of 'Roos for a while but was hesitant to buy them online since I was not sure how they would fit/feel. I went with my usual size, and they are great. Love love love them!

Ah, KangaROOS. They were so hard to find, but now after I've hunted them down, ordered them from this website, and received them, I'm so very happy. They really are wonderful shoes. The style is amazing, so '80s, so fun! The pockets are flush against the shoe, so they don't stick out or anything. They are aesthetically superb. And functionality is excellent as well - the pockets are the coolest thing ever, with a velcro pocket over a zippered pocket so your hidden treasure won't fall out. I keep a buck or two in 'em in case I need to run up to the 7-Eleven for a Slurpee. I must note though, the fit is a little weensy bit small. You would do well to order a half size bigger than you think. And the back part that touches your ankle is a little stiff at first, which might cause a blister if you don't wear socks, but it's not terrible, and after wearing them a bit it softens up and is much more comfortable. Overall, I love this shoe. Nobody else has them (because you can't find them in stores around here), and they are a beautiful, retro, fun and classic pair of shoes. I will only wear KangaROOS from now on until I die.

Fantastic! I typically wear New Balance WX01 D-width running shoes, so I do have wide feet. These ROOS are perfect for wide feet. They're actually a tiny bit wider than New Balance D-widths. Other than the width, it's true to size. Don't expect to play tennis in these though, the soles don't bend that easily. It'll require some breaking in. And don't worry about the pockets being bulky, they're actually flush against the shoes. I personally don't use them at all.

I love these shoes. Comfy, cute, supportive. I highly recommend them. I\'ve gotten lots of compliments. They look great with shorts and jeans alike. I have flat feet and I like a shoe that doesn\'t make my feet hurt after a few hours of wearing them, and these passed that test!

These KangaROOs ares some of the best shoes ever made. They may not be as popular as Nike, but there just as nice. If you buy these products, you'll never regret it. I promise. If you need good arch support, you need these shoes. I highly recommend these shoes to anyone, from under 1 day old to over 100 years old. Anyone will love these sneakers.

I love red, and when I saw them on the feet of someone at the gym, I asked where she got them and she said Zappos! They are of good quality, cute, and the size is my regular size. I received them within a few days. This is a good price and no shipping costs, too!

Based on other reviews, I ordered my shoes a half-size bigger than I might otherwise, which was definitely needed. They are a snug and comfortable fit...now, anyway. These shoes definitely take time to break in; the soles are hard and inflexible, as is the heel. I'm sure this will help make them last, but I didn't take the time to break mine in and suffered blisters for it. Though they were described as fuchsia, they are decidedly bright red (the image is accurate). They are stylish and will attract attention! They also clean up well. I stumbled into some mud and was afraid I'd ruined my new shoes, but a little water and a paper towel was all I needed for them to look brand new again. I love the idea of the pocket, but found it uncomfortable to keep my key in while I was out. I'm glad I bought these shoes!

True to size. These shoes are fun! They take me back to my childhood when I had a grey/purple pair. They were hardy enough to handle the campgrounds at Coachella Music Festival, so I figure they will last me a good long time. The only thing I am slightly miffed about with these "Rockin Roos" is that you can't slide them off easily. You have to untie the laces and loosen them quite a bit to take your shoe off. Oh well, they bring enough "sole to the party of life" so I really can't complain much at all. Get a pair, see for yourself.

I love these sneakers! They're more a cute sneaker for everyday than for athletics, but so far they are comfortable and supportive and I believe they will be good for extensive walking. The Aquarius color is vibrant and I love the retro style. Zappos provided excellent service.

I love love LOVE these shoes! I was looking for a practical comfortable pair of every day shoes. Feels like I am walking on cushions. VERY COMFORTABLE! They are good quality too!

I never heard of Roos, but I tried them out based on the other reviews. I'm glad I did! They do run a half size small, but it was no problem exchanging them. I liked my gray pair so much I bought a black pair, too! I can not wear them in the rain. My toes will get wet. Nor can I run in them, but they are great for an everyday walking shoe!

Awesome shoe - Just wanted to say that I love this shoe. Right off the bat, you put it on and it is like heaven on your feet. I think I want to get another pair, but in a different color. Love them so much! Buy them. Love Roos; they remind me of my childhood.

First the positives: I wear a size 9M and these shoes don't make my feet look bigger than they are. I always get compliments when I wear them. Now the negatives: There's something about the arches that feels strange. I can't figure out if they are too high or set too far back in the shoe - they're just a little off. Also, be aware that if you purchase the red, the shoelaces that come with the shoes will be pink where the color has rubbed off on them. I'm keeping these because I've been searching a long time for a casual red shoe, but overall these are more cute than comfortable.

There is something weird about the arch of these shoes. I recently owned another pair of Roos that were totally normal, but these hurt my feet after walking in these shoes and there seems to be extra pressure around the ball of my foot. Just make sure you practice walking around in these before deciding if you want to keep them!

Shoes I remember from my childhood! They're great for working out or if you just want your feet to fit in with your whole retro vibe. Only complaint is that the color started bleeding onto the white laces almost immediately...but for comfort and style, they can't be beat!

This shoe is really cute and looks good even on a bigger foot. I didn't realize Roos have a cute side pocket too 'til I received them. Unfortunately though, they had very weird arches, were bigger in some spots than others, and the back of the left sneaker dug into my ankle. The search for a cute size 10 sneaker continues...good thing for easy returns!

I bought a pair of Roos in July 2008, and they were like walking on pillows -- supportive on the bottom, soft on the sides. Unfortunately since then they seem to have switched design and materials. They felt stiff on the top and awkwardly flat on the bottom. I do have bad feet, though, so perhaps someone with healthier feet would have a better experience.

I am a faithful roos wearer, and have been for years. I loved the lotus style and pretty much now pick my pairs based on colors, I trust the brand so much. But this last pair is like a torture device. The heel in the back totally cut up and blistered my left heel so badly I have had to wear flip flops for days. I am still going to try and break them in with thicker socks, and the right foot shoe has all the comfort that I have known roos to provide, especially for my wide and short feet, so I have hope. The shoes are cute and the color is true to the picture.

I hated this sneaker. Unfortunately this is due to plantar fasciitis. I had developed a mild case of it, and started wearing these sneakers hoping they'd alleviate the pain. They caused more pain. So I hated them. It also had no arch support and I'm a severe under-pronator. Lastly, the color was atrocious, I just found it way too bright and attention getting (I bought them in red which was a major mistake). I just found the brightness unflattering and I regret purchasing them. My Puma's were a better support with my PF, they were the Puma: Cabana Racer II Wn's.

Dear Roos, please make more colors! I miss when there was yellow, green, purple, grey all in one shoe! I want gaudy footwear! With that said I absolutley love these shoes. They felt a little stiff during the first few wears but they are quickly squooshing to custom fit my feet in true Roos form. My shoes are purple potion and the colors are true to what is on my monitor. I usually wear a 7½ and that was too tight, so I returned for an 8. When the 7½ arrived there was a wad of manufacturing glue near the big toe of the right shoe. I tried pulling it out with no luck. Zappos was totally awesome about the "defective and half a size too small issue and worked everything out. Thank you Zappos and thank you Roos!
