These shoes look great, and have the ease of being slip on. The only reason I gave the Ariat Sport Clog 4 stars instead of 5 in the comfort category is probably more a "me quirk" than a "them quirk." I like a LOT of stability and arch support in a shoe, and these are not super supportive, so they don't meet my ridiculously high standard. But they are really and truly comfortable. I throw them on with a pair of jeans and they look smashing. I highly recommend them.

This shoe/clog is too wide for my foot. I have an ancient pair that I would like to replace because the leather is now irretrievably worn out - I've gotten away with the distressed, worn leather look for many seasons with these but this year they've dropped down into the worn out category and I can't be seen with them on, not in daylight. I've just given Ariat a huge compliment - the sports clog is a quality shoe. So, what am I complaining about? The pair that I just ordered look and feel too wide on my feet - don't know why but sandal season is almost here, so I'll wait until next fall and order again, from a new batch, maybe (hopefully) I'll have better luck.

Having previously enjoyed wearing the high quality and feel of Ariat boots, I purchased the Sport Clog to fill my need for a kick-on casual shoe for running errands, heading out on a day of adventure at the coast or just hanging with friends. The look and quality of this shoe fit the bill perfectly! They do run larger than I recall from previous experience. I had to return the size 9 (my consistent size with little exception) for a half size smaller. Even though they now fit the length and toe-box well, the heel is very wide and still slips even with the application of Dr. Scholl's heel pads. Will continue to add more pads for a better fit. The shoes are snug going on and require the use of a shoe horn. Still, I love the look, feel and comfort of these great looking shoes!

Perfect for walking dogs & then heading out to meet friends. Only wish they were a little wider in the toe box b/c I have a toe problem on my right foot.

Gorgeous looking shoe/clog and they are great for work, paired with slacks. However, they are a bit narrow and start to rub my bunion (unfortunate effect of old age) after a few hours. Feel a bit narrow overall. Wear with thicker socks for best comfort.

I'm officially a 10.5 shoe but the 10 fit and were still a bit too big and slip off my heel as I walk. Still, they are stylish and discrete clogs which I really like. My feet tend to get really warm in them no matter if I wear thin dress socks or even no socks; I wish the shoe's breathability was better.

Good, casual shoe with jeans for winter season. I had the mule and was delighted to find the closed-back version! Comfortable, warm and stable with arch support. Runs large. I got a full size larger just to slip my foot in and now I wear with socks rather than knee-highs.

First time using Zappos. When I had to return them for a larger size, customer service was very helpful and took care of the entire process.. It was painless and the exchanged pair arrived the next day! My only reservation is that years ago I bought Ariats which I still have - these new ones look the same but are not made of the same quality that my old ones were, but I love Ariat so I'll live with these.

These are so utilitarian! They are a clog...so there is some heel slippage. I had to take an 8.5 in this (where often an 8 works) and a shoehorn is needed to get these on. The tan color is good. They are pretty comfortable, but they are not feminine at all! They are not cute!

More great shoes from Ariat. This is a great brand for comfortable shoes. These shoes, like many from Ariat, are a bit challenging to get on. You really have to wiggle your foot around to get it in. But once you do, it is worth it. They are very comfortable for walking, standing, and sitting. They feel a little tighter than expected, maybe running about half a size small.

I really wanted to keep this shoe, but my heels ever so slightly lifted out of the shoes when I walked. The forefoot fit well, and this was a comfortable shoe overall. I don't believe a smaller size would have fit the rest of my foot. I wear a 6.5 medium width shoe on a consistent basis, and I occasionally will size up a half size, but never down. I have very flat feet, so perhaps this has affected the way this shoe fit. Over time, Ariat shoes tend to conform to your feet in the fore and mid-foot, but I don't believe I could correct the heel fit.

I already have the black, and like it so much I got the brown. The support is good; I usually wear orthotics but do not need them in these shoes. My black pair has worn very well (about 1½ years old). The shoes are slightly hard to get on, but I know from my other pairs that the opening will stretch slightly to go on and off easily. The style is simple; nothing special but nothing irritating either.

I normally wear Danskos and really wanted to love these shoes. They look gorgeous in the pictures and definitely less clunky than Danskos. I read in the reviews that they run small, I normally wear a Euro size 38 (or about a US 7 3/4) so I ordered a pair in size 8. I also read that they run narrow so I thought they would fit my slightly narrower foot. Unfortunately, they were long enough that my foot slid forward while also being very narrow in the toes and so wide in the heel that my feet wouldn't stay in the shoes. I tried them with thick socks, to no avail with the wide heels. The footbed is very comfortable, they feel like Danskos in the places that the shoe fits, but I just can't imagine any insert or any way that I can make these shoes work. I have considered ordering a half size smaller but that wouldn't help with the reverse-duck-foot problem that the shoes had for me.

As a rider, I've worn Ariats for years...tall riding boots, Devon Pro paddock boots, Terrain H2O barn boots, and Hannah shoes. The most comfortable boots/shoes ever and I've always worn size 7B. But this style in 7 really slipped around on my foot. They would probably be okay with heavy, boot socks, but I planned to wear them with black tights or thinner socks with casual skirts/slacks. I reordered a size 6.5 thinking this style might run big, but they are too tight in the instep making them very hard to get on and are not comfortable. I'd say the size 6.5 are true to size. My plan was to reorder another size 7 to see if maybe the 1st pair I got was mis-sized. I'm so disappointed. The black/brown style (my preference) and the black in size 7 are both now sold out! Bummer! Thank goodness Zappos has such a great return policy.

These shoes are classic. I love the lines and look, but not sure I will keep them, as they are somewhat tight for me. I'm still wearing them on carpet to see if they will give a little. Quality is excellent! I think Ariat tends to run a little on the small side.

In their category, these are very comfortable shoes with a stylish toe for awhile. In reality, after a day of shopping in them, the heel height makes me ache. I think I'm destined to be a flats or elevated flats gal.

These are very stylish shoes. When I first tried them on, they felt tight, but after walking around in them for a couple of hours, at most, they molded nicely to my foot. My feet are very narrow, so most shoes don’t fit perfectly, but these fit very nicely and probably as close to perfectly as I find for my feet. The color is great and nicely imperfect. I wear them with casual work pants and jeans and they compliment both.

The first pair of shoes from Zappos were too big. I put off returning them for a long time because I dreaded what I thought would be a hassle. Wrong! When I finally called about returning the shoes, they were so nice and it was an absolute breeze to make the return! Zappos is fabulous! This Ariat Sport Clog also does not fit correctly and I will need to return. I will use Zappos, again, in future.

Unlike another pair of this shoe that I recently ordered (Black Deertan), these in the regular black make a weird swooshing sound when I walk. They fit looser across the top than the other pair as well. The stitching is also ragged across the top of one shoe. Maybe a quality control issue? These are attractive and extremely comfortable shoes. Maybe I will reorder and see if the next pair is better.

I tried this sport clog to replace the Ariat sport mule I bought 10+ years ago. My old ones still look fine but I like the updated stitched toe and wanted to try the closed back this time. This style didn't work for me at all. I am a solid 7 and these felt tight and narrow. I needed to use a shoe horn to get them on and just wearing them around the house for a bit to see if they would stretch left me with sore insteps. I will get the tried and true mule instead. Same stitched toe but for me, a more comfortable fit. Zappos service makes everything a pleasure. Even the disappointment of a return.

Left shoe was smaller than the right one, which is the opposite of how shoes usually fit. My right foot is my larger foot, so I questioned the quality control of the manufacturing. They also felt sloppy in the heel.

My size and width selections on the drop down boxes reflect the differences in the two shoes: confused. The two shoes did not match size-wise. The right was smaller. Also the little bump under the base of the toes was too far back, and they didn't have the arch support far enough forward either. Not so for the Timber color! (They were apparently made in different places because the inside packaging was different for the pairs as well.) So I will keep the Timber pair, and return the Black pair.

I recommend these shoes in Timber, not black.

Fit is very comfortable. Leather becomes loose very quickly so order down half a size. Shoe color was lighter than what was pictured. Shoe scuffs easily & looks like it's a year old after a few weeks of wear. Stylish but probably wouldn't order again because of scuff issue & price. Expensive for a shoe that looks worn already!
