Frye bags are well made and this one is no exception. It is a lovely color and would no doubt last forever but...it is heavy! Even empty, it is heavy. I've carried it three times and found the weight to be so uncomfortable that I am, sadly, returning it.

This is a large bag made of beautiful, soft leather. I have had ladies want to stroke the leather while I was in a check out line. The bag stands out even without flashy hardware. It holds everything you need and more. Very tailored and classy. I highly recommend it.

This is by far the most beautiful bag, and true to its name - "Vintage" - that Frye has made. The variations in the leather and the detailed stud work make it a classic for years to come! You will not be disappointed in this great purchase.

I like this, but it did not suit my needs. This bag is huge! It is great for laptop etc., but for someone with keys, a wallets etc, it feels like luggage. Too bad because it is sharp. In fact, I am trying to justify keeping it, but I probably will not...oh, and it is heavy.

What a beautiful tote! I am so happy with the grey color, and quality of the leather outer, and durable interior: they match my Frye Western ( grey) Daisy Duke Vintage boots. This is a great combination. The bag isn't that heavy,as others reviewed, and it does hug close to your body, once you have the bag on shoulder which is very nice. I am keeping the bag!

I am in love with this bag. I debated purchasing it without ever having seen it in person, but I took the risk and could not be happier. It is heavy, as some other reviewers mentioned, but it is such quality leather and the color is amazing. It is very roomy and when there's not too much in it, it lies very close to the body which was key for me as I didn't want some huge bag sticking out when I had it on my shoulder. I can fit my laptop in it so my boring old work bag has been retired. I cannot say enough good things about this bag. I get compliments on it constantly.

I love this bag! It is a gorgeous color. I have it in black. It is weathered looking. Very sturdy. Took about a week for it to break in. Holds its shape well. I get complements all the time. I feel like a million bucks every time I use it! Worth every cent! Blows away any leather Coach bag I've had!

A little rustic, very elegant. The maple color is gorgeous, very deep and rich. The bag is a good size for everyday stuff plus something a little bigger, like a laptop. Well worth the money.

This is a large bag made from soft leather. I wish there was a zippered pocket in the center. But overall this is a great bag.

I love this bag. It holds a lot, fit nicely over the shoulder or on your arm. It stays closed with the magnetic closing so I don't have to worry about it being open either, even when I have it down.

Beautiful bag - leather is gorgeous. I was looking for a book bag/purse to lug around campus but it just felt a little too heavy. I bought the Dorothy Handbag instead because it looks more like a purse but can still fit my laptop and some books.

Frye simply put makes an beautiful product. I love my 2 Frye bags. They feel amazing, hold up well to all sorts of abuse and only get better looking with age. These bags are huge, huge, huge, look at the videos, huge! I will never by another Coach bag again - they are that good!

I love Frye bags. The smell of their leather is to die for. I originally ordered this in maple. What I got looked nothing like the pretty maple color on the website. It was so dark brown, it almost looked back. Zappos was awesome and sent me the tumbled grey to replace it with. While I love the purse, it is not grey at all. Taupe is more like it. I am not a beige purse kind of girl, but this is too pretty to return. If it had not been so nice, I would have sent it back due to the color issue. I wore it today and in the sunlight, no trace of grey. It is still gorgeous but it is still not the pretty grey I had hoped for. I am used to big bags (Campus Frye for example), so this bag was not heavy for me, but I can see where it would be to those who normally wear smaller purses. Would be great for traveling as well. It is a tall purse so does flop over when set down (unless you fill it mid-way up).

I love the appearance and the size of this bag. However, I do agree with some reviews stating that it is a heavy bag to carry around all day. Holds a lot but the size actually makes things harder to find. Love the Frye brand and will purchase more, just going with a smaller bag next time.
