What can I say? can't go wrong with strands, especially strands in black! One more added to the collection!

Of all the AE shoes I've purchased so far, this is probably the best built (with a black St. Johns a close second). Just about everything is spot on, with only one or two minor glitches, such as some ragged pinking and some brogueing that wasn't completely punched out. But overall, it's a solid, nicely made shoe. And though it's the same size and on the same '65 last as my Park Avenues and 5th Avenue, it seems to fit just a little better. The olive is also an usual color. In most interior light, it looks black, but you can definitely see the green in brighter light, especially outdoors. It feels comfortable, and I'm looking forward to wearing it for years. Pretty nicely done, Allen Edmonds.

This is an excellent example of a classic American shoe. The style and craftsmanship is certainly beyond comparison. I give them my highest recommendation you will not be sorry.

I designed a custom pair just over a week ago and received them today....way before I had even imagined they'd be here. I bought them in black with the blue Danite soles as most of my suits are blue, grey, and black. The fit and look are amazing! I look forward to wearing these for a lifetime.

Well-made as always, this olive cap toe is bit more casual than more traditional shades. The shoe is solid and comfortable, and the quality of leather is top drawer.

Very comfortable shoe for walking and standing for extended periods of time

Just added these to my collection of AE shoes and they don't disappoint. Very comfortable and great looking (at least for a conservative dress shoe). Worth every penny.

I purchased this shoe about a month ago. This is my second pair of Strands. I ordered these because of the color that was offered. Like my first pair these shoe don't require much break-in and fit well straight out of the box. They are stylish and modern looking with most clothing items (casual of dress).

I have 6 different styles all built on the "65" last. Love the walnut color perfect for that dressy casual outfit.

I have never owned a pair of Allen-Edmonds before and I can say these were really nice. They were comfortable immediately out of the box and required no break-in. There were some scuff marks but after some cleaning and shining, the shoes were absolutely amazing! They definitely stole the show from the rest of my outfit!
