I love the color and size. I am only 5' and the bag holds a lot without overwhelming my smaller frame. I like the organizing pockets. Downsides: The lining is not holding up well against school binders. The logo on the shoulder strap is wearing off. I wish the laptop padding was thicker. Overall, I would buy it again.

I bought this as a Christmas gift for my girlfriend who uses it as a work bag. It is a decent size and has numerous pockets to tuck belongings into. Her only complaint was that the shoulder strap was not long enough and didn't like where the bag sat on her body because of that. The strap is also sewn onto the bag not clipped on so buying a longer strap isn't an option. However, this is an overall well made product.

I just received the FlapJill Courier bag, and overall it's a great bag and looks pretty spiffy. The pros: It has tons of great, secure pockets that keep all your things handy, but secure enough you don't have to worry about things falling out or being stolen while you're en route somewhere (as long as you zip all your outside zippers). The bag is padded very well both for the safety of your belongings inside as well as for your comfort while carrying it. I'm a small person (4' 11"), and I can adjust the crossbody strap to be exactly where I want the bag by my waist, and I love the extra little strap that can secure the bag around your waist so it won't bounce so much if you have to rush to your next gate at the airport. A few things that disappointed me: I ordered the "Silver Grey" color because in the photos on Zappos, that color looked like a pretty, snowy, white with grey design and grey strap. No - Silver Grey is, indeed, grey all over. I thought at first that maybe Zappos sent the black bag, because in the photos I think the black bag looks kind of grey, but the design woven in to the front of the bag is darker than the background color, so I think it must truly be the color I ordered. Darn. I don't know if the material just photographs brighter than it is, or if Osprey has changed what their Silver Grey looks like. I was so disappointed the bag wasn't that pretty snow white that I almost sent the bag back to exchange it for a different color, but as my husband pointed out, it's a nice enough grey, and there isn't a white option available anyway, so does it really matter? Besides, grey won't show the travel stains so easily as white. Moving on...second, the little straps that you can swap out do NOT have any reflectivity to them, despite what the video showed (FYI, if you get the Silver Grey, the straps that come on the bag are a sort of olive-ish/lime-ish green, and the other two exchangeable strap colors are dull purple and grey) - I guess it's not a huge deal to not have the reflective ends, but I always appreciate any little feature that can make you more visible in low-light conditions, especially as a very short pedestrian. Third, the bag does not have an interior cinch feature like the video shows - however, when you close the flap, there are little fabric "shoulders" at the ends of the opening, so I think the bag contents will still be secure when the flap is closed. I think Osprey must have changed some design features since the video was made, which is a little bit of a bummer because I watch those demonstration videos over and over to make sure I can really visualize what the product will look like and how it will function - so when things don't match what you thought you were getting, even little details, it can be a let-down. I know, I know, Zappos is great about returns and exchanges, but I'd rather just get what I think I'm getting the first time. Lastly, the little key strap in the front pocket has a sort of cheap plastic fastener, which looks like it might not last as long as the rest of the sturdy bag - on the other hand, the plastic is a bright red, making it easier to spot against the grey when you're in a hurry. So - though I was disappointed in some of the details that didn't turn out the way I expected, I still think this is a cute, highly functional, comfortable bag with awesome organization, so I'm keeping it. I can't wait to use it on my next trip as my allowed "personal bag" on the airplane!

I love the look and feel of this bag. The zippers are in the right places and the interchangeable straps are cool. The shoulder strap drop is only 15in. Even when it's hanging on my shoulder it only goes down to my hips. No way to make this cross body unless it's sitting on my shoulder blades. Bummed. Would've loved to keep it. If you're tiny, this is a great cross body messenger bag.

I am not at all happy with the description Zappos provided: fits up to 15" laptop. Not even close. I measured a 13.5" laptop sleeve. This is the 2d laptop/messenger bag I am returning because the Zappos description said it would fit a 15" laptop bag. I have had good luck with Zappos but I don't think I"ll be returning to this webpage.
