I ordered a pair of Rockport Aderner and a pair each of Florsheim Berkley and Rockport Conall. I wear a 9 1/2. They came right away, two maybe three days. Tried them each on and walked on carpet only, like it says (I swear, really). I wanted these for work where I tend to have to walk in varying environments, like the office, parking lot, the flight line and shop floor. The old Bostonians I had were very cool, but took a toll on my feet when spending a long time on the floor. When I got to my desk, I liked to take them off to let my feet out for awhile. I needed something more comfortable in all these environments. I chose the Aderner, and have no regrets. I put them on in the morning and don't take them off 'til I get home. Had them for a month now. Easily the most comfortable shoe I have worn. I returned the other two and Zappos refunded my credit card, and paid shipping both ways. Good deal.

Being a teacher I stand most of the day so I needed a shoe that was supportive, comfortable and stylish. I got it! I have owned Rockports before and have never been disappointed. These shoes have a true fit and have broken in very quickly. They are light, but the soles are well cushioned and by the end of the day I do not feel like I have been wearing bricks all day.

The shoes fit comfortably and don't take very long to stretch and become comfortable (had to deal with new shoe ankle abrasion for only two or three days before my skin was up to the task of the back of the inside ankle). The gel-like sole is amazingly comfortable, and despite a low heel makes me feel taller than I'm used to. Only one downside. I'm a EE width and I felt that the sole was slightly too narrow, not enough to make it unwearable, but enough to feel like there's a lack of stability. The problem is that the next width is too wide, guess I just need custom ones. And of course, this is a solid shoe, so beware sweaty feet in hot weather! Very nice shoe and I'll continue to pay attention to Rockport from here on out.

These are my husband's most comfortable shoes. This is his second pair, and they lasted a long time the first time around. His foot is very narrow, and he usually wears an 11B, but these work in 10.5M

I am so pleased with these shoes. I've spent much more on shoes but never had anything as lightweight, flexible and comfortable. The feel is more like a slipper than a shoe. I normally get a D width, but D didn't feel quite right. I went up to the W width and it makes all the difference.

The shoes are a gift for one of my sons. He liked the first pair so I decided to get him a second pair for his b-day. He likes the fit and especially the style.

I bought these shoes for my husband. He has large & wide feet and has trouble finding comfortable shoes. He absolutely loves these shoes. They are very light. He recently wore them for over 12 hours and said his feet never hurt. He said this at least 4 times in that 12 hours. So needless to say, I gotta believe they were really comfortable.

The shoes were delivered quickly. They are exactly as pictured. High quality and fast delivery is what I love about Zappos shoes.

I have a wide foot and I like my shoes to feel immediately comfortable upon putting them on for the first time. I don't like "breaking them in". These Aderners were lightweight, sturdy, comfortable and stylish from the start. I have had them for a short period and am completely satisfied with them.

These are the most comfortable shoes ever. They are very light weight and easy to slip on and off. Though I consider them to run true to width, they may be slightly narrower than others. For me, they are just perfect. If you are looking for an attractive comfortable shoe that can travel easily, take days of wearing and still feel comfortable, these are the best.

The shoes look great and feel amazing. I live in a place where it is very hilly and I can't say how much these shoes alleviate foot pain while keeping a sharp look.

Rockport's Aderner is a very classy shoe for a slip-on. Rockport's Alfrew is it's lace-up near-twin. Both use leather with very fine stippling so they appear smooth without being glossy, like luster or pearl photo paper. The general shape is long and narrow, which can be good for those with wider than average feet, yet they don't squeeze my toes. The soles feel a bit odd initially but are comfortable for standing for a few hours. They're also not loud on hard floors. I've always found Rockport's stiffness to be just right. It's not too stiff to be painful, but doesn't become floppy after just a few months. Overall it's one of the few slip-on shoes are nice enough for a suit if you're averse to lace-ups.

Really comfortable shoes. Rockport, in general, makes great shoes, but these are more comfortable than most of my athletic shoes.

Even considering these shoes was a risk for me. I have a pinched nerve between two toes and walking in the wrong shoes is a pain for me. I typically wear Merrells, but needed a dressier shoe for more formal events. I went to the Rockport store in San Francisco and found these shoes. They didn't have my exact size in the style I wanted, but based on other styles that did fit, I could tell that they would allow me pain free walking. I ordered them from Zappos and have been very happy. They have a great firm foam foot-bed and that is slightly raised under the ball of the foot to give metatarsal arch support that keeps me pain free. I wore these on a four day trip through New York City (lots of cold concrete) and found them extremely comfortable. I rented a tuxedo for a wedding and returned to my hotel room to swap my shiny tuxedo shoes for these between the wedding and reception. They provided comfortable transportation for both running and dancing. I am very happy with these shoes. I went down one-half size because these shoes are slightly larger than marked.

Pure comfort -
Great all around shoe. Super Comfortable! Good choice if you're looking for an everyday office, to dinner, to sports bar shoe. Or a great choice for guys who only need one pair of dress shoes for weddings and funerals. A little less formal looking than a traditional lace up black dress shoe, but almost as comfortable as wearing a pair of gym shoes. Felt a little snug at first but as most leather shoes do, they form to your feet after a day or two of wear.

The Rockport DresSport slip-on are a bit too casual for some. It is a good comfortable shoe OK for travel which is what I bought them for. But I prefer a shoe (loafer/slip-on) that I can also wear with a suit as I travel often and prefer not to carry extra shoes. These are just awfully casual looking, never work with a suit or even a sport jacket and dress pants. May be OK with a pair of Dockers and they look ok with jeans. I have two pairs of the DresSport oxfords and I can usually get by wearing them with a suit if it is not a formal event. But this slip-on just will not work. Rockport got close on this but they sacrificed a bit of suitable style (pun intended) and came up with more of an earth shoe style. They should have stuck with the sole/heal design on the oxfords. I may send them back as I can find a much less expensive shoe to wear with jeans.
