These are not like the original 527s I bought a few years ago. They have greatly reduced the thigh area. I had three pairs of the regular 527s wear out on me recently. Bought these only to find they were way tighter.

Totally wildly inconsistent. They're tight in the thighs, so I sized up a waist size and it seemed 10 inches larger; I couldn't keep them up. The length is completely inconsistent, too; a 30 leg was actually longer than a 32 leg. The colour consistency was awful, and it faded on first wash.
If I hadn't washed them I'd send them straight back. What a piece of junk. Remember when Levi's made good jeans?
