Unfortunately this jean did not meet my expectation and I am a Levi lover. I have gained a little weight so I went up 1 pant size as I have with other brands and good Lord these jeans are tight as the dickens. I was very uncomfortable. I'm sure they'll fit fine once I get the weight off but in the meantime, back of the closet they go.

'Super skinny' - I think not. They fit me like regular jeans. Yes, I am a very thin man; however, to call them super skinny is misleading. They are Levi's tightest fit. That said, the quality is top notch, and the fabric is sturdy with a little stretch. I still prefer Asos, Topman or Lipservice jeans personally. I like 'em tight and stretchy. But these are good to have. They are my loosest jeans.

My how the mighty have fallen. These used to be my favorite jeans. I've had three pairs over the past three years. Dress em up with a peacoat in Dublin. Dress em down with a denim jacket in Austin. Do what you want. They WERE phenomenal. I wore holes into them. The more I wore them the better they looked. I wanted a new fresh pair and I received Mom jeans. Crotch is long and awkward. Ankles are more of a 511 fit. Thing is, I actually really like the 511. I like to pull out the 511s when its hotter and don't want my jeans sticking to me. I like to roll them up and wear them with some sperrys. This is like the ankle fit of a 511 meets the Mom fit in the waist. Overall, if you're looking for a good pair of Levi's go for the 511. If you're looking for a tight mean pair of skinny black jeans. Sorry.

These are no longer the 510's I loved. I was sent the new model aka 510 Skinny (not 510 Super Skinny), and they are basically just slim. My advice: if you are looking for skinny black jeans, Levi's is no longer the company for you.

As another reviewer wrote, these jeans do not fit as described--the material is beautiful, but they sit at your hip, not below your hip like the 511s and like the 510 are described. If you like that style/fit, great, if you are like me and don't, buy 511s.

These jeans get a seam in front of the knee to your ankle. Every time that I buy jeans from Zappos, they do not fit like the jeans I get at the Levi's store. I have to press these jeans after I dry them every time. These jeans are also baggier around the waist than the Levi's store ones. Get the discount here if you do not care. But if you are like me and would rather spend the extra money to get a nicer fit, do not buy these jeans from Zappos. They are the real thing, but feel like knock offs.

Terrible fit, 32L was more like 34L, zipper barely functional, clearly a defect pair from the Levi’s Outlet and overall absolutely terrible quality compared to every pair of Levi’s I’ve had.

The pants were exactly what I wanted. I ordered a size 33X30, which is my regular size. The pants lacked at least two inches of closing in the waist.

I would rate this much higher if the pair I bought was consistent with the previous pair. For some reason one pant leg is slightly wider than the other. Something changed in quality with the midnight color and I’m super disappointed. And it’s probably too late to return because these were hemmed.

I am returning these - and the same ones in black - because Levis has changed the rise and the shape of the leg on the bottom of the pants - much narrower than before. I usually buy 511 skinny, but they have been discontinued, and these do not work as a replacement.

It's a little difficult to write a negative review for a style that I'm not accustomed to, i.e. true "Skinny Jeans"; so that will be my disclaimer (I gave real Skinny Jeans a try..). I'm 6' 3" 170#'s & athletic; I tried the 33W x 34L; I found these to be way too tight, and the stretch material to be far too inadequate for the tightness. The style was also not one that I'll revisit. I like true "Slim Cut" jeans with good stretch. If they had used additonal stretch material, these jeans probably would have been more comfortable, and those people that like the true "Skinny Jeans" cut might like them more. Thanks, as always, to Zappos.

I've purchased several pairs of these jeans over the past year for my son and they fit well. This latest pair in Rigid Dragon was the exception. Ran very small. Fit tight but after washing they were unwearable. For some reason this wash runs much smaller than the other washes we previously purchased.

Here's what's wrong with Levi's 510s: They don't fit anymore. Six years ago I ordered seven pairs. They all fit perfectly. Over the past three months I've ordered eight pairs. None of them fit the right way. 32/32 (my regular size) now fits like 34/32. When I ordered 31/32 the waist was OK but the length was about an inch and a half shorter than 32. Then I ordered a 31/34 figuring that the waist would be small enough to equal a 32 waist while the 34 length would be long enough to equal a 32 inseam (all based on my previous ordering experience). Though my calculations were pretty good, the new jeans just fit sort of OK, but nothing as good as my old 510s -- the length was OK, but the waist was still a tad too large and the whole fit from waist through thighs was just too big and baggy. And the waist sat way too high. I have since read (in various online postings like this) that Levis changed their whole 510 fit in 2013. Why they changed it is beyond me. They had a perfect thing and they just screwed it up. It's like they took they're skinny jeans and adjusted them for fat people. Well, I hope they have a lot of fat people buying them, because I won't be. I've moved on to shopping and buying other brand jeans. Too bad because I really liked the fit of the old 510s. I would have kept buying them forever, but Levis has lost me as a customer and, from everything I read online, they're lost a lot of other customers just like me -- the real 510 customers, who are skinny, not fat.

The 510s do not fit like they use to. The fit is much looser than the past. The denim feels cheap and the overall look is very poor. I wish Levi didn't start cutting corners on what used to be the best piece of denim they used to make.

These are NOT anywhere close to all the other Levi 510s I have purchased for my son. These are baggy and the crotch is way too long. My son washed and dried them hoping they would shrink and fit better but that didn't change a thing. These have to be an off brand that is posing as Levi's!! Either that or Levi's quality has gone down the drain.

I do not know why these are still called 510's. They are a totally different fit now. Definitely not skinny jeans. That is a bummer.

They don't have enough spandex in them to be this tight. It fit my waist perfectly but almost cut the circulation off in my thighs. I couldn't even walk. If you are muscular Do not get these!

They must have changed the cut on this jean - I have 3 pairs right now, had them 2 years, and can't seem to buy a new one that fits like the others... it's higher waisted and not tight in the legs like it used to be... not "super skinny" anymore just "skinny" Well I need super skinny Levis! You don't have that anymore!! Which is a bummer!!

Not sure what happened here. It's difficult to find jeans for skinny, long legged guys. I purchased the only pair of 510's Super Skinny Fit that Zappo's had and they are perfect. Got an e-mail saying they got another shipment so I ordered a second pair. Same size. These are way too big. I measured against the first pair and they are a full 3 inches bigger in the waist. The Levi tag says they are the size I ordered but something went wrong somewhere.

I've always bought 510s, but the last few pairs have gotten worse and worse. These don't fit me at all! I bought the same waste size and inseam I always have and these are way too long and super baggy. I am very dissatisfied. I'm looking into other brands from now on.

Rigid stretch has no stretch, very rough and stiff. If you wear a 32, then buy a 32. In all other 510 I buy two sizes down due to the stretch, unfortunately these are going to be returned.

If you want to waste your money, then these jeans are for you. I normally wear 511s, but I decided to check out the 510s. I liked the fit a lot and everything else when I first tried them on. I saw that the washing instructions called for washing in cold water and drying on low -- preferably separately, which is exactly what I did. Well, the results could not have been worse. I have never seen a pair of jeans shrink the way these did. They shrank to the point of being as skin tight as women's jeans. Even worse, the dye in the jeans came off on everything they touched until I threw them in the trash. Aside from the ridiculous amount of shrinkage, I have never seen the dye in a pair jeans ever rub off on anything in my entire long life. This was definitely a new and unpleasant experience. These jeans are just poorly made.
