Color: Clean Dark. Great pair of pants. Very comfortable, and they fit perfectly. Not a skin tight pair of jeans (which is what I prefer), but still retains the feel of skinny jeans. It was hard to find a pair of black skinny jeans on Zappos that didn't use white string cotton for the outline of the back pockets. White string on back pocket and black jeans just looks too weird. These pair of jeans were as close as it gets to a dark back pocket outline, but it didn't bother me much. If you're looking for black skinny jeans, you can't go wrong with this one. The price and style makes your decision a no brainer.

Review for Zappos VIP Points(What's this?)
These jeans are good quality and have a little stretch to them but unfortunately I don’t like the tight fit in the groin that slim fit jeans have. If you like slim fit I think these are good jeans that look and feel pretty good. I’m 5’8” 145lbs and 30x30 fit me perfectly. I’m unfortunately returning due to not liking the slim
Fit style.

I wanted skinny, but Levi's currently doesn't make skinny, so I tried slim fit and that's what I got. They're being altered into skinnies. They seem to be a throwback to better days in that they're a thicker denim than other jeans. That means they'll last long, and depending on where you live they could be hot. I won't wear them in summer, given my climate. The sizing was perfect, no surprises (there shouldn't be). No baggy crotch, no extra room for thick thighs, no catering to the horrors of men's fashion, these are just good Levi's jeans.

I bought this dark wash pair in a 32x29. I have another pair of Levi's 511s in a 32x30, and somehow this dark wash is longer in the leg (I'm 5'8" for reference). Also I would recommend to buy a size or two up from your usual waist size. These also aren't quite as comfortable, but the material feels a bit tougher.

The fit is just what you'd expect from the 511's. The denim is on the summer weight side. They do stretch out a lot...you might want to order down if you are between sizes.

Great pants. Like the color. Good fit. I'm 5'7, 120 and the 29/30s fit great.

This Levi's 511 skinny style is all my boyfriend wears and they always look and feel great. However, be warned that the material used for the custom dark khaki and rigid yard dye color is not wearable. So stiff! Way stiffer than the other colors. My boyfriend and I were laughing because we could get them to stand up on their own! Maybe it was just the pair we purchased, but I wouldn't risk it again. Also, the clean dark color has this weird, dramatic whisker pattern on the back that isn't clearly shown in the pictures. We sent them both back.

Thought they had some spandex in them like a black pair I bought (same number) they don't, so not as much give as I'd like in a pair of skinny jeans but I've gotten used to them and they are fine.

Bought these for my boyfriend and for my brother and they are so fabulous! They hug my boy's buns just right and come in just the right length. I did have to go up a size so that he could fit into them. They also are very rigid at first but they get worn in. I love this color.

Liked these very much but had to return them as the length seemed at least an inch longer than indicated. Will reorder with that in mind.

I tend to be pretty picky about the fit of my jeans and had been wearing more expensive raw denim jeans for the past few years. These Levis aren't quite to that level, but they're a great fit for the money. I purchased approximately one size (2 inches) up from what I usually wear and they fit close to perfect. The next pair I get I'll probably do only 1 inch up from normal to see if they're a bit better on the waist and still fit my legs. They have a bit more give than the raw denim jeans which is good for bike riding, plus I have fairly muscular, if slim, build. Overall quite pleased. A nice fitting pair of jeans that don't look too baggy or bulky, but don't look ridiculously tight either. I'll definitely buy another pair.

Rigid so I suggest you buy 2 sizes bigger than what you normally wear. Nevertheless, great pair of jeans!

Great pair of jeans for a slightly dressier look. The black is as black as black can get - hard to imagine these fading. The denim is a bit stiffer than usual at first. The waist measurements run normal (accurate). Would definitely recommend.

When I first got these jeans, they were very hard to get on. I bought them in the same size as I usually buy my 501s (32x30). A couple of wears later, they fit much better. Remember they will stretch a bit, so, even if they're a little tight at first, they'll relax a bit, so consider buying them in your normal size, instead of a size up, if you want them to fit snugly. I noticed that Levi's tend to run just a bit long in the inseam; I generally buy them an inch or two shorter than other brands, but I also like my jeans to fall with no break.
I have fairly muscular legs, and the fit, while tight, was perfect for skinny jeans. The 4 stars for comfort are because these jeans are kind of tight in the crotch.
Lastly, remember that all Levi's jeans are unique, and no two fit alike, so you might want to buy 2 or 3 pairs, try them on and see which one you like best, and return the others -- Zappos makes this really easy.

They are rigid, as others have said, but more importantly they run small. The waist feels almost 2 inches smaller than what I expected. Order a size or two bigger so that you can breathe while seated.

I purchased these jeans for my 16 year old son who's growing up not out. It's difficult to find extra long jeans for slim people, whether male or female (I'm a size 6 with a 34 inch inseam). It seems manufacturers expect tall and big rather than tall and slim. These long length (32x36) jeans fit perfectly. Not too snug and just right. My only concern is we have some Levis that wear much more quickly than Levis we've had in years past. It remains to be seen what our experience with these will be, but I'm optimistic. I'm just waiting for Zappos to carry 36x38 for my husband, and size 6 boot cut longs for me. It would be helpful if they categorized woman's jeans by lengths too (petite, medium, long) so we didn't have to open every selection to determine if they come in longs. The only reason for the 4 stars, is we prefer jeans with a bit of stretch as they're much more comfortable. I'm thoroughly impressed by Zappos customer service. I tell all my friends what a pleasure it is to be able to shop from home without a worry as to return shipping costs. Zappos prices are also quite competitive. Great job Zappos and I applaud your employees! I'll be ordering from you again soon!

These pants are great really durable. Get a size bigger, though; they fit kind of tight. They fade a little when you wash but these pants are a great great buy. Worth the money.

The pants are good but the stitching comes in beige. 3D Onyx is advertised as white stitching. Other than that they are fine pants.

Jeans are dark but not raw looking...sizing is quite tight. I wear a 34 from most vendors and I needed a 36 in these and they were still snug. No vanity sizing here. Thinner denim so I wouldn't wear them for a long day out in the cold winter but otherwise, the 511 style is slim and chic.

Levi's undoubtedly are the best jeans ever. If you plan to purchase these Skinny jeans be aware they run small. Good thing is, men aren't going to freak out if the Number Sizes are larger!

These jeans are a really great wash. They do run a little bit smaller than usual Levi sizes in the 511 fit. The material is a bit thicker than most, which could explain the tighter fit. I'm a 28 waist, a 30 in Levis, but I could have gone with a 32.

I normally wear 32/36, but the waist was too tight, so I had to exchange them for 34/36. I think a 33/36 would work better, but they don't come in that size. Also, they wear a bit too low. I wish the waist was an inch higher. I bought two pairs. The "Dark Tunnel" are Fall weight, but the "Sky" are Summer weight. I wish all jeans were Fall or Winter weight, as I'm tired of the predominance of thin denim. Nonetheless, the Levi's 511's are still the most practical and stylish skinny jeans on the market. I just wish they would increase the waist rise by a 1/2 inch or inch and upgrade the denim to Fall or Winter weight. Also, one other note. I wish they offered them in 38 length. The 36 length look fine, however it'd be great to be able to order a longer length for those times when I want to wear a nice thick cuff to create a 50's or 60's look.

I have bought these same jeans at a department store, same size and style, but these are slightly different, for the worse. The red tag on the back is changed, the Levi patch is a different (and tackier IMO) red, and worst of all, the waist is quite a bit larger. And they're super wrinkled, like all of Zappos jeans apparently are before they're mailed out.
Nowhere on the Zappos listing does it indicate these are some different version of the rinsed playa 511s. Even the barcode numbers for the department store and Zappos jeans are the same. But there are two different numbers on the back inside tags. On the department store pair this is 4100213632, then 8022701300262 below that. On the Zappos version it's 4100218515, then 4129401400224. For all I know, those are unit numbers that are different on each pair. But these are not the same jeans. If I didn't know the better department store version was out there I would have kept these. As it is, they're going back.

I bought these for my husband. He wears the same size (36) in Levi's and all his other jeans. So I ordered his size (36) in these 511s but he could not even get them around his hips. That was weird. They run very small and slim, I guess. I am giving three stars because the size is not accurate. A waist size is a waist size. Back they go!

These are way different from other 511s we've bought in stores. Too skinny and stiff, sizing is off. Way too small.
