Great jeans! One of the best I have ever used by far. My size is 28 on a 501 but this one I had to go with 29. Looks great! And what to say about Zappos service. They can't even be any better. The best online store for me.

The Levi's 511 is a great fit for my son who is athletic and trim. They are not too baggy or too snug. He loves them.

I bought the 'natural black yarn dye'. Just so you all know, they are not black...more of a sand color. I kept them (I love the 511's) but Ii just thought I'd warn you...not black, great fit.

I needed the next bigger size

My husband always buys 511. This is his 10th pants.

I have worn Levi 513 jeans for several years and they fit me just right. Apparently the 513 is discontinued but no one at Zappos would confirm this nor would anyone recommend a similar fitting Jeans style. the 511 Levi will do but the legs are too tight. I will probably try a Levi 512 next.

Traditional Levi’s feel

Great pair of jeans. Definitely low rise. Length is good, but they’re not as slim fitting as I would have expected. I’m usually a size 31 waist. They were too big. I returned and replaced the first pair with a size 30. I should have returned the 30 as well, because they are also a little too big and because of the stretch/spandex fibers are not staying on my size 31 waist. They will probably require a belt. I should have ordered the size 29. I am not a 29, nor do I like wearing belts. Again, great jeans, but order at least one waist size smaller than you normally would, maybe two…

Good fit but thin material. I'm 40x30 and 511 slim fit well.

My husband likes the fit of these jeans. They are smaller in the waist, and thighs, and fit much better than any of the other styles of Levi jeans.

I have 5 pairs of this style jeans only had an issue with one pair. One of the back pockets ripped at one corner after wearing them one time. Other than that I am pleased with them. Did have a problem with shipping took me three try’s before I got my order delivered.

Great fit...but the zipper keeps falling down!

Slim fit and looks great!

be aware that the "throttle" color looks nothing like is does here in the picture, unless they sent me the wrong jeans. The pic here is a medium blue, the pair i got in the mail were as dark blue as you can get.

Fit was as expected but the color listed as “Black” is in fact a dark navy color. Very misleading.

Fit was as expected but the color (Heading East) is much lighter than what is shown on the website. They’re pictured as a washed out black but in reality they are gray in color, a bit misleading.

Pant legs are looser than expected. I wouldn’t buy the new khaki style again. I have a pair of 511’s rinsed playa that fit excellent.
