Ordered this pair and another pair of 514s of the same size at the same time. The pants leg of this pair a good 1"+ longer than the other jeans of the exact same size.

Ordered 2 pairs of Levi 514 at the same time, this pair was true to length but the waist and thigh was cut significantly larger than the other pair of the same size.

The baby chick says "cheep. cheep," and so do I. Extremely flimsy material, doesn't stand up to a day's wear without looking like you slept in them. Stay away.

Terrible quality. I've been wearing Levi's as work jeans for years. This pair will be my last. Have worn them for a bit over two months and about 3 weeks in a long tear appeared close to one front pocket. No biggie, patched it, onward. A couple of weeks later, another tear on the other side so now my inner pocket contents push through, no kidding. I just literally tore the denim with my fingers, testing out the quality. Terrible, paper thin. I wear these once a week and it seems I'll be needing to replace them with Carhartt work pants already. Very disappointing.

The length is much too long for a 29' length. The quality control is poor. I own other 514's that are 30' in length and these are at least 4 inches longer.

Zappos sent exactly what I ordered. Twice. Unfortunately, the product has apparently been changed by Levis so they are not the same product as I have previously ordered online. Although Levis claims these are the same cut and fit, just a different name, they are lying. I already owned two pair of these jeans, different colors than the two I ordered from Zappos. The original two are even different from each other in color. Otherwise they are the same exact size and they both fit perfectly from day one and still do a year later. The two I ordered from Zappos are the exact same size, but they do not fit at all. They ride 1-2 inches higher in the waist (so much for claiming to be low-rise jeans) and the inseam is 1-2 inches longer than what is on the tag. These two 30 inch inseam jeans have about a 31 1/2" inseam. Just to make sure it wasn't a fluke, I had Zappos send me two more pair. Those have the same issue. Not Zappos' fault as far as I can tell. Levis has sold them a bum product or they have purchased fake Levis from some illicit source. I'm guessing it's Levis' fault. Needless to say, I am returning all four pair of jeans and recommend that Zappos makes Levis own up to their shoddy quality control on what they shipped to Zappos. Sorry Zappos. I like your company, but I cannot buy jeans from you that are defective.

This pair looks good online but sizing is a problem, I already took off the tags which makes it impossible to return. I bought the same style but black color. It fits just fine just don't understand how this doesn't.

This is not the same style 514 sold from the Levi's site. These jeans are 54% cotton and 46% polyester. I have never seen that in a pair of jeans and was disappointed.

Too much stretch, the wrong color blue, and the rivets are polished. They look and feel like mom jeans. Note that this is only for the "covered up" style. I have other 514's that I love. Like most Levi's, the style depends heavily on the weight and texture of the material. Stretch jeans are nasty.

I purchased five 514 Levi's twill pants before this purchase. This black one I just purchased did not fit like the others. The pant legs are bigger which makes them look baggy instead of straight/slim straight.

Very poor design. Levi's is just a waste of money. Not even close to rugged - wore three times and the crotch split open.

This is the 2nd time if purchased these and the 2nd time they've shrunk so small after washing (in cold water) then that they are in wearable. Really disappointed. The black ones I always order at the same time have never given me a problem. If you order this color order at least one size to large!

I used to like these jeans. Then, they lost all consistency. I bought three pairs at the same time, in three different washes. The one fit, two did not, and they were all the same size/length. The fabric weight was different for each. Overall, Levi's is making crappy denim these days. I think they spent too much money buying the rights to name a football stadium, to have any left to focus on quality and customer experience. Do not buy.

Very dissatisfied! Wore these once, washed them inside out in cold water, dried on low heat setting and these jeans faded horribly! They look 10 years old! Haven't worn them since. Will not purchase these in black again.

: Horrible....my husband is a 28 x 32 waist...cannot find jeans in this size. he works construction and after a month or two, they all developed holes. Not the quality Levi has had over the years. Cannot find his size in any of the "rugged" styles, used to be a loyal customer for over 30 years of the ORIGINAL...but now these are button fly only in his size. Most likely needing to switch brands.

The style and color of the jeans was great. I returned these jeans due to significant vanity sizing. The inseam was over 5 inches more than the size I actually ordered. It's so tough to find jeans clothes online when manufacturers don't accurately size the garments.

I purchased a pair of these slim fit jeans in a store and they fit my son (size 29:32) perfectly. When he tore a hole in one pair, I purchased four more pairs from Zappos. Each of the four pairs fit totally differently, despite all being Levis 514. The inseams on them all were slightly different too, with the "standardize" wash being a half inch longer than the rest. They were also not as slim fit as the 514's I purchased in the store. Because the standardize pair was a bit longer, I kept them and ordered another pair. Unfortunately, the next pair was shorter than the first and I will have to return them.

BEWARE OF THE INDIGO! I love the look and fit of these jeans. The 514 slims are a great fitting jean and I have bought them in many colors and never had a problem with durability. The indigo, however, began to sprout holes in the pocket after literally one washing. I thought it might have been a fluke and that I missed the holes or must have caught them on something. I bought another pair and thoroughly checked over them for holes, but found none. Again, after one washing I had holes in them. I don't what kind of chemicals they are using to color these jeans but it's effecting the integrity of the material.

Don't buy! They fit great but the quality is terrible. I bought one pair and after wearing them once a hole formed at the corner of the back pocket. I called customer service and they sent me another pair. (Thanks Zappos!) Now about a month later both back pockets have holes and the crotch is ripped open. I can't believe how poor the quality is.

This is the third pair of Levis I am returning to Zappos. I have been wearing Levis since I was 16 years old, and have been a 34/32 for 35 years. None of these new Levis fit. Too long, too big in the waist, or both. I guess there is no such thing as quality control anymore. It is sad to see a great old American company shipping its production to places like Bangladesh and Egypt, and having an inferior product to show for it.

I am sending these jeans back. The texture of them is not like any jeans I have ever seen. It is shinny, and feels plastic or papery. There is also a strange chemical smell. I thought about washing them, but then I could not return them. Not taking the risk. Also did not fit me. I wear 38 Levi's and these were too tight at the waist.

My GF ordered these for me from Zappos. As usual, Zappos is the absolute best. I wish I could say the same for these jeans. They are advertised as being slim and fitted in the seat and thighs. Mine aren't. Mine are extremely loose in the seat and thighs. When I stand straight there are flaps of extra fabric that jut out from my thighs on each side. It looks ridiculous... Did I get a bad pair? I have slender legs, so maybe if you have massive thighs it won't bother you... However, I've found a number of reviews on Zappos and on the Levis site complaining of the same looseness. I'm not sure whether it's a bad pair or the way all of them are... Unfortunately though I'll have to send these back.... Oh, and BTW, mine came in stretchy fabric. I spent a long time trying to determine if the fabric was stretchy before I ordered. I couldn't find anything. After they arrived and I double checked the description on Zappos I found this cryptic line: Standardize: 98% cotton, 2% elastane. I guess elastane means it's stretchy? Not sure what standardize is supposed to mean... I guess if I have one complaint about Zappos it's that their descriptions aren't always very thorough, which is why I often have to go to the manufacturer's website to find follow-up information about the product I'm interested in. I wish Zappos did a better job at their descriptions, but then again they stock a zillion products, so it's got to be hard to nail each description perfectly. Okay, rant finished. Wow, I actually found something to complain about Zappos after about 6 years of buying from them! ;)
