Sizes run different (well more exact) than other US brands. My jeans size is 32x32 at Banana Republic and Kenneth Cole. In this one I needed 33x32 for the same size. Other than this it's perfect.

The 514's by Levi's are the best jeans they make. I've been looking for a quality pair of these in many of the local retail stores, and 2 things were consistent; the stitching was worn/not there, and the jeans were either pre-ripped or at one extreme when it came to color (either really faded, or too dark). I previously had 2 pairs of 514's that fit and looked great, and when I saw the same style on Zappos, I jumped at the opportunity to purchase a new pair. Just exactly the style and fit I was looking for. Thanks Zappos!

The Fit of these Jeans seems to be right on I ordered my size a 36/30 the fit was perfect the thing I'm a little weary about is they feel a little lite or thin should I say. They're not a heavy weight denim so time will tell how long they last. but right now I'm happy with the fit and the look.

The issue with the pants is the stretch is almost too much and does not retain its shape. Was not able to buy this exact name of color, called kale, and found another color by the name of cleaner, which appears to be exactly the same from a different online retailer. Hopefully the 35 x 30 will be better rather than the 36 x 30

heavier denim than I expected but they are quite comfortable.

Faulty zipper. Like the jean otherwise.

The fit was as I had expected, maybe a little lower rise than I had thought it would be, but definitely not low rise. I got Tumbled Ridgid which was exactly what I needed for wearing to work. These have no whiskers, fading, or worn out spots, so they look a little less casual for work. The stitching is also all the same golden color, which some may like. I actually would have preferred the 2 slightly different hues that I sometimes get on my 527s from Levi’s, but this was OK too, and made them more work simple.

The picture for the Midnight color when I purchased was completely wrong. The jeans are actually a very dark, almost black color, and the same color all over. Not the faded on the thigh look of the picture. But fit was good, the 2% elastene gives a nice stretch.

Levi's are notoriously inconsistent with sizing due to haw they cut denim. Order multiple pairs because every pair fits differently. Stretch fit denim makes some of the manufacturing inconsistencies less noticable. Not uncommon to have a full inch difference in length or width around but.t

One of the better fitting low rise Levi’s Weight of denim appears to be a bit heavier... a plus.

Usually order these jeans and this past pair, sizing seemed off considerably. Waist seemed a size too small and length was at least 1" or more too short. Nice style and color, crotch area and pocket area wears out quickly on these pants unfortunately.

Only worn them once but like the fit and the style. Trying to inject a more fashionable look than Dad jeans and these are between 505, 501, and skinny styles. Zappos service, as always, superb!

These fit my slender, tall son in the waist and legs wonderfully. However, they were slightly too tight in the crotch area. I guess his torso is long for the Levis 514 straight.

Based on the reviews, I was prepared for the denim to be thin, the workmanship crap, etc. I want the Levis of my youth back, but, dammit, you can't go home again. I think the denim felt fine, and the styling is nice. Sits a little low, but good through the legs and for want of a better word, stylish. I recently paid $80 for fancier jeans, and now I don't see what I got for the extra scratch. I'm 6'2" 195 lbs. Got my regular size, 36 x 32 and they're fine. How durably they will wear is another story, we'll see.

Beware that these are stretch denim. That fact wasn’t listed in the description. Returned and ordered the next smaller size. Otherwise these jeans are great.

Beware that all of the Levi’s Seem to measure a 1/2 inch shorter than marked. Expect another 1:2 inch shrinkage when washed on cold and dried on delegate cycle. Otherwise these Kant’s are great.

Hubs says there’s not enough room in the crotch. Very nice pants though.

Good looking jeans. Sizing is exactly like any other Levi jeans. Not quite as comfortable as my other pair of 514’s but probably just a matter of a few washes

great jeans, last forever

These are great "everyday" jeans. My husband says they are a little tight in the waist, but not too much so. He can wear these with no belt or with one. Good style, too!

I usually wear Levi's 527 low-rise boot-cut jeans and I LOVE the fit. I also wanted some khaki-colored jeans to wear to slightly dressy places so I ordered these. The fit is just different enough that they feel good but not great. Size is also a problem: as one of the other reviewers mentioned, I have a blue pair of 514's that are heavy denim and part stretch. That pair is 30L x 30W and fits a little too loose so I ordered the new pair of khaki 514's in 29W x 30L. Big mistake. I could barely get them on. 30W x 30L also didn't fit so I finally ended up 31W x 30L. This color is beautiful and the cotton is much thinner than most denim...excellent for the summer. And, btw, throughout this size ordeal, Zappo's was great!

Fit is somewhat strange, and quality is not a-plus. But for the price, they pass the test for a decent pair of everyday jeans.

The first pair a bought was perfect but this pair is noticeably green. Too green for me. Returned.
