The 514's fit perfect, I haven't worn Levi's for 20 years but they are still really reliable when it comes to sizing. I liked the soft feel and comfort. I wear 36 X 34 in the 501 shrink to fit style so I ordered 34 x 32 and as I said earlier I was very happy. This was my 4th pair of 514's that I have ordered in various colors.

A perfect pair of jeans? Perhaps. The raise sits just at the waist, snug but not tight at the hips. The thighs give plenty of flexibility while giving the latest "in look" of hipster chic. And then there is the soft, touchable hand of the spun cotton. Bunnysoft. Bronco tough.

I read a review about shrinkage caused by high heat drying. Since that is my default drying, I bought a pair one size bigger, and washed them in hot water and dried them on high heat expecting to get a smaller size, and not worry about the water or dryer temp from then on. Well, they do not shrink at all.

I got exactly what I ordered at at GREAT price. When Zappos says next day delivery, they mean next day delivery.

I love these jeans! The perfect balance between slim and loose. Not to tight and not to loose. My go to size and style.

Order arrived the next day - ordered for a friend in nursing home and he was satisfied. Needed 25 length but ordered 29 and was able to cut off.

I was wearing Levi's 559 jeans and liked them, but they were a bit baggy, I tried the Levis 513 and they were too skinny jean like for me. But these 514 are the best fitting pants I have ever worn!

Got these in a 34x34 for my boyfriend who is 6'4 and has skinny legs and no butt. They look great, not too tight or too baggy. The fabric is soft, not a super stiff denim. He has such a hard time buying jeans because of his size and also because he refuses to buy anything trendy so skinny jeans are obviously out and those horrible faux-distressed jeans are out. That often means Dad jeans are the only other option. But these are the perfect non-trendy, classically cool pair of jeans.

I like the color and feel of the Chinchilla Twill. I found that the sizes ran a bit small. With other 514s, I'm a comfortable 35" waist. In the Chinchilla Twill, I needed to return (2) different pairs of 35"x34" and order a 36"x34" to have one with a comfortable waist. Otherwise, no complaints at all.

These are very comfortable, and they do not stretch out like most - just enough give to make them not too tight, but not enough so they look sloppy. They are hip and stylish without being pretentious, and they fit over his muscular calves. These are my guy's favorite jeans in the world.

These 38/32 Levi 514s were very large. I have another pair of 38/32s that fit fine. I love them, but these were much bigger all the way around. The pair that I own I would rate five stars; the one that I am returning appears to be a good product. The problem is the significant size difference in the the two pairs of jeans.

Excellent pair of jeans. I ordered these to go with a sport coat as well as everyday use. Levi did change their sizing what used to be a 34 x 36 two years ago is now a 34x34.

Absolutely love these jeans. Just the right amount of "washed" look. Fit very true to description: I'm 5'10" female and wear a size 8/10 pant so the 32/34 was great (33 length would have been ideal, but only came in even sizes for length). And as always, Zappos is the best.

For years I could not find a pair of Levi's jeans that would fit right. I'm 6'1" and 34x34. Finally I've found the 514 and I love them. Wash them on cold inside out and hang them to dry, and they'll last a long time.

Very comfortable pants! They're a bit stretchy and don't shrink because of the spandex (3%), like the all cotton 514's. They also run a little larger. Had to exchange them for one size smaller. As always, great customer service Zappos!

Great pants. They are the perfect fit. The cotton is brushed so they feel great. Finally, they look great. I am so impressed.

My 6'8" 17 ur old has a 37" inseam. These pants ,energy after washed and dried are still almost too long. It's awesome! He says they are the most comfortable pants he's ever worn. Zappos for the win!

These were delivered so fast. They are excellent pants. I love them. They are the perfect size and color.

Great pants. They've got a little stretch to them which makes them slim but comfortable. Good for commuting. I am able to where them while riding my bike to work.

My new favorite jeans. I've ordered three colors so far (shoestring, dirt rush and chinchilla), and like them all. Just beware some of the colors (like shoestring) have high-contrast stitching. The material is soft, not thick or heavy, and a tiny bit stretchy, so they are very comfortable to wear all day. The fit is close, but not skinny, so they have a nice modern style for a middle-aged guy to wear to the office and then to happy hour.

Really comfy, very good looking "chino." It's not really a "jean" in my view but more a very relaxed "chino," but that's just a definition thing. They look as expected, are really soft and comfortable, wash well and are easy to iron.
