Very comfortable jeans with modern styling touches. These are my "everyday" jeans, but I wear them to go out on occasion, too, and they work as casual evening wear. They're a great alternative for people who aren't down with the skinny jeans thing. Recommend.

The material is thinner than the 550 model I ordered at the same time. The Andi color is really nice, like you find on much more expensive jeans. The thinner material is more stylish, but certainly not as rugged or as warm as some may want their jeans to be.

These jeans are comfortable, good looking and fit great. Definitely a higher end look/feel for a cheaper price.

These are awesome jeans! I bought them for my guy, and he is super picky about jeans. He does not like the low rise jeans that are popular nowadays, and I do not like them to be too high waisted on him, so these are a happy medium. We liked them so much that we bought another two pairs in other colors. The andi colored jeans look really nice and are perfect for fancy jeans to wear out to dinner. Overall these are great, quality jeans for the price!

I really like the fit and cut of these jeans...don't fit too high or too low. I do wish they had a true blue denim color though. Have bought several pairs.

Not sure when the 559’s got a little stretch, but I like it.

My only complaint is the thickness of the denim,beyond that I found nothing wanting. The style is great for someone that likes to bend his legs without his jeans getting all tightish. I can sit on my back steps and basically do a leg press movement full range. Very comfortable.

Jeans fit well and look nice. The color is nice for business/casual and they seem to hold their color from washing. The jeans feel a little thin which is a definite downside (I have had the levis wear through quickly in the past).

Good jeans. Pretty much as advertised, comfortable but not baggy. So good I bought a second pair the next day because I have hard time finding jeans that fit right. They also walk the line between stylish and classic.

The sizing seems to change frequently. The 34 waist used to run large but the most recent pair fit like a 32.

As mentioned by another reviewer, the denim feels a bit lighter than what you find in other stores. I am not sure if that is a switch with Levis or something else. The thighs are a touch tighter than the 559s that I bought a couple of years ago. Otherwise they feel great. The Indie Blue wash is nice.

Nice and relaxed jeans. Not so roomy that they look baggy, but just enough to be comfy and causal. Not quite as trendy as some other jeans but very comfy and classic look.

I bought these for my boyfriend who is very particular about how his jeans fit. He really likes them and they fit great. I bought them in "Blue Collar" and when we got them they were a bit darker than the picture led us to believe. Overall very happy with the jeans though.

Love the darkness of the fabric, but the denim wasn't quite as good as I was expecting. And possibly runs a little big in size.

I like the jeans, I have other 559 pairs in my closet. But this pair seems to have a bit shorter rise than my other pairs. Not a huge deal, but just not as comfortable for me.

I've actually never worn Levi's. That sounds weird, but it's true. These jeans are very comfortable. They're sturdy, but not too stiff or thick. The size I went with was spot-on, even for my chubby self. Good buy.

As much as I love Levis Jeans I do have a problem with the sizing. Ever since they started production outside of the U.S. the fit has beenall over the place. My suggestion is to try several sizes on and you wil find the one that works best for you. But when you do find that perfect fit, thay are the best jeans out there! And of course buying from Zappos is the only way to go!

I was looking for a new style jean...so I tried these. sizing is all over the place, depending on what color you get. I ordered the standardize, 42/30 these were big. Also ordered indie blue same size these were way to big sent these back. So I tried to order a size smaller, Standardize 40/30 these fit better. Ordered Blue Collar 40/30 Way to small...sent those back. All I can say is thank god for Zappos free shipping both ways!

My husband usually wears the 569 jeans, but when I heard the 559s are to replace the 569s, I decided to have him try them out. These did not work at all. He has a muscular build and these are too snug in the thigh for his comfort. I did notice this was a complaint in other reviews. Also, I think the denim feels thin. I have worn levi's my ENTIRE life, and I am really disappointed in the quality. I guess we are going to have to find another brand.

I've been buying the same cut and size of Levi's jeans for years. I went out of my way to buy these jeans, because I thought that I knew what I would be getting. The jeans that I received were my size and style, but fit very skinny in my thighs and butt. I compared them to another pair, and the cut is definitely different between the two pairs. At least an inch and a half narrower in the hips than a pair that I bought in November 2010. This is the third pair that I've tried that did not meet my expectations. One pair, purchased at a national retail chain was clearly counterfeit, and another was completely untrue to size. Either Levi's quality control, or their brand management is terrible - but seriously, you've disappointed a long-time customer. I have not decided yet whether I will be returning these, but I am questioning my loyalty to the brand.

I have three other pairs of this exact same color Levi Jeans, mans 559, and those fit great. The pair I got from Zappos says that it is the same size on the tag, but way too loose around the waist. I should have returned them immediately, but I tried wearing them. They never shrank after several wash/dry cycles.

The Levi's 559 fits me well so I decided to buy a couple of different finishes. The Sub Zero finish was consistent without excessive fading. I returned the Range finish because the irregular fading went over the edge. I wear jeans to work; the Range finish makes the jean look totally worn out. So be aware that the finish shown in the multi-angle pics isn't necessarily what you'll get. It isn't Zappos fault, it's simply random luck of the draw. Other than the finish, the 559 style and comfort are unsurpassed. I rated them low on Overall because of the Range finish.

Sent these back because they were not the quality I expected. I bought the same exact style of Levis I get at Macy's, but these were much thinner denim with different stitching. They fit smaller too.
