fits fine

Fit great. 5th pair of these over the years. Wish they lasted a little longer. Seems like durability used to be a little better.

Husband prefers a higher rise in front.

Fit and size are very good, and the jeans are very comfortable.

I've waited a long time to get back into Levi's. I finally found a size that rode around my waist rather than my hips. Very nice fit. I wish Levi made a pair that had proper fit around the waist and was also straight legged.

Pretty good jeans. They fit well and I like the stretching thing. I got the avengers. They’re Levi’s ya know, pretty good, very consistent brand.

Very comfortable basic jeans that fit my husband’s athletic thighs. The 100% cotton of this jean is relatively soft but sturdy at the same time.

Classic Levi fit. Ordered 34x34. Inseam at delivery was 33, which was acceptable because my experience with inseams shorter than advertised.

I haven't been a fan of Levis for some time because they dont fit well on me, but I purchased the 559 relaxed straight and I am satisfied with this particular color and fit

Good for casual Fridays. Fit a little loose, but it's comfortable because I have muscular calves & thighs (cyclist).

They are somewhat looser in the waist than other styles.

I am 5'-11" tall, 190 lbs. and I keep myself pretty fit by hiking and mountain biking. I purchased 2 pairs of the 559's in Steely Blue, size 34w x 32l. I have been wearing the 559's for years and I like the fit. These 2 pairs fit a little differently than those that I have had in the past. They fit looser especially in the butt. I may go down a waist size when I order more in the future. I'm still happy with them and always happy with Zappos' prices and their customer service.

Great fit. Order a size too big by mistake. Zappos made it right super quick. I like the strecth versions. Very comfortable and great colors available. Zappos has the best selection.

As quite a few others have stated, the sizing is all over the place. It's a great cut when it fits right, but that's a big if. 559s can be hard to find at the store, so credit to Zappos for carrying them. I bought a pair retail a few months ago in one of the khaki type colors and was pretty happy with them. They were certainly a little tighter through the leg than I'm used to, but that's what I was going for. I bought two more pairs through Zappos, one black, and one in a light denim. The black ones were looser fitting than the khaki ones I got at the store, but I was still pretty happy with them, so I kept them. The jeans were tighter and I ended up returning them. Thrilled with Zappos, Levi's could stand to improve the consistency of their product (and honestly, the quality of the fabric, for that matter). Give these a try. You might like them, but you might not. 505s are a similar story.

Pay attention to the materials listed in the description. The 100% cotton pairs (such as Wellington) are the most true to what people think of when they think of jeans. I'm a bit of a husky guy and hate skinny jeans. These are roomy without being baggy. They are the perfect pair of jeans. Please don't ever stop making them! I would like to see more 100% cotton variety, though. The more elastane thats in them the more like yoga pants they become.

Normally I buy Lucky brand or CK but i needed a pair quickly and didn't want to spend the additional dollars. These fit well, are comfortable and stylish enough to fit in my collection.

I was expecting the usual khaki feel but was amazed by how they really felt when I put them on! Nice and soft!

COMFORTABLE!!! I am a 34 waist in some jeans 36 in others. I am a 36 in these jeans. Several years ago the Levi 559 was my first pair of stretchy jeans. They set the new standard, and i do not want anything else. Room in the seat and thighs, do not slip down when bending over, and very comfortable sitting. I highly recommend.
