Looking at one of the chain stores for black Levis -- you'd think I was asking for purple with green spots! I hunt for a "sales associate" to see if they are available -- eventually the answer is no, and this isn't something they special order. Zappos -- no problem! Just what I want, delivered quickly!

I bought a pair of these in a different color (Midnight Oil) and this pair (Blue Collar) fits more loosely. I could probably go down a size or two and they'd fit more closely.

I recently placed a order with Zappos and was very pleased not only with the item I purchased but next day/free shipping is amazing! Looking forward to placing my next order! I would recommend Zappos to everyone!

Excellent jeans, I have been very disappointed by Levi's and their fit lately but I think they finally got in right with the 559's. They are not super skinny like the 501's but not super baggy. Just the right fit.

Great jeans at a great price! A nice relaxed, casual pair of jeans.

If you have a muscular build from squats and deadlifts, 559 may be a better fit versus 501 or 505's.

I took the 36 inch leg and they were a great length for me, as 36's can sometimes be a little longer than you want. The color is a nice dark blue but they are a little lighter on the front of the thighs and after a couple of washes I can see this area becoming even lighter. Not extremely so, but something to be aware of. The material is on the thinner, lighter side, so they are good for warmer temperatures. Overall, they are now my fav jeans.

I bought these for my 13 year old who didn't really like them (teenagers, ugh!) but my husband tried them on and really liked them. The material is not stiff and they are very comfortable.

Love these jeans! Very comfortable throughout the thighs/hips which is what usually ruins jeans for me. For the price they feel really well built, don't stretch out much with each wear and look brand new after each wash. Great cut for tall men.

I got these for my boyfriend, who has a notoriously large behind. I saw the positive reviews from guys with similar issues, and decided to give them a try. Success! They are a tad long on him, but they still look great and fit him well. Quality is nice too.

I bought 2 pairs for my boyfriend who wears 36x36 jeans for Christmas and he loves them, and he actually ordered 2 more pairs. They fit like jeans that men wear not the new style of kids today. Excellent fit. Incredibly comfortable cotton. Very roomy and with a nice taper at the legs for boots.

These are my boyfriend's favorite Levi's. It is a bit of a challenge to find the 559's in local stores, so we were very happy to find them at Zappos. The jeans are very durable and keep their color for a long time considering how rough he is with them. The fit is always, always reliable. We both have always preferred Levi's. A great brand.
