They are great in waist as they fit more snug as worn. They were a little too long and the tailor at the store hemmed them great. She did a fantastic job and they looked good on me for all the outings I will do with family and friends.

I've been very happy with these jeans. They are a good fit for slim guys who want something that doesn't look baggy but also isn't constricting. The material is reasonably lightweight, so they're comfortable even in warmer situations. I'm pleased by the styling and they fit true to size.

i really like going in to shop at DXL where there's great help and great service. No wasting time searching for your size like in a department store. The choice of extended sizes for tall and big guys on name brands and better labels is fantastic

Not a bad pair of everyday jeans. I haven't worn Levi's since I was a kid, but decided to try a pair and I bought a 2nd pair because I like the style for the price. Very good value. They fit relaxed without being too baggy. I would like them just a bit more fitted and the leg opening to not be so wide, but overall I'm happy with them. I got the blue collar color and the material is nice and light weight. Got another pair in the sub zero color and the denim was much heavier. I like the lighter weight so the blue collar one's work for me. Waist and length fit true to size.

My boyfriend absolutely loved these. The fit is very flattering and the fabric feels like it will last a long time. He has worn them dressed up for dinner and with a t-shirt on the weekends. Very good purchase.

Black 559 ?

Awesome, comfortable cut in waist and crotch, no shrinkage after washing; my new favorites. Fit true to size.

These are some of the most comfortable jeans I have ever worn. My daughter says they don't look like the old man jeans I usually wear. I am buying another of these, I am extremely satisfied.

Great fit! The seat doesn't bind, yet the overall appearance is slimming. Very soft too.

it feel great to wear a good pair of jeans

I needed a pair of jeans for work (office casual). I bought about six other colors of the 559's. I didn't realize the different colors had different materials and weights. The "covered up" are great. Cool modern color. They are a blended material and thinner than most other jeans. The tiny bit of stretch is there but not noticeable. All I notice is a comfortable pair of jeans I can wear all day.

The sweat pants of jeans! Holy crap. I couldn't believe how comfortable these were at first. They stretch a little bit, which is amazing. I've been fostering a new gut recently, so my waist line seems to keep expanding. When I went to dinner with a buddy last night, I even got dessert without having to unbutton my jeans to make room. I'll gladly be ordering them in 1 or 2 more colors.

Can't go wrong with Levi's, and these are no exception. It's true what others have said that these 559s are made with a lighter weight denim, but I'm OK with that. I don't see it as a lesser quality pair of jeans for that reason. Levi's still makes plenty of styles with the traditional heavyweight denim for demanding work, but these are pretty ideal for regular everyday comfort. Actually, after having these for a few weeks they've really become my new go to jeans. Super comfortable, relaxed fit without being at all baggy, looks good with all my shoes & boots. What's not to like? As always, Zappo's has the selection of sizes & colors that nobody else can touch, with prices & service to match. I think I'll be coming back for another pair.

These have become my go to jeans for fit and comfort. I am 6'2" and about 210 pounds and have a fairly athletic build. They basically fit like the 505s with a slightly longer rise - sit a bit higher on the waist which I really like. The 505s sit too low for my taste - it is hard to bend over without feeling like you are showing a bit of butt crack. The cash and levine wash are a stretch fabric. I wear a 34x34 in the non-stretch and a 32x34 in the stretch. It took me many returns to figure this out.

These are the new model which are a little looser then the old style that you might find in a department store.

Perfect fit for me. Based on larger than normal legs, my usual go-to for jeans Levi's 569. I took a shot on the 559 to take advantage of the Relaxed Fit with a slightly different style. Super soft denim. Nice addition to my wardrobe.
