Been wearing Levi's 517 for 23 years, have tried other styles of Levi's plus other brands but the 517s just sent me the best. Used to do a lot of horseback riding and they were great for that. Material is a lot heavier than some of the current Levi's styles – they really wear well. I've had some pairs for 8 years, washed a lot and is still wearable. Sadly, after 50 years Levi's decided to DISCONTINUE this style (2019). Still available at Zappos and some other websites, so get them while you can!

I buy this for my husband as they are the only jeans he wears. He keeps a pair for everyday use and a darker one for when he gets more “dressed up”. He’s been wearing Levi’s since high school and only Levi’s!!

My husband is picky about his jeans and the Levi's 517 style are the only thing he'll wear. This particular style is becoming very difficult to find in stores or online so we were very pleased to be able to get them through Zappos. He loves the way they feel on him. In his line of work jeans are what he needs and these fit the bill.

What more can I ad? These are the classic 517s I've been wearing for 45 plus years! Rigid denim is a heavier fabric that will fade and soften with washing.They run true to size and will shrink a very small amount which makes them fit even better. You can't go wrong with these jeans or with Zappos price and service! .

Very hard to find 517 boot fit in the heavy duty material. This is ALL my husband will wear as they fit his shape the best and most comfortable out of any other. The heavy material lasts against heavy work he does.

these are the only jeans the hubs wears (for as long as we've been married!) he likes the fit - definitely not into tight jeans so these are perfect for him. although not tight fitting, they aren't big and baggy either. we like the indigo - dark color.

A good pair of Levi’s jeans. Can’t go wrong!
