They're jeans. They are great. What more can I say? I clicked on my computer and they showed up at my house. I love the future. 517's are perfect for daily use when you want to wear jeans but don't want to look like a retarded hipster. Zappos sells those stupid skinny leans too if you're into that kind of thing but if you want to get a job other than working at the local coffee shop I'd suggest 517's.

I like to wear my pants fitted, so these at a size just one number below what it should be are perfect for that. They are great pants.

ALL of the jeans I own are Levi's, and the 517 Boot Cut jeans are one of my favorite cuts. The space in the thigh area is JUST RIGHT, as there is not too much or too little space. The flare at the bottom is also ideal as it lays well on different types of shoes and sneakers. As the description states, the 517 sits AT the waist; which is a nice change from low rise jeans. I wear low rise jeans as well.

I am 60 years old and never ever had such prompt service. I don't know how these guys do it, but they are good. The jeans fit perfectly, too.

I buy my husband Levi's bootcut every 4 to 5 years as they wear out. He loves these jeans as they are soft and feel "broke in" already. Great price and love the free shipping - freight in Hawaii is usually more than items we buy. We will definitely be shopping with you more!

We had a problem with something we ordered due to our own error. Zappos cheerfully said no problem and we'll exchange it for whatever you need.They're the best. There is actually a trained English speaking person in customer service that is helpful without being put on waiting or hold forever. Zappos is the best.

I've been wearing 517s for a number of years and it seems that they aren't as skinny-fitting in the thigh as they were 10 years back, which is fine by me. I used to have to order a size up from what I would normally wear with other Levi's. Now I can wear the size I am in all other jean styles. They are still slim fitting though. I like them better this way.However, They are most defiantly longer in the inseam than advertised, which I think is new too. With my most recent purchase, I had to exchange my normal 34 inch inseam for a 32 inches. The 34 inch was like a size longer than normal.Overall, I'm still very fond of this cut and would recommend it.

Love 'em! These are the first 517's I think I've ever seen with seven belt loops. Not five. Love that too! Wish they fit just a little lower on the waist.

i love zappos. my order was 100% accurate, it arrived the next day free of charge. on top of that, i ordered a size too big and the correct size was shipped out promptly, matter of fact the next day. zappos gets a a+ for sure!

PANTS FOR A REAL MAN!! Thank Heavens Levi's is one of the few brands left that didn’t sell out to only making skinny jeans for men!! I bought these for my boyfriend who is 6'1, 240lbs...Now how the hell can he wear skinny jeans??!! I got the jeans in a size 38X38 and they fit beautifully! My boyfriend likes his jeans "at waist" and these did the perfect job. They're sort of slim fit thru the thigh, but not tight, had enough wiggle room in the rise and the inseam is long! These are just great dark denim perfect for casual fridays at work, or going out on the weekends. Nice job Levi's. BTW, the Black Shrink-to-Fit look better if you wash them before wearing. The material loosens up (they're very stiff) and I don’t know about the shrinking thing, if anything, it seems they go to a more straight leg fit. Good Luck... these are a definite for big or tall guys!!

Super fast shipping. The jeans were just as advertised. Slim fit without being "skinny".

My dad has to have only these Levi's. He gets a pair every year for Christmas. This year he bought my stepson and nephew a black pair, as well. Now, they go joy riding together in their black Levi's. Even the 14 and 7 year olds like the fit. They are durable, comfortable, and last. A true Levi's jean.

Zappos had exactly what I wanted, and it was shipped very quickly. The price was pretty good, too. On the negative side, I had to place three separate orders for the same item, but that was no big deal.

Had been looking for this particular Levi for my husband forever & Zappos came through plus arrived next day; does it get any better? Also had a waist size option that I was not aware existed. This is my second experience with Zappos & won't be last.

Jeans arrived very quickly and were the correct size. I am 6'6" and have had a very hard time finding these jeans in 38x36 on other web sites. I know I can find them here. I am a repeat customer and also buy my shoes and sneakers here.

I'm happy to have found these for my teenage son who is thin and tall in a 29 x 36. He loves the traditional fit (sits at the waist). I searched many sites to find jeans in 29 x 36. Great job Zappos!

As an elder that has worn Levi 517 boot cut for 60 years, I continue to like them. Although, I wish they were still made in the USA instead of Mexico.

In my experience, Levi's are consistent within product lines (eg: 517, 527, etc): same size, same fit, same color, same material, same quality every time. So if you like them once, you'll like them every time. However, they are not necessarily consistent between product lines. That is, a black 32x36 Boot Cut 517 probably won't be the same color or fit the same way as a black 32x36 Boot Cut 527. The fit is different by design, of course, so you may need a larger or smaller size between lines, for example.
