Have always loved the 517s -- only issue I have with them is that the length of the pants (the inseam) seems to run longer than usual -- but then again, it may just be that I have really short legs. But other than that, this is my go-to boot-cut jeans.

Okay, Levi's are Levi's and you know what you are getting with the product; however, the folks at Zappos get it right. Recently I was shopping in a large store, overwhelmed with the maze of racks, noise and lack of helpful staff. Big sale was going on so I thought this would be worth my time and effort to wrestle through the parking lot, crowd, etc., only to find exactly what I wanted and it was on sale! Oh happy day, that never happens to me...upon closer look, the "sale price" was what I paid Zappos for the same jeans. Hmmm, to have an item on the doorstep the very next day from Zappos beats the madness of store shopping. To finish my shopping tale, why not get the jeans right there at same price? The checkout line, the uninformed staff attempting to find a manager to straighten out the "sale price"...that's why.

I ordered these for my husband and he loved them. He's a pretty fashionable guy (usually prefers Diesel jeans, but they're too expensive!) and he ended up wearing these every day. They are definitely good quality, well-made, and seem like they will last, which is what I was going for.

Zappos' store is great! I found the jeans I was looking for at a great price. Overnight shipping was provided for free. Because of this I got my order the next day!

One pair of these jeans were much larger than 36x29. The other pair fit perfect.

Great jeans! They fit good and it's nice to find the size you need. Bought six pairs, five were perfect but one pair didn't fit right at all (flawed shape). Thanks to Zappos free shipping it was easy to return.

The 517 boot cut Levis fit perfect the black color was nice and dark. I would recommend this product!

These jeans offer both the comfort and the rugged reliability of stonewashed denim. This is my favorite style of jeans, and I got them the next day! One small negative is that the right leg is twisted to the right slightly. This seems to be an inherent problem with most Levi's products, though. Thankfully, Zappos has a great replacement / return policy.

Levi's! Great brand! Great jeans! While I miss the custom program Levi's used to offer, where you could design your own jean, and get any size, I managed to find what fit me here (34x38) at Zappos and will be buying more! Poor Mr Strauss probably was rolling over in his grave when Levi's sent manufacturing overseas, but the quality still seems to be there!

My tall teen wears size 29x36 which is impossible to find .... except at Zappos. Thank you for saving my teen from having to choose between high waters or baggy pants - these fit perfectly!

I have discovered the best place on the Internet for ordering jeans -- Zappos! I used to buy only shoes from Zappos but after buying jeans elsewhere online and being unhappy with the fit I would have to have paid for the return postage. Zappos' policy of free shipping made me feel much better about ordering through them. And the wide variety of sizes available made the process even easier. The jeans arrived practically overnight, fit perfectly, and Zappos now has a new jeans customer.

Normally wear a 32, had to return and get 34s in these. Then I bought some Levi 527s, and a 34 was huge on me. So be careful. At lease they offer free returns.

As far as the boot cut jeans are, I've worn them a number of times throughout my life. It is a very comfortable jean. Where Zappos is concerned, they are great. Got my jeans the next day. Ordered them at 2:00 PM and got them the next day. Now if that isn't service I do not know what is.

This is not about Levi's, everyone knows their reputation,but about hard to find Levi's 517, black. 31-34. In stock and shipped in less than 24 hours. This on a purchase made on a holiday weekend. I always liked Levi's, I've now become a fan of Zappos.com. Good job. Thank you.

They're jeans. They are great. What more can I say? I clicked on my computer and they showed up at my house. I love the future. 517's are perfect for daily use when you want to wear jeans but don't want to look like a retarded hipster. Zappos sells those stupid skinny leans too if you're into that kind of thing but if you want to get a job other than working at the local coffee shop I'd suggest 517's.

I like to wear my pants fitted, so these at a size just one number below what it should be are perfect for that. They are great pants.

ALL of the jeans I own are Levi's, and the 517 Boot Cut jeans are one of my favorite cuts. The space in the thigh area is JUST RIGHT, as there is not too much or too little space. The flare at the bottom is also ideal as it lays well on different types of shoes and sneakers. As the description states, the 517 sits AT the waist; which is a nice change from low rise jeans. I wear low rise jeans as well.
